Feeling flirty? As Venus settles into airy Gemini for a four-month-long visit (see below), we’re all going to be experiencing a desire to be out and about, taking a bite out of life. Like a butterfly, Gemini loves to flit from flower to flower, sampling the nectar of each.
If you’re single, this transit can encourage you to meet new people, though you may want to keep your expectations low, since it’s a better time to date and mingle than it is to forge any kind of long term commitment. For those already in relationships, Venus in Gemini offers plenty of opportunities for fun and new experiences. Take advantage of Gemini’s curious nature and see what you can learn about your partner that you didn’t already know. It may take a shared adventure or even the influence of someone else to bring out your partner’s “other” side, but since Gemini is the sign of the twins, the chances are good that you’ll find what you are looking for.
Parties and other social occasions should be particularly fun and interesting during Venus’ transit through Gemini. Everyone is just a little more open and engaged, hungry for new input and ideas.
If you have been feeling stagnant or stuck, Gemini’s breeze of fresh air and light will blow away the last cobwebs of winter and allow you to re-connect with other people in new and interesting ways.
Editor’s Note: Venus will station retrograde on May 15 and station direct on June 27 (hence her long visit in Gemini).
