If you are in the habit of following what’s going on in the Zodiac, you can be forgiven for feeling a little shell-shocked this April, even though the month is only about two-thirds over. With one eclipse behind us, and one ahead of us, and the peak of the Cardinal Grand Cross approaching, April feels a little bit like an epic clash of uncontrollably huge forces.
It’s time to take a bit of a breather and relax, people. The fact that you’re reading this now indicates you survived that first eclipse just fine. The toughest part of the Cardinal Grand Cross is the Uranus-Pluto square, and that’s already been going on for nearly a couple of years now, and obviously we’ve survived. See? Everything is just fine. Relax.
Now: is everyone out there settled down? Comfy? Good. Let’s talk about Mars square Jupiter, Mars square Uranus, and Mars square Pluto, all of which hit their peak this week.
There’s likely to be a little more anxiety and agitation on either your part or that of the people around you. Mars square Jupiter is highly energetic, kind of like an undisciplined child filled with sugar. Think carefully before you take any bold new actions. Look both ways before you cross the street.
Mars square Uranus sometimes enjoys blowing things up just for the pretty fireworks. Is your bold new approach the wisest way to handle your situation, or are you just tired of taking it on the chin and want to lash out at something, or someone, or anything or anyone just to change things up?
Mars square Pluto demands action, even if that action isn’t terribly wise. Expect your impatience with life to be elevated. You may be worried that you’re bringing a knife to a gun fight, but really… is there even a fight going on at all, and are weapons really even necessary?
Fortunately for all of us, Mercury enters Taurus this week. Normally Mercury in Taurus doesn’t usually get rave reviews. A Bull Mercury usually prefers to take its time with thoughts and words rather than take quick action. But under the current circumstances, a little patience and reserve is exactly what we all need. Try to take advantage of that as much as you can this week. Breathe deeply and count to 10 before you make any important decisions, or finally decide that today is the day you’re going to speak up to someone.
However your week goes, there is always some comfort in knowing that the weekend comes afterwards. Friday’s Venus trine Saturn brings a little stability to everyone’s moods, and Saturdays Mercury sextile Neptune makes peaceful thoughts and actions easier.
There, you see? You survived this week just fine. Congratulations!
Now, about next week’s solar eclipse…
