Let’s be honest here: it’s not as if the moment the Sun enters Aries and the Northern Hemisphere welcomes Spring that everyone comes down with a massive dose of Spring Fever. Not all of the lingering emotional questions of Pisces Season (especially one as big as we’ve just had) will just simply drift away while no one is looking.
Having said that: drop your Mope and grab some Hope — it’s time to take action! Mercury is no longer retrograde, so your words, actions, and new activities are all much more likely to turn out well. Mid-week, the Sun enters Aries and is conjunct Venus and climbs to the conjunction with Mars. Regardless of the signs involved, the Sun making contact with the planets of Love and Sex lends a boost to social interactions, whether love and/or sex are your goal. One way or another, the urge to “bust loose” is strong this week, and with a little forethought, you should be able to pick and choose your social targets and make progress.
After the Sun, Venus enters Aries. Venus in Aries has a reputation for being a little impulsive when it comes to love and finance, but the girl knows how to have a good time. If your love life or finances have been stuck in a rut of late, now until mid-April will bring opportunities for you to shake things up.
Take a little caution with you when you approach your boss about that raise/new office you’ve been dreaming of: Jupiter and Saturn are exactly quincunx this week. If you’re thinking, “Quincunx? That sounds painful!” and “Jupiter and Saturn? Wow, someone’s philosophical outlook on life could get really stomped on by the harsh realities of life on the Material Plane,” then … congratulations! You know your astrology! Also: You probably worry too much, but a little diplomacy could prove vital this week.
As for Saturday, the traditional day of the week for blowing off steam and going out and partying — the Moon is in Leo, which normally would be great for that sort of thing. Except that this time, the Moon is Void of Course all day long. You heard me: All Day Long. Plan nothing, start nothing new, expect no change. Just float in it. Heck, even if you plan to do nothing this weekend, you’d better plan it in advance. There’s nothing more annoying than having a quiet weekend at home interrupted with a bunch of sudden romantic and social impulses and stuff.
