Mars’ Transit of Virgo: The Pursuit Of Perfection

pexels.com

Mars’ Virgo ingress takes place on September 5th at 5:34 AM EDT.

Actions can be productive or obsessive, depending on how the intense perfectionism is handled. Mars in Virgo can help you get organized and initiate solutions – you’re no longer just talking about making it better, you’re actually doing something. But if you get stuck in crisis mode (it’s all wrong, it’s too much, I’ll never be ready) this can be a panicky, unproductive time.

This is not your typical hot -tempered transit – Virgo is the “service sign.” But Mars in Virgo can trigger anger if a situation does not meet certain standards. Those standards can be sensible or irrational – as with all signs, Virgo’s energy runs the gamut. The healthy manifestation would look like a clean, empowering upgrade. Anger/frustration at falling short can fuel tremendous work (on yourself or an external goal). What’s wasteful or below par is ruthlessly cut out. This is how things get done, and done correctly. The unhealthy manifestation would involve sadistic insistence on an impossible-to-achieve standard. You end up punishing yourself or someone else, because of a microscopic flaw.

Virgo is about what’s missing and what’s not good enough. In this context, Mars is driven to find the elusive prize – just one more adjustment and you’ll find X or make it perfect. In all Mars matters (sex, action, initiation) this means technique over raw impulse. Every move is refined, and has a specific purpose. But it can also mean a fruitless pursuit of something better, when what you have is just fine.

Also on September 5th, Mercury (ruler of Virgo) stations direct at 28 degrees Leo, which is the same degree as the August 21st New Moon eclipse. There’s forward movement, as Mars carries an event from that eclipse into new territory. Now that you have all the facts, you can take targeted action. There’s nothing random about this – you must have a specific plan. The Virgo Sun opposes Neptune Rx in Pisces, which refers to the September 6th Full Moon. Even as you’re gearing up to do it right, something that’s beyond your control is flowing forward – an expansion or ending. Don’t worry about what you can’t control. Focus on what’s in front of you.

Here are the aspects Mars in Virgo will make:

  • September 10th: trine Juno in Capricorn (3 deg)
  • September 24th: opposite Neptune Rx in Pisces (12 deg)
  • September 26th: trine Pallas Rx in Taurus (13 deg)
  • October 1st: trine Pluto in Capricorn (16 deg)
  • October 5th: conjunct Venus (19 deg)
  • October 11th: square Saturn in Sagittarius (22 deg)
  • October 15th: opposite Chiron Rx in Pisces (25 deg)
  • October 17th: inconjunct Uranus Rx in Aries (26 deg)
  • October 18th square Black Moon Lilith in Sag (27 deg)
  • October 22nd: Libra ingress

Overview

September 5th sees Mars’ Virgo ingress and Mercury direct in Leo. Mars into a Mercury-ruled sign, on the same day as Mercury direct, emphasizes the theme of precise, informed actions based on a confirmation. Mercury will be at the same degree as the August 21st New Moon eclipse in Leo. Something from that date could finally progress. On September 9th, Mercury enters Virgo and strengthens the energy of analysis, problem-solving and critical communication. If you want to make it happen, Virgo is your key – do the work and get it right.

The September 6th Full Moon in Pisces conjoins Neptune and makes an inconjunct to Venus in Leo. What comes or goes will move naturally and will be unstoppable. You cannot control Neptune – the current flows as it’s meant to. Results could be expansive or disappointing, but either way, the tricky connection to Venus suggests a misalignment with certain desires.

Aries

Mars into your sector of routine, and Mercury direct in your sector of self-expression, gets you primed for a big splash, dating back to the August 21st New Moon eclipse. A new romance, creative work, celebration, hobby or issue involving children/pregnancy can finally move forward with practical, step-by-step actions. Now you know exactly what to do and how to do it. If events did not turn out as you’d hoped, you should already have a new iron in the fire. Mercury into your sector of routine adds more information and solutions for you to work with. It’s time to get down to business and make it happen.

The Full Moon in your hidden sector suggests the culmination/illumination of a dream or ultimate goal. Here’s something you’ve been working towards and hoping for – it will either manifest, or dissolve and reveal the truth behind the curtains. Idealistic romantic longings (whether you’re dealing with an actual romance or not) can result in some disappointment, but that doesn’t mean the dream itself is invalid. You may have to adjust your exalted desires, and let go of what’s not realistic. What’s left is yours.

