11:00 a.m.The King & Queen of Hearts and that “Crazy little thing called Love!” – Karen Hollis
Karen Hollis, of “Readings by Karen,” will speak on the King and Queen of Hearts in the regular deck of playing cards and how their personalities reveal interesting paths that people take to fulfill the need for long and lasting relationships. Karen will talk about the “patterns” that she sees in people’s readings, and the pitfalls of believing in those patterns. Come listen to a realistic and compelling talk by a full time psychic/intuitive and learn how to find your true love!
Karen has successfully maintained her career as an intuitive for over 20 years. She has been featured in “Connecticut Life” newspaper, and advertises in “The Door Opener” magazine. As a member of the Astrological Society of Connecticut, Karen has lectured extensively and has taught Tarot card reading at the “Lifelearn” continuing education center in West Hartford, CT. There is a similarity between the energy centers of the body (the chakras) and the planets. Harvey will discuss various approaches to balancing the body centers.
Harvey is a past board member of the Astrological Society of Connecticut, is an avid researcher whose interests are eclectic and constantly changing.

Throughout the world and in all times, the Shaman has existed to offer aid to members of his or her community. The Shaman assisted with daily decisions, in the healing of illnesses and in guiding individuals in their daily lives. Today, we extend the Shaman’s role in our modern day society and start to understand its techniques through Journeying and Drumming; bringing old Traditions forth again. Join in this exploration with Agneta and she will take you on a Journey as well …

Professional Life Coaching creates a greater awareness of who we are and empowers us to see new possibilities. The coaching process helps clients define what they want, set goals, and develop strategies to achieve them. Coaching is appropriate for any woman who is ready to act on the challenges in her life. There will be a brief overview of Life Coaching; 1 volunteer mini-session; the complementary nature of Life Coaching; 1 volunteer mini-session; Overview of Abundance Intelligence: True Abundance is exercising the freedom to be who you are. Time is allowed for questions.
Kate Trudeau is a certified Compass Life Coach, with a seminary background. A Yale graduate, Kate is also a garden variety Geek; an ardent believer in the Internet, Computers, Smart Phones and everything else that this technological age can bring. She owns her own Internet Technology Business, as well as a podcasting business with her husband. For relaxation, she writes and illustrates Children’s books.

Drinking tea has become an integral way of life. The spirit of the tea ceremony embodies the basic principles of harmony, respect, purity, appreciation and tranquility. The tea ceremony is a way to focus on mental spirituality, relaxation, and to enjoy a tradition that is thousands of years old. These principles represent the highest ideals of humanity.
Ting Chaponis is the owner of Green Teahouse. She grew up at a tea drinking family in China and came to USA 7 years a go. She received a master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism from the University of New Haven in 2007. After graduation, she opened her family tea business in West Hartford at Blue Back Square. Their mission is to spread the Chinese tea culture around the nation and to offer the best quality teas for American consumers.
