Overview

The Sun crosses the Pisces South Node on February 21st, setting the stage for the Pisces eclipse. A spotlight shines on the past, making it immediate.

February 22nd brings a square between Mars in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn. Mars acts out Pluto’s deeper motivations, and the square creates tension. This is a forceful aspect, as instinct takes over and power is unbalanced. What’s acted out in the present will be based on the past.

February 25th sees Mercury’s Pisces ingress. Information and communication will be plugged into something universal. Logic will be replaced by intuition, and this ingress builds on the Sun/South Node conjunction. Mercury rules the Virgo North Node. You may end up piercing the illusions/secrets/dreams of the past, so you can find clarity for the future.

Watch for everything to fall into place on the February 26th New Moon Pisces eclipse. The eclipse, along with a Mars/Uranus conjunction (opposing Jupiter Rx) will fuse all the influences over the past few days in a bright flash. Endings and beginnings may be simultaneous, and Mars/Uranus/Jupiter adds urgency. A total reversal may spin you around and spit you out. After the dizziness subsides, welcome to your next chapter.

Events will happen quickly, and they will be the results of what’s been brewing for awhile (Mars/Pluto, Sun/South Node). The past and future could collide, but the future always takes precedence (especially with Uranus driving a New Moon). This eclipse will conjoin Neptune -the new possibilities could exceed your imagination, as long as you flush away the old stuff.

Aries

Mars in your sign squares Pluto in your career sector, triggering angry reactions to authority, power or oppression. Confrontations will be public, impactingyour professional image. Use caution when you push back. Too, your actions could be part of a significant transformation to your public identity, physical appearance or lifestyle.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your hidden sector whispers that there’s something less obvious to look at.  A background issue, secret or gut feeling will gain prominence, and the eclipse will bring it out into the open. Combined with Mars/Uranus in your sign opposing Jupiter Rx, new beginnings will hit unexpectedly. What you ignored or missed will become glaringly obvious. This could be the moment when it all clicks and you see what you’re getting -maybe more than you ever hoped for. Or, something/someone could exit abruptly. Relationship changes are a possibility, with complete reversals and extreme reactions.

Taurus

Mars/Pluto can stir up repressed anger or unconscious reactions. There’s something that can no longer be denied, and you may react before you’re fully aware of what you’re doing. Too, this could be your big push for progress or success.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your social sector alerts you to developments involving friends, group activities or you public image. A conversation or piece of news from the past could get the ball rolling, and the eclipse will push things over the edge. What’s private could go public, and public connections will be driven by background actions. A new friendship, group association or public launch can surprise you, and you may surprise everyone with your ambition or a push for freedom. An abrupt change in your routine or daily activities could be featured.

Gemini

Mars/Pluto suggests public outbursts, power struggles or arguments with friends/groups. The core issue will be much deeper that what you see on the surface, and it could stir up some powerful feelings involving loss, rejection or control. Obviously, you want to tread carefully with others, unless you’re itching for an intense confrontation.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your career sector can revive discussions with management about your future, your authority or your professional image. The eclipse will build on that, with new job developments (or a new job). Too, there could be a flash of insight about what you really want to do. Public reactions can contribute to events, with a sudden departure, rupture or action that propels you onto a whole new path. For some, an unexpected burst of ambition could put you exactly where you’re meant to be.

Cancer

Mars/Pluto indicates tense confrontations with those in authority, and/or a partner. Your push to succeed/advance may cause conflict with a partner. Or, you could feel pushed out of your comfort zone by someone with power. How will you respond? Your power and ambition will be in question.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your sector of opportunities can open your eyes to areas of exploration, learning or expansion that are ripe for further development. The eclipse adds to the excitement with a flash of possibility. New developments around travel, education, legal matters or publishing can come out of nowhere, but at the same time, you’ll feel like this is the perfect opportunity for you. There may be an abrupt career change, or alteration of your future trajectory – perhaps you hadn’t planned on this at all. Sometimes a shock is what’s needed to push you in a direction you wouldn’t normally consider. For some, a business launch or job search could pay off in unexpected ways.

