4 years writing for one website (that’s not even your own) is a long time in internet years. And unfortunately for us, Michelle Suzanne will no longer being writing her weekly forecast or recording her weekly podcast for Sasstrology, as of right before Christmas.
I’m sad to see her go—when I was looking for a weekly horoscope writer back in 2008, Michelle’s “voice” resonated more with me than anyone other potential contributor. I appreciate Michelle’s weekly devotion to interpreting the movement in the heavens to our readers, and especially for the time we spent together recording our podcast. We’ve met in person only once, but I feel we’ll always be friends.
What’s Next?
That’s a good question. Sasstrology is six years old, and it’s gone through many transitions. (Does anybody remember a forum? I’m trying to forget.)
We will continue to feature the writing of Nadia Gilchrist. She’s plugging away on her weekly series on Sun-Moon compatibility, and she’ll keep writing feature articles on Sex & Relationship Astrology. And we’ve still got daily horoscopes by Kelli Fox, The Astrologer, and monthly horoscopes by Eric Francis of Planet Waves.
But what, dear reader, are you craving? So many websites publish a weekly forecast, so without Michelle around, do you want us to find a new writer, or should we devote our resources to publishing more unique content?
