This is a mondo week that begins with a lunar eclipse with more kick than your Monday morning coffee. You can thank a trio of planets in jittery Gemini, the very region where Venus continues to sashay backwards. In fact, the day after the eclipse, she backs up right over the Sun. It’s called a Transit of Venus, and it’s a big deal that bridges the gap between those Gemini Twins.
Meanwhile Neptune—the planet that sings Venus’ heartfelt song an octave higher—goes retrograde. And Mercury—one of the eclipse’s main players—moves into sensitive Cancer. It’s almost as if this week was built for tears. They could just as easily be tears of joy as sadness. Or healing tears, or why am I crying anyway? tears. Point being: If you don’t kill a pack of Kleenex, you haven’t got a soul. Kidding.
Still, the high voltage is no joke. Patience is at a premium, especially between lovers. Old habits, relationships or situations that stunt your growth are on their way out. Duality consciousness is getting a cosmic head-butt. And yet hearts are opening more and more as everyone learns to think and feel and act from Love. That’s just how Lady Venus would have it.
