A little wise planning in advance will help you make the most of what’s going on this week. Fortunately, Mercury in Gemini is fairly bright and likes making lots of plans and lists. You might want to consider doing just that, because although your brain will be working pretty sharply, the rest of you may very well be on some kind of badly programmed, crazy autopilot.
If change is what is needed in your love life or your personal relationships, this could very well be the week to take some action. Venus in Aries already has a reputation for impulsiveness, but this week it passes through the degrees of the cardinal grand Cross, aspecting four of the Solar System’s heaviest hitters. If what you need is a dose of love life courage, this week will give you the ammunition you probably need.
Of course, most people would be willing to blame this week’s upheaval on Wednesday’s Full Moon in Scorpio, and those people would have a point. Full Moons are always good for shaking things up, and this particular Full Moon packs an extra edge: On Wednesday, the Moon doesn’t merely conjunct Saturn as well, it occults it — passing directly between Earth and Saturn. Think of it as a conjunction times two, and you get the idea. Venus is also square Pluto that day, which will make appetites (both romantic and digestive) particularly strong. That’s a fantastic combination if what you need is more passion from someone. However, if you’re the one worried about being consumed, you have my permission to hide under the bed that day.
On Thursday, Mercury is both sextile Venus and Uranus, and Venus is conjunct Uranus. If you weren’t able to take advantage of Wednesday’s wild passions, today’s waxing moon in Sagittarius could very well lend you the sense of adventure you need to make things happen in your personal life.
Moon in Sagittarius on Friday combined with all these energies might make for a wild night on the town, except that the Moon is Void of Course all that day. If you like your adventures to be completely unplanned, or you enjoy a good comedy of errors, go for it. Otherwise, save your best romantic shots for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday evening, Moon in Capricorn makes a square to Mars and a conjunction to Pluto, which could make things pretty passionate. Then again, like the song says, “Saturday nights alright for fighting,” so be careful which passions we’re talking about.
Finally, on Sunday, Venus square Jupiter leaves us all with hunger pains in one form or another, and that energy carries on into Monday… just in time for Mars to go direct. Action ahoy!