Leo

Mars/Pluto can fire up your urge to explore, fight for a cause, or push for greater visibility. But it can also present challenges from outside sources, or push you into situations you’re not equipped to deal with. Travel, education, legal matters or publishing are areas of increased risk.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your sector of shared resources can start an intimate conversation or uncomfortable observation. It may be time to accept that there’s something you can’t have, or something you need to confront. The eclipse take things a step further, with debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy as areas of change. Forward movement, intensification, or deep realizations, will hit suddenly and leave you feeling out of control. Something hidden can be blown wide open. As uncomfortable as this will feel, know that you’re moving ahead, which is always the right direction.

Virgo

Mars/Pluto ups the intensity, anger or drive for control. A new attraction could have a profound impact, or issues in an existing relationship could heat up and unearth buried conflict/passion. A power struggle on the most intimate level could result. Financial matters can be all or nothing, as you’re pushed to address a debt, shortfall, or opportunity to invest. You may be tempted to push a situation (emotional or financial) to its limit – use caution, because there’s a risk of loss.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your partnership sector opens the lines of communication about an ongoing issue, or gets you thinking about how you relate (or give away your power). The eclipse will accelerate things, introducing you to a new, potential partner, closing the door on a past relationship, or pushing an existing relationship into the next stage. Events will happen quickly, and someone else may initiate the action. Whether you’re meeting someone new, or a partnership is progressing/ending, know that the flow of events is happening naturally. You can’t fix or direct things. In some cases, an unexpected challenge or competition will hit, triggering your sharpest, savviest strategies. Move away from what/who makes you feel drained, anxious, or less-than.

Libra

Mars/Pluto can trigger power struggles, competition or confrontations with another person. You may be pushed, and will have to decide if you’re going to push back. Tension or arguments in a romantic relationship may be rooted in family history, or ongoing domestic transformations.

Sun/south Node and Mercury into your sector of routine gets you looking at the nuts and bolts of work, daily tasks or heath. Reasons to get organized will be expanded on during the eclipse. You may have to let go of something, or leave a situation, to improve your health. Someone else may be the catalyst who triggers an overhaul of your routine. Either way, changes in your immediate environment are meant to take your habits or approach to service a step beyond where you are now. This could be the difference between going through the motions versus an upgrade. Mars/Uranus opposing Jupiter Rx in your sign suggests complete reversal in a relationship, or your reaction to someone.

Scorpio

Mars/Pluto can present challenges in your work environment, daily routine, health or diet. Your daily actions may be under fire, as you are pushed to do more, transform yourself, or serve someone else. You may have to decide if you current course of action is doable, or if it’s time to take back your power and strengthen yourself.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your sector of self-expression can bring creative inspiration, flirtatious contacts or good news. Your confidence to go public can be boosted, or you could reap the rewards of your creative efforts. The eclipse will hi-light this. A new romance, creative launch, performance or celebration are possibilities, but there is also some risk associated. You may feel like throwing yourself completely into a new situation. There’s certainly potential for success, but use some caution where your health and physical activity is involved. Remember your limits.

Sagittarius

Mars/Pluto can see you pushing for more attention, attraction, indulgence or success. You could be motivated to pursue someone, or risk it all (financially or emotionally) on an instinctive desire. There’s potential to get what you want, but you can also go too far. Jealousy could be at the root of your competitive urges. Dial it back a couple of notches and you should be ok.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your domestic sector hi-light family discussions, documents or information from the past. The eclipse builds on this, with an ending and new beginning. There may be a final discussion to wrap up, or paperwork to sign. Relocation, a home business, or issues dating back to childhood will be concluded, allowing you to start fresh. However, the pace of events could move more quickly than anticipated. A break with the past could be more of a *snap* and your actions will be powered by your drive for self-expression. This eclipse could signal a chapter that’s all about you, and what you need to be truly happy.

Capricorn

Mars in your domestic sector squares Pluto in your sign, suggesting surface domestic changes (or family arguments) will be connected to deeper issues within you. A desire for power or transformation can trigger physical changes or forceful actions. Power dynamics around the home may also be an issue.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your communication sector increases the flow of information, emails, phone calls or meetings. An idea or discussion that’s been in development may be ready to manifest. The eclipse suggests a specific conversation, contact or decision can hitunexpectedly, but you’ll know there’s no going back. Domestic documents involving a sale, relocation, or home business may be featured. Family discussions can be abrupt and uncompromising. Too, your decision about a domestic situation could accelerate the pace, due to a now-or-never feeling.

