The cosmic landscape shifts on Monday when the Sun moves into smoldering Scorpio. You are now officially on your Underworld journey. The usual Scorpionic intensity is in the air, along with a cut to the chase attitude.
This week is markedly different from many we’ve had. There’s a beautiful lightness of being that must co-exist with the heaviness of Sun, Mercury and Saturn in Scorpio. In spite of a terse meeting between the Sun and Saturn on Thursday, sweet Neptune softens many of the edges that would normally be seen and felt at this time.
And then there’s the added sweetness of Lady Venus returning to her Libra castle in the sky on Sunday. Mistress of her domain, magnetic Venus bestows an alchemical gift to draw lovers—and would-be’s—in. Once they’re close enough, Ms. Venus then provides just enough impetus to help you close the deal, so to speak—with the utmost charm. Venus in Libra knows that control is all about appearing to not be too bothered about needing control.
Appearances can be deceiving, of course. Control—and the pursuit of it, as well as what to do with it—is very much a part of the quest. Mars and Jupiter are vying for top-dog position, although much of it is bravado and bluster. If you’re into competitive debates, sneering at politicians—or just arguing ‘cuz you like to—this week is a boon. Just don’t take yourself—or anyone else, for that matter—too seriously right now.
