Overview
This week we continue the exchange between past and present.
The April 26th New Moon in Taurus presents a quietly solid new beginning that may refer back to April 20th. The conjunction between Mercury Rx and the Taurus Sun on that day planted some seeds of genuine understanding – real facts. The New Moon will build on those facts, giving you something reliable to work with. Growth will be slow but assured, if you keep it simple.
On April 28th, Venus returns to Aries (from Pisces) and Mercury Rx in Aries conjoins Uranus. Venus first entered Aries on February 3rd, but stationed Rx and then backed into Pisces. An issue that began on February 3rd (involving relationships, money, self-esteem or values) went through a long process of delays and questioning. April 28th can mark the conclusion to that process, with a side of clarity and surprise. Mercury Rx/Uranus suggest there’s more to discover with a second look or additional questions. And Venus suggests it may be sweeter than you anticipated. Even if the results aren’t entirely what you’d hoped for, know that this will be a chance to revisit something you wanted or loved, with a different attitude and fresh insight.
April 30th delivers an exact square between Saturn Rx in Sagittarius and Chiron in Pisces (Wounded Healer). The painful limits indicated by this aspect have been intensifying throughout April. As the square peaks, you may achieve a breakthrough as you finally deal with a weakness. Or, maybe you realize that you can’t fix it, and you move on. Note that Saturn symbolizes time (and maturity) – your uncomfortable reality could involve accepting that time is the healer. Sometimes there’s nothing you can do but wait (Saturn) for the pain to subside after you have confronted the wound.
After April 30th, it gets easier.
Aries
The New Moon in your sector of personal resources builds on financial or security-drivenbeginnings from April 20th. Seeds can be planted regarding earned money, new sources of income or how you handle budgets/spending. Too, this could be the time to firm up personal values and create an environment that’s supportive to your self-esteem.
Venus’s reentry into your sign, and Mercury Rx/Uranus in your sign, suggest an explosive conclusion to what’s been brewing since February 3rd. Now that you’ve said goodbye/made peace, you can accelerate with a renewed sense of what you want, and what makes you hot. A new opportunity may be accompanied by an abrupt announcement – you’re ready to declare yourself. Relationships, public image and self-esteem can receive an electric reboot.
Saturn/Chiron can release a hidden wound. Restrictions around travel, exploration, education, legal matters or publishing have triggered background insecurities or hurts. Now, you may discover a workaround, or find that the limit was not as bad as you anticipated.
Taurus
The New Moon in your sign is the next step in a process that began on April 20th. A new impulse, understanding or conversation can put you in a more stable position. There could be a lead that you’re following, or an idea that has potential to grow into something substantial.
Venus’ reentry into your hidden sector, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, clarify what you’ve been suspecting since February 3rd. A secret, background potential or flash of inspiration can reveal something that’s perfectly timed. Although you’re not ready to go public with this just yet, trust that you’re in the first stages of development.
Saturn/Chiron can help you move past a painful issue with friends, group associations, or your public image. By taking responsibility for personal boundaries or shared finances, you can confront issues of embarrassment or hurt feelings. Where you don’t belong/aren’t wanted, may also need to be dealt with. Attending to your obligations on a private level is essential for public healing.
Gemini
The New Moon in your hidden sector quietly confirms what was hinted at on April 20th. A background potential or gut feeling can solidify – trust that this is the start of something real, even if you can’t see it clearly yet. This can also manifest as an unproven but compelling feeling.
Venus’ return to your social sector, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, can reignite a friendship, group association or your public image. Reactions will be swift and uncensored, and it’s possible that you’ll make quite the impact. Networking or a public launch can also receive a second wind. Too, you may be surprised by an abrupt shift in a friendship (platonic to romantic or vice versa) even though the change has been brewing for a while. Look back to February 3rd for the seeds of current developments.
Saturn/Chiron can indicate a peak of frustration regarding personal and/or professional relationships. Your attempts to navigate conflicting goals, commitments and boundaries with another have stirred up doubts or helplessness. And while it’s true that your effectiveness has been limited, you should be be able to see around the corner after this aspect. Watch for a breakthrough – it won’t be win/win, but the pressure should ease up as you accept the limits you have to work with.