Aquarius

Mars/Pluto can trigger verbal confrontations, a verbal smackdown, or abrupt declaration. You’ll be feeling feisty, and your words will reflect this. But words/ideas will be based on hidden issues that you’re not fully conscious of. Pay attention to what pushes your buttons, because the root cause will go beyond what you see you on the surface.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your sector of personal resources gets you thinking about what you really need, financially and emotionally. The eclipse intensifies this, with surprising discussions about salary, an unexpected new source of income, or flash of clarity about what you value. You could surprise yourself with a decision to move on, relocate or demand more.

Pisces

Mars/Pluto prepares the groundwork for the upcoming eclipse with public efforts, or unusually potent actions. You may be challenged, or you could be the one doing the challenging. Either way, you’ll be ready to fight for what you need, because it will feel like your survival is at stake. Money, self-esteem and personal values are areas where you may feel pushed, pressured or threatened. Too, these could be areas where you experience a surge of ambition.

Sun/South Node and Mercury into your sign are the harbingers of the eclipse. Watch for a messenger, in the guise of specific person, idea or piece of information. This could be based in the past, or have a familiar vibe, even if the situation is brand new. The eclipse (and Neptune in your sign) can be your ultimate accelerant. What was on brew with Mars/Pluto will erupt, and the clarity, fresh purpose or surge of initiative can open up a whole new world. There’s opportunity and disruption – your security may be rocked, and finances could change dramatically. At the same time, your eyes could be opened to a new source of security, or a new way to feel better about yourself.

  • Jupiter Rx in Libra inconjunct Chiron in Pisces: 23 degrees
  • Sun in Aquarius sextile Saturn in Sagittarius: 25 degrees
  • Juno in Capricorn trine the Virgo North Node: 3 degrees

Jupiter Rx/Chiron suggests it will hurt to review a promise or hope. Or, doubts may trigger that review. Don’t attempt to gloss over the discomfort – it’s alerting you to an imbalance. But don’t overreact, either. A small adjustment will be all it takes to make you feel better.

Helping you deal with the above, Sun/Saturn offers stability. It encourages self-sufficiency, as Aquarius’ independence is supported by Saturn’s maturity. It also encourages calm authority and reliable friendships. There’s no grasping and no dramatics. Just an easy awareness of your responsibilities.

Juno and the North Node add more positive developments, as official contracts/commitments align with the future. But relationship progress will only happen if both parties are willing to work and improve. Serious, grounded unions are supported.

Overview

Happy Valentine’s Day. Jupiter Rx in Libra makes a doubtful inconjunct to Wounded Healer Chiron (in Pisces) on February 14th. Backtracking/revisions may bring you to an uncomfortable conclusion. More is not always better. Or, better can be undermined by lurking doubts.  Remember that Jupiter Rx in Libra is about rebalancing. Too much, too fast needs to be corrected. Slow down and take a breath. This isn’t a deal-breaker; you just need to pause and adjust. And there’s something to look forward to…

On February 16th. Mercury in Aquarius receives gentle initiative from Mars in Aries, via a sextile. Words and actions harmonize, and the message is delivered with ease. You can be assertive but non-threatening. You can launch a new idea that’s electric, but not too crazy.

February 18th sees the Sun’s Pisces ingress. Welcome to the season of flux. Nothing is forced in this sign. It happens on its own, or it doesn’t happen. Releasing may be easier than building during Pisces season. But this is also an expansive sign, so you can make room for something better.

Aries

Jupiter/Chiron can pinpoint background wounds about a relationship. Happy developments may raise hidden doubts. Or, a weak spot in a partnership ideal could be revealed. Acknowledge what hurts, but don’t give up hope – questions are part of the process.

Mercury in your social sector, sextile Mars in your sign, gives you a communication edge with friends, groups and the public. You’ll have the drive and opportunity to get your point across, and it should be well-received by others. Excellent for public statements or networking that requires a light but assertive touch.

As the Sun enters your hidden sector, you may become more aware of what goes on behind the scenes. Issues you’ve been avoiding, or things that are unproven, can make you uneasy. The solution is to pause and look at what’s not obvious. The unknown is less threatening when you shed light on it.

