Can you feel it? The air is absolutely buzzing right now! Jupiter & Venus are hosting a party in the sign of Taurus. And not only are the two benefics doing the astro shimmy in the most sensual sign of all the zodiac, they are playing nice with Mars and Pluto, both of which are also in earth signs – Virgo and Capricorn, respectively.
An exact trine between these four planets occured in the early morning hours of March 14, 2012 but the effects of this prime astrological configuration will be felt for months to come. This is earth we’re talking about, after all. It’s grounding, stable, in the for the long haul.
Earth Signs: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
The meeting of Jupiter and Venus alone is a fantastic vibration. Especially so for romance, socializing, luck with money, and lofty fantasies. The addition of Mars to the mix means that these desires can be brought down to earth and actually put into action. And with Pluto completing the trifecta there’s potential for utter transformation. For more specifics on how this lovely line up of the planets might effect your life you should reference your rising sign. I suggest astro.com for creating a natal chart. You’ll need your birth place and time to be as accurate as possible. Knowing your rising sign (or ascendant) means knowing where this alignment shows up your chart.
For example, I have Scorpio rising so the Jupiter/Venus conjunction falls in my 7th house, while Mars is in the 11th house, and Pluto is on the 3rd. This means my area of partnering (7th house) is being blessed (Jupiter) with much beauty (Venus), while the energy of desire and action (Mars) is lighting up my area of hopes and wishes (11th house), and the power of transformation (Pluto) wraps it all up in the area of communication (3rd house). This configuration means that big changes in both my personal and professional life are possible at this time. I’ll be placing focus on how I communicate, as this may be the key to transforming my life for the better. And with Mars going retrograde where it is, the changes may actually be the result of revisiting dreams that have been neglected or forgotten. It’s an exciting time!
As the greater benefic, much ado is made about Jupiter. However, the planet truly sends down it’s good luck to those that willfully channel it’s energies. As the ruler of Sagittarius, it is the planet of “learning through doing.” That is, you gotta take that first step to initiate the flow. Setting and being conscious of intentions helps to make the most of Zeus’ blessings. Gemstones can help you receive and direct these energies as well. Simply carry a stone in your pocket or purse, or combine form & function by wearing a piece of gemstone jewelry. The following are a few examples of stones that can be useful for drawing down the planets. Click the images to find out more about the item. Enjoy!