Cancer
The New Moon in your social sector can confirm what began around April 20th. A conversation, idea or new contact can solidify, as you gradually proceed with a sense of how to gain more value from a friendship, group association or public launch. This is about building something (with others) that will last.
Venus’ return to your career sector, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, can add new life to stale or dormant professional goals. Watch for improved relationships with those in authority, or a boost to your professional image. However, Uranus’ wild-card influence can work for or against you. On the plus side, a chance discussion can move things in a new, profitable direction. But something compromising can also be exposed. Look back to February 3rd for an idea of where things may be going.
Saturn/Chiron completes a stretch of doubts/insecurities about the future. Your faith has been tested, and your sense of adventure has been limited. Travel, long-distance issues, education, legal matters, exploration and publishing are areas where you may have experienced blocks. As this influence peaks, know that the test is almost over. Your attention to detail and adjustments to your routines will get you past this last challenge. As you move forward, consider how your daily obligations and priorities have been challenged.
Leo
The New Moon in your career sector builds on a key conversation/meeting from April 20th. Opportunities may not be showy, but there is something solid (involving your professional image, authority or relationship to those in authority) that can increase over time. Take it slow and look at the long-term picture.
Venus’ return to your opportunities sector, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, reignites something involving travel, education, long-distance romance, legal matters or publishing. Be on the lookout for the unexpected, especially if you thought this matter was closed (refer back to February 3rd). Luck could play a major role in any benefits you attract, but you’ll have to act quickly and take a chance.
Saturn/Chiron has delivered plenty of reminders of where you’ve been feeling less-than. Romance, shared finances or creativity might have exposed your vulnerabilities and tested your confidence. Well, you’ve come to the end of this test. A final burst of effort and focus may be called for, in order to prove that you’ve got what it takes. Or, it might be time to cut your losses. Saturn will make it very clear which track you’re on.
Virgo
The New Moon in your sector of opportunities offers you a platform to step out into the unknown. Gradual expansion is the key, and long distance travel, education, legal matters or publishing can benefit from your cautious but determined steps forward. April 20th may have introduced the first clue – now, you’re following up on what you learned.
Venus’ return to your sector of shared resources, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, suggests there are a few more surprises in the areas of debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. A surprise can be a good thing, as you discover there’s more love/resources than you anticipated. An abrupt conversation will cut to the heart of some sensitive issues, and show you exactly what you have to work with. February 3rd set these wheels in motion.
Saturn/Chiron has been pressing on a relationship sore spot for a while. Conflicts around commitment, domestic goals, family issues or mutual responsibilities have stirred up bigger worries about loss or rejection. Saturn urges you to keep this in perspective, while grounding yourself in the present. What do you have control over? Hint -it’s not your partner. Who are you responsible for? Again, not your partner. After this aspect subsides, you should experience a lessening of guilt and anxiety, especially if the two of you have agreed to disagree on certain issues, and you’ve tackled the work that you (and you alone) have to do.
Libra
The New Moon in your sector of shared resources can manifest as financial or emotional abundance. A new relationship or financial development will be solid – something you can depend on. It should also make you feel secure (discomfort is a sign that this is not for you). Think back to April 20th; a hint or conversation from that time can now lead to more.
Venus’ return to your relationship sector, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, can present a startling conclusion to an issue that’s been in the works since February 3rd. An ending or acceleration can hit quickly, with a surprising but honest conversation (or confession).
Saturn/Chiron helps you come to terms with a health or work problem. Pressure/discomfort involving medical issues, work tasks or responsibilities may have undermined your effectiveness and confidence over the past month. As you confront and surpass the peak of this influence, you’ll see exactly what you can fix, and what you have to accept as is. There may be relief as you let go of a responsibility, or accept a loss.
Scorpio
The New Moon in your partnership sector can confirm a relationship conversation that began on April 20th. Quiet commitments and practical understandings are emphasized over romance and flashy declarations. Consider the long-term value of what the other person is saying.
Venus’ return to your sector of routine, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, suggest a surprising reboot to a health or work issue (that began around February 3rd). Watch for a rapid readjustment of priorities and responsibilities. In work or personal relationships, you may be expected to quickly accept a new routine or task. Too, you may decide that the truth has to be spoken about what you will and will not do.