Taurus

Jupiter/Chiron can hi-light a flaw or discrepancy in your work/health routines. Recent changes in your work or daily life require a second look, and now you’ll encounter a disconnect between your efforts versus what others need. Too, comparisons can make you aware of what you have to refine/improve. Health/exercise may need some adjustments if you’ve been overdoing it (pushing too hard, or overindulging and doing nothing at all).

Mercury/Mars can clue you into a less obvious, but lucrative, job opportunity. An indirect approach, or inquires about an ultimate ambition that seems unrealistic, may net you surprising results.

The Sun into your social sector broadens your focus and goals. Success, career and status will matter less than your connections to others, and your personal goals. If you’re looking for work, or considering changing your career path, this influence can make ideals more important than a steady paycheque.

Gemini

Jupiter/Chiron can reveal a weakness in your push for self-expression/creativity. What you really desire will need to be rebalanced with your current career or professional image. You may discover that you don’t quite have what it takes to reach a goal (yet). Too, overindulgence, or an unwise risk, can have a negative impact on your professional life. Use tension to regroup, rebalance your efforts and sharpen your focus.

Mercury/Mars urges you to look at new options involving travel, education, legal matters or publishing. These areas can be energized with new plans, new contacts, and new things to learn. Someone could push you a bit further than you expected, but you’ll find that it’s an easy transition.

The Sun into your career sector hi-lights your future goals, professional image or relationship with management. You’re in the midst of unstructured change – your next step may not be clear, and what you need to keep or let go of may be up for questioning. This transit can provide moments of clarity – keep your eyes open.

Cancer

Jupiter/Chiron can trigger concerns about relocation, home expansion or growing your family. It may be time to reconsider plans to add more or move beyond your current situation. Too, recent growth might leave you feeling overwhelmed, even if events have been positive.

Mercury/Mars suggests career goals, or your approach to authority, can benefit from a behind-the-scenes investigation. Looking deeper, or communicating from a place of deep honesty (bringing up issues that have been avoided) will result in progress. Your professional actions will be fuelled by deeper strategies, but the message will be delivered in a non-threatening way.

The Sun into your sector of opportunities draws your attention to distant horizons, or new areas to explore. Travel, education, legal matters or publishing may be hi-lighted, as you consider how far you can go.

Leo

Jupiter/Chiron can trigger reconsideration of a big idea, promise or hope. Someone may change their mind, or backtrack on a statement. Too, you may be reconsidering this information in light of vulnerabilities around finances or intimacy.

Mercury/Mars can fire up relationship discussions. This energy is promising, and hints at more to do and explore and for you and someone else. This may be an initial conversation, where you both discover a shared love of travel, or a discussion in an ongoing relationship that gives you better ideas to work with.

The Sun into your sector of shared resources hi-lights what you share, what you can’t control and what you may have to release. Allowing certain events to develop in their own time, or letting go of habits that undermine your security, could be themes.

Virgo

Jupiter/Chiron can trigger relationship conflict or insecurities. Money or self-esteem issues can briefly flare up, as you review expenses, or expectations of what you’re entitled to. As you focus more closely on what you have, or what you have to gain, consider if your anxieties are based in reality.

Mercury/Mars sharpens your ability to improve, upgrade or handle an increased workload. You won’t just be working harder, you’ll be applying your smarts to daily tasks at work or home. Health and exercise routines can receive fresh initiative.

The Sun into your partnership sector illuminates issues of give and take. Whether you’re single or involved, you’ll become more aware of what you project (including illusions and anxieties) and what you need to let go of.

Libra

Jupiter Rx in your sign, inconjunct Chiron in your sector of routine, suggests the review or delay of an opportunity may be connected to a health or work issue. Taking on too much/too fast, could impact your energy levels. Or, a flaw related to organization/prioritization may be exposed. Keep in mind that opportunity is opportunity, no matter how you slice it. Look closely at what’s growing, and address any flaws. Rebalance your efforts, but don’t give up completely just because you’ve run into some difficulties.