Taurus

Mars into your sector of self-expression, and Mercury direct in your domestic sector, add fuel to creative work, a celebration, desire for freedom or issues involving children/pregnancy. What began during the August 21st New Moon eclipse can gain serious momentum -watch for a conclusive family discussion that says “Let’s do it.” Mercury into your sector of self-expression gives you the ideas to go along with your initiative – discussions will be a powerful mix of practical and romantic/creative.

The Full Moon in your social sector illuminates a public ideal or idealized friendship. What seemed like a good idea or wonderful cause may not quite turn out the way you wanted – someone may disappoint you, as they reveal their true nature. But did they promise you all that, or were you projecting your hopes? The truth that’s revealed may not be so bad. A public launch may fall short, or could be a misguided on a social level. But there’s still plenty of room to display your talents.

Gemini

Mars into your domestic sector, and Mercury direct in your communication sector, signal progress with a family/sibling issue, a home business or relocation. This will date back to the August 21st New Moon eclipse. The required information or agreement is finally in place, and you’re ready to take grounded action. Home improvements are also favoured. Mercury into your domestic sector helps you apply the above information in exactly the right place. Domestic documents, plans with a domestic partner or family discussions are emphasized.

The Full Moon in your career sector can expose an ideal, dream job or issue with someone in authority. Whether the ideal is met or undermined will depend on how connected to reality you’ve been. It’s also possible that deception or unprofessional behaviour is revealed. Even if the results are positive, certain attractive assurances may not come through. There could be an unspoken promise that simply isn’t met, regarding the details of a job, discussion with management or your professional image.

Cancer

Mars into your communication sector, and Mercury direct in your sector of personal resources, help you nail down a financial or self-esteem issue that’s been in the works since the August 21st New Moon eclipse. The lucrative opportunity, ambition for more or new source of income can now manifest with your assertive words and focused communication. You know what you want – it’s time to make those thoughts a reality. Mercury’s move into your communication sector supports financial agreements/discussions, detailed paperwork, precise communication and targeted business research.

The Full Moon in your opportunities sector can open up something more in the areas of travel, education, legal matters or publishing. Expansion into a whole new area is possible. Or, there could be an official result/graduation that signals the manifestation of your greatest ideal. However, there is also a risk of overspending or placing all your hopes into this one outcome. What’s happening is positive, but it won’t bring you unending happiness. Ground your perspective and watch your money (especiallyif legal issues are involved).

Leo

Mars into your sector of personal resources, and Mercury direct in your sign, get you motivated regarding money and baseline security needs. The August 21st New Moon eclipse in your sign may have triggered a desire or opportunity – now you can take action and make it happen. Earned money, salary discussions, new sources of income and doing what’s best for you are all favoured. Mercury’s move into your sector of personal resources can see you signing financial documents or itemizing your essential requirements, on a personal or professional level.

The Full Moon in your sector of shared resources can open up deeper intimacy between you and someone special. It can also open up buried issues around money, or memories from the past. The urge to give/sacrifice everything may be strong, but the inconjunct to Venus in your sign is a warning to maintain some boundaries. Giving more will notresult in supreme happiness, and someone else may not have the same idea about intimacy as you do. There is also a risk of overspending. When in doubt, consider that this is not just about your wants, and efforts that are focused solely on what you desire can actually undermine or dissolve it.

Virgo

Mars into your sign, and Mercury direct in your hidden sector, say it’s go time for a project, relationship or lifestyle change. What began around the August 21st New Moon eclipse is now ripe for action. A background potential can go public, and you’ll have increased confidence and motivation. Mercury’s move into your sign will add crucial information and strategies. There’s nothing holding you back.

The Full Moon in your partnership sector can hi-light a relationship ideal, area of sacrifice or unconditional love. A union may dissolve. Or, it could reach new heights, with increased forgiveness and shared empathy. However, even if things move in a positive direction, there may be some disappointments as an unspoken desire proves to be unrealistic. The way to counteract this is to be honest about what you want. You may not get it, but at least everything will be out on the table. In some cases, this Moon could illuminate the illusion behind a secret attraction.

Libra

Mars into your hidden sector, and Mercury direct in your social sector, can convince you to pull back or hide your intentions, due to some public clarification (regarding friends, groups or your public image). What began during the August 21st New Moon eclipse will now be confirmed, along with your sense that there’s more going on behind the scenes. Mercury’s move into your hidden sector can strengthen your intuition and investigative abilities. Now is not the time to act openly, but it is the time to dig deeper.

The Full Moon in your sector of routine can hi-light a work or health issue that doesn’t quite achieve what you’d hoped for. Promises of assistance may fall through, or you may discover that your efforts are not being recognized. Someone else may take credit for your work. On the plus side, this energy could dissolve a worry, area of stress or excessive responsibilities – you may not have to take on everything, after all.

