The Zodiac is presenting us with a relatively peaceful and constructive set of transits this week. That has to be good news, because by now you’ve probably heard about the upcoming Cardinal Grand Cross, and (even if you haven’t) on some level or another you’ll probably have a sense that you should catch all the breaks you can. Go ahead and listen to that instinct, because the planets are firmly backing that. The wise General gathers his strength and marshals his resources before a battle, and you should too.
Even though it doesn’t peak for another three weeks, it’s probably a good idea to start looking ahead at that Cross now. It’s unlikely to bring tensions out of the woodwork suddenly and without warning: It’s more likely to see the peak of tensions that have been building since last October or so, or possibly even over the last couple of years.
Tuesday is April Fools’ Day, and if you’re the kind of person who doesn’t take well to being deceived, Sun square Jupiter will not help your mood. Try not to be too excessive with either your emotions or your pranks, okay?
Throughout the middle of the week, calmer heads should hopefully prevail, as Mercury trine Saturn gives us all an opportunity to both think more clearly and put our thoughts into action with greater effectiveness. Keep this in mind when on Wednesday Sun conjunct Uranus in Aries (and then on Thursday, Sun square Pluto) has the potential to make everyone’s egos (yours included) a little more unbearable than usual. With everyone at your workplace trying to be The Big Star among a cast of thousands, your best approach may be to lay low, use your head, and think before you act.
And, just in time for Date Night: Saturday sees Venus enter Pisces. Theoretically, Venus in Pisces is the strongest place for it to be. Often that’s a good thing for one’s love life and one’s finances, but don’t be deceived. Sometimes strong affection is answered with more affection in return, and sometimes it’s just a matter of having a bottomless pit for an appetite. Be clear with yourself and others as regards your appetites (both romantic and otherwise) and you’ll be able to better fulfill the promise of this placement.
Oh, and finally… about that whole Cardinal Grand Cross thing that is reaching its peak two or three weeks from now: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: don’t panic. You have survived worse in your life. Stick around and keep an eye on your forecasts here for the next few weeks, because believe me — you’ll be needing some advice. Not only is the Cardinal Grand Cross affecting those of you with major placements around 13 degrees of the Cardinal Signs… April also sees two eclipses in Aries/Libra and in Taurus! Astrology: we’ve got something for everyone!