Mercury/Mars can trigger flirtatious conversations/introductions. You may feel more assertive than usual and decide to make first contact with someone. In all one-on-one connections (platonic or romantic) your words will be well-received if you just say what’s on your mind. Don’t worry about how it will sound, or if you’re going to come off as too eager/weird/pushy/boring, etc.

The Sun into your sector of routine draws your attention to what you have to do versus what others want you to do. Obligations, to yourself and others, will be hi-lighted. It may be time to let go of tasks that were never your responsibility. Shifting priorities at work, and in your personal life, could be a theme as you let one thing go to make room for something better/healthier.

Scorpio

Jupiter/Chiron suggests background developments can unexpectedly trigger a doubt or insecurity. Something you want (in the areas of creativity, new romance or self-expression) may be up for questioning. Do you have what it takes to succeed/attract? Do you really want this? What if the answer is no? Allow yourself to work through uncertainties – there’s no rush.

Mercury/Mars can present new and positive solutions to domestic and family affairs. Family discussions, renovations, relocation or a home business can benefit from your efforts to take charge and push for improvements. The fix can be easily applied.

The Sun’s move into your sector of self-expression hi-lights personal goals, pleasure, celebrations or issues involving children/pregnancy. What you want, or what you’ve created, will be emphasized – depending on your chart, this could be a time to kick back and enjoy yourself, show off, or celebrate results.

Sagittarius

Jupiter/Chiron can make a public statement, group event or friendship a bit dicey. You may feel more exposed than you’re comfortable with. Or, an apparent opportunity could make you feel unprepared or insecure. Consider if pulling back and rebalancing your public efforts might help.

Mercury/Mars boosts your confidence to speak out, or celebrate what you’ve got to offer. Communication will be driven by your desire to go after what (or who) you want. Too, you could be the recipient of some charmingly assertive words.

The Sun’s move into your domestic sector increases your focus on home and family matters. Release of the past (including outdated roles of victim or martyr) may be themes. In mundane matters, this is a good time to attend to home improvements or early spring cleaning/purging.

Capricorn

Jupiter/Chiron can hi-light concerns about a career opportunity, new job or issue with management. Discussions or new information can reveal questions – take your time to sort through the facts. Too, more on your plate could prove stressful – is it time to rebalance your responsibilities?

Mercury/Mars puts discussions about earned money and personal values on your radar. Domestic/family issues will fuel your desire to talk about what you need, or what’s essential for day-to-day living. The energy is assertive, but with minimal conflict. You should be able to get your point across without having to lower the hammer.

The Sun into your communication sector illuminates the exchange of information. A specific discussion may take precedence, along with the need to let go, apologize or get the details on a vague issue. Too, you may find the overall pace of conversations, emails and phone calls increases. A sibling issue may also be hi-lighted.

Aquarius

Jupiter/Chiron can trigger second thoughts about travel, relocation, education, legal matters or publishing. The urge to explore/expand will have to be tempered with financial and security issues. You may not have enough (temporarily) to go as far as you want to. Too, you may need to rebalance the importance of money versus happiness, or risk versus reward.

Mercury in your sign is encouraged by Mars in your communication sector. You can get your message across with easy assertiveness – you won’t have to push. Just speak/write naturally, be honest, and watch how it flows.

The Sun into your sector of personal resources gets you looking more closely at what you have, what you need to save, and what isn’t worth keeping. Earned money, self-esteem and personal values may be in flux these days, and the Sun should illuminate key issues – consider if you’re clinging to something that used to make you feel safe, but now makes you feel insecure.

Pisces

Jupiter Rx in your sector of shared resources makes a tense inconjunct to Chiron in your sign. Reevaluation of shared finances or intimacy issues will trigger brief moments of doubt. You may be looking closely at a chance to invest more, take on a loan, or get closer to someone. Consider the balance of opportunity versus how vulnerable you’ll feel – it’s ok to back off for now while you decide if you’re ready.

Mercury/Mars offers a background nudge. Actions related to financial/emotional security may be inspired by a gut feeling or hard-to-define sense of possibility. Too, an unconfirmed idea may be energized (and confirmed) by external actions. Trust what happens naturally – this won’t require much effort.

The Sun into your sign can increase your sense of fate and possibility – you’re at the right place, right now. What’s meant to be will emerge easily and simply. What doesn’t belong to you will fall away, no matter how hard you try to maintain it.