Saturn/Chiron marks the end of an ongoing, painful process involving children/pregnancy, new romance or creative work. Your financial and emotional resources have been tested, as you’ve struggled to work with less, or accept someone’s denial/rejection. Not fun, but now you can move past it, and in the process, congratulate yourself on developing self-sufficiency and grit.
Sagittarius
The New Moon in your sector of routine can nail down some information/solutions from April 20th. Health issues, work or obligations can progress slowly but surely, as youhave something concrete to work with. Also excellent for starting a new diet/exercise regime.
Venus’ return to your sector of self-expression, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, can bring surprising news involving children/pregnancy, a new attraction or creative work. What began around February 3rd may reenter your life, or accelerate in an unexpecteddirection. You may be caught off guard when you get what you want, attract something/someone surprising, or put yourself on the line and take that risk.
Saturn Rx in your sign has been stirring up family wounds, or domestic difficulties, with its square to Chiron. The past month may have been especially awkward, with reminders of what you’d like to forget. Or, difficulties taking on more (possibly thankless) responsibilities. And yet, there’s a specific issue that you must prepare for, or something from the past that you need to confront. You have to be the adult. As the square perfects and separates, the pressure should ease. Past issues can be resolved (but not solved – Chiron’s wounds never disappear) and you should feel better equipped to handle your new role. This may be a case of learning to live with something, or maturely accepting certain limits.
Capricorn
The New Moon in your sector of self-expression presents something solid and desirable. April 20th dropped the first hint about what that might be, and now developments involving a new attraction, children/pregnancy or creative work are off to a good start. Ground yourself in what you know you want or what you know you can do, and you’ll attract more.
Venus’ return to your domestic sector, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, can flip the switch on a domestic relationship, family dynamics or home improvements/home business. A project or issue that’s been on the back burner (since February 3rd) can be revitalized, thanks to an abrupt conversation or realization. The answer you’ve been waiting for can be delivered suddenly Or, you may be the one who decides that it’s time to put your cards on the table.
Saturn/Chiron has defined a doubt or sore spot, and talking about it may have made matters worse. Not everything can be resolved, and not everything is meant to be discussed. The good news is, that issue should start to fade. It may not vanish, but you can turn a corner where you accept what you have to let go of, or who you have to say goodbye to. It’s possible that all this is happening in the background – maybe no one knows the full extent of what you’re dealing with.
Aquarius
The New Moon in your domestic sector can help you put down roots, physically or emotionally. New developments may be quiet, but you can slowly build up your security as you centre yourself in what feels best for you. Developments with a home business, home renovations, relocation or family dynamics may be key, and will refer back to April 20th.
Venus’ return to your communication sector, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, suggest a conversation/email/phone call that delivers good news, although not in the way you expected. February 3rdfeatured delays or a change of heart about something you wanted, but now you should see progress. Too, you could decide that it’s time to take a bit of a risk and declare your intentions.
Saturn/Chiron has been emphasizing a lack of financial or emotional security. Not enough money, confidence or support has been a theme over the last month, as you struggled to reconcile new goals with old security needs. As the square passes, you should come to a realization that what works for others is not always in your best interests. You can feel relief as you release yourself from the obligations and expectations of others, while accepting that old financial/emotional goals are no longer valid.
Pisces
The New Moon in your communication sector brings a confirmation, based on a discussion/understanding from April 20th. Watch for solid intel, or a sense that what’s being said is the real deal. Too, it may be time for you to fully commit yourself, via a decision, answer or signed document.
Venus’ return to your sector of personal resources, and Mercury Rx/Uranus, can revitalize a financial or self-esteem issue. February 3rd might have brought delays or a shortfall, but now you could be surprised by a sudden surge of opportunity or confidence. Watch for developments with a previous source of income. In some cases, financial changes may feel destabilizing, but know that you’re being alerted to something better.
Saturn Rx in your career sector, square Chiron in your sign, has underlined an insecurity around success, career goals or authority. Over the past month, you may have been asked to step up and take responsibility when you’ve felt like you were in over your head. Or, frustrating blockages in your career may have had you questioning your entire future. As the square subsides, watch for a clearer understanding of what you’re capable of, and what you need to step away from.
