Once again, the big message from the zodiac this week is, “Think carefully before you take action.” Most of the things in the sky that can be retrograde are retrograde this week. Although the conventional wisdom among astrologers is that retrogrades are a time to think things through before taking action, the problem with that is… ever tried yelling at a bus — that is about to hit you — that it should stop and think carefully before splattering you? And if so, how did that work out for you?
One of the few exceptions to the almost-everything retrograde that’s going on now is Mars in Gemini. That big retrograde isn’t happening yet, but Mars is slowing down in preparation for it. And in my experience, retrograde or not, a slow planet is a powerful one. Thus, you may be tempted to simply take out your aggression on someone or something that doesn’t necessarily deserve it, or that could use a lot more diplomacy. Keep in mind this also applies to potentially unwise sexual partnerships.
At least there will be some movement later in the week that will tend to make things a lot lighter and sweeter for all of us. On Thursday, Venus enters Libra. Of course by now you’ve all heard about the connection between romance and relationships and Libra. Although this is a love horoscope, I would like you to extend that concept to friends, family, and the community at large. And yes, that even includes those yahoos you argue with on social media.
This is not just because it’s a nice thing to do and a good idea in it’s own right. It’s also because that Saturn-Uranus square is grinding ever closer. And frankly, my friends, I’m worried that something is going to blow sometime soon. I’m not making any sort of dire prediction about the state of the world in general. Dire things happen in the world all the time. So take any astrological advice from your local Doomsday Peddler with a grain of salt.
No — I’m actually talking about me and why I’m ready to snap. It’s because Mars in Gemini is in the 12th house of my birth chart. You should have a look at your own birth chart and find whatever house Gemini is in, because that’s where the noise has been coming from for the last couple of months and it’s going to be yelling at you until next spring.
