Love Horoscope for the Week of September 17

As Summer officially passes the baton to Fall on Saturday’s Equinox, we get the message loud and clear: everything must change.

The seasonal shift is an exclamation mark on a deal that’s already been written. If sultry days giving way to dark nights were your only complaint, you’d likely moan for a moment then get on with your routine. But we’re long past routine, and there’s no sense waiting for the regular rhythm of your world to return. Listen for a new tempo and, while you’re at it, take note that the key signature hasn’t changed as well.

In essence, you need a new song to sing—something that evokes the renewed intensity you’re in for. Uranus and Pluto are at it again. They’ve been making background noise for months, but this week they’ll up the volume, and it’ll be pretty hard to tune out. Pluto ends its retrograde movement on Monday, and then meets up in a square to Uranus on Wednesday. It’s about as comforting as a chainsaw drilling outside your window at five in the morning.

What to do about it? Rise up and sing along. Find the melody in their raucous sound, or add some harmony. But there’s no point in opening your window and telling these heavyweights to shut the bleep up. Ain’t gonna happen.

To be fair, Uranus and Pluto are building a better road. It may appear as if they don’t agree on the method—but then again, a song doesn’t necessarily know how it’s going to be composed while it’s being created, does it?

Don’t just stand there; move with the forces of change and sing out, Louise.
