Venus conjunct Jupiter in Cancer: exact June 9, 2026 at approximately 25 degrees Cancer. Saturn in Aries squares both planets simultaneously.
Venus and Jupiter are both in Cancer today, exactly conjunct. In traditional astrology these two are called the great benefics — the planets associated with ease, grace, and abundance. When they meet, there is a general assumption that something good is on offer. That assumption is usually correct. But it requires a little unpacking.
The conjunction itself is real. Two planets in the same degree means their energies are operating as one concentrated force. With Venus and Jupiter that force is genuinely warm — generosity, emotional openness, the sense that what you love and what you want to expand are moving in the same direction. In Cancer, both of those impulses are filtered through the sign’s deepest concerns: home, family, emotional security, the private self, the things you hold most carefully.
What Venus Conjunct Jupiter in Cancer Actually Feels Like
Cancer doesn’t do abundance the way Leo or Sagittarius does. It doesn’t broadcast. It gathers. Venus in Cancer wants to love what is close and known. Jupiter in Cancer wants to expand what feels like home. Together they produce something that feels less like windfall and more like warmth — the specific pleasure of having enough of what matters, in the company of people who matter.
Venus and Jupiter conjunct is always seductive. The risk isn’t that it lies to you. The risk is that it tells you what you want to hear — and Cancer, of all the signs, is most susceptible to confusing what feels good with what is safe, and what is safe with what is true.

The shadow of this conjunction is the Cancer shadow — the tendency to hoard what it loves and call it security. Jupiter expands whatever it touches, including the attachment. The question on a day like today is not whether good things are available. They are. The question is whether you can receive them without immediately building a wall around them.
The Complication: Saturn in Aries Square
What most coverage of this conjunction overlooks is that Saturn in Aries is squaring both Venus and Jupiter simultaneously. This is not a minor detail. Saturn in this position introduces reality, limitation, and the specific question it always asks: what of this can actually endure?
The square from Saturn doesn’t cancel the warmth of the Venus-Jupiter conjunction. But it does test it. It asks whether the emotional generosity of the day is built on something solid or something merely sentimental. Cancer at its best knows the difference. Cancer at its most defended confuses the two.
This is actually a more interesting configuration than a straightforward Venus-Jupiter conjunction would be. The Saturn square forces discernment — it asks you to distinguish between genuine nourishment and comfort eating, between a real connection and a familiar one, between what you actually want to expand and what you simply don’t want to lose.
How to Use This in Your Chart
Find where 25 degrees Cancer falls in your natal chart. The house that holds this degree is where the conjunction is concentrating its energy — and where Saturn’s square is simultaneously applying pressure.
If it falls in your 2nd house, the questions are about money, self-worth, and what you genuinely value versus what you’ve been holding onto out of habit. In the 7th, it’s about partnership — what you want to expand there, and what Saturn is testing about the durability of what you’re building. In the 4th — Cancer’s natural house — this conjunction is particularly potent, touching home, family, roots, and the private self directly.
Also note whether you have natal planets near 25 degrees of the cardinal signs — Cancer, Aries, Libra, or Capricorn. These will be directly activated. The Cancer planets feel the conjunction. The Aries planets feel Saturn’s simultaneous pressure. The Libra and Capricorn planets feel the opposition and square respectively — pulled between the warmth of the conjunction and the requirement that it prove itself.
Jupiter Leaves Cancer on June 29
Jupiter moves into Leo on June 29 — twenty days from today. This conjunction is one of its last significant acts in Cancer, the sign where Jupiter is exalted and most at home. Think of it as the culmination of everything Jupiter has been building in your inner world since it entered Cancer last year. The emotional growth, the expanded sense of what home and security mean, the way your relationship to nourishment has shifted. Venus is arriving to illuminate what that work has produced. What you find when you look honestly may be more substantial than you expected.