Scorpio

Mars into your social sector, and Mercury direct in your career sector, can activate your ambitions or a business launch. Potentials that first came to light during the August 21st New Moon eclipse can manifest, as you move forward and reach out to others. You could also see results from a job search or bid for a contract. Mercury’s move into your social sector boosts your networking and strategic conversations.

The Full Moon in your sector of self-expression suggests a culmination connected to performance, creative work, a new attraction or children/pregnancy. The longed-for result could manifest, or the misguided projection could be revealed as nothing more than a beautiful illusion. Positive or negative outcomes depend on your existing relationship with the public, or your grasp of reality in a personal situation. Either way, there will be a disconnect between personal ambitions, and these results. If you were hoping for fame, glory or increased status/money, there will be some disappointment. This was never just about making you look good (although that could be a side benefit).

Sagittarius

Mars into your career sector, and Mercury direct in your sector of opportunities can encourage you to push forward with a travel, education, legal or publishing idea. Watch for progress in all professional matters, including dealing with management. The August 21st New Moon eclipse would have introduced you to this potential, and now you’re applying it to your professional future. Mercury’s move into your career sector can present you with effective strategies for dealing with someone in authority, making your case or fine-tuning your business efforts.

The Full Moon in your domestic sector can illuminate an issue with family/from childhood, or a current matter involving a domestic partnership, home business or issues with the structure of your home. Dissolving or weakening may be themes, perhaps due to illness or flaws in the physical foundation of your home. Too, there could be chance to expand on something hopeful for the future, but first you’ll have to release something from the past. There’s a promise of growth/something to look forward to, but certain aspects of this promise will not live up to reality. You may have overestimated how far you can go. If you’re disappointed with the results, try focusing on healing issues in the present, or dealing with any weaknesses in your foundation.

Capricorn

Mars into your sector of opportunities, and Mercury direct in your sector of shared resources, encourages you to expand/explore in the areas of long-distance travel, education, legal matters or publishing. Your efforts in new areas will be fuelled by a deeper understanding of financial or hidden issues. As Mercury enters your opportunities sector, you can apply what you learned or researched to the bigger picture. These events will refer back to the August 21st New Moon eclipse.

The Full Moon in your communication sector presents an answer, decision or promise with seemingly endless potential. Or, what you learn may end up being anti-climactic, as the Big Event fizzles into nothing. Either way, misaligned financial or emotional wants will contribute to disappointment or overinflated expectations. A truth may be revealed, and the reality may be far different from what was presented. On the plus side, results could indicate a creative launch/publication, a shot of inspiration or healing conversation.

Aquarius

Mars into your sector of shared resources, and Mercury direct in your partnership sector, suggest that a relationship discussion or confirmation of information can take matters a step deeper. Intimacy, shared finances or buried issues may be activated. Look back to the August 21st New Moon eclipse to see when this first developed. As Mercury enters your sector of shared resources, the conversation will continue and intensify, as you confront deeper truths.

The Full Moon in your sector of personal resources can present results involving earned money, self-esteem or personal security. There may be a release, dissolution or opening up of greater potential. Whether there’s a loss or gain, accept the results for what they are – you can’t cling to what’s fading, and you can’t force specific results. What’s yours will flow into your life. Even with a gain, there may be moments of disappointment, as someone’s response doesn’t match what you were hoping for. A relationship could reveal what’s missing, or what was never there. However, it’s important to take stock of what’s emerging – it may not be what you had in mind, but it could still be quite good.

Pisces

Mars into your partnership sector, and Mercury direct in your sector of routine, can accelerate a relationship. Confirmation about a work, health or routine issue could be the trigger for a next step (together or apart). Balanced give and take (being recognized for your help) may be a theme. These issues will refer back to the August 21st New Moon eclipse. Mercury’s move into your partnership sector can open up practical lines of communication.

The Full Moon in your sign can raise your anxiety about what’s missing or not good enough. What you were hoping for from another (esecpailly practical help or solutions) may not come through. Or, what you get may be confusing. Try to suspend expectationsand remain open to whatever happens. This Moon can emphasize a loss, feeling of disillusionment or new freedom, as you realize that certain things are beyond your control.

August 31st, 2017: Find The Flame

John William Godward

John William Godward

  • Mercury Rx enters Leo
  • Saturn in Sagittarius square Vesta in Virgo: 21 deg
  • Saturn in Sagittarius inconjunct Ceres in Cancer: 21 deg
  • Vesta in Virgo sextile Ceres in Cancer: 21 deg

Mercury retrograde reactivates issues from July 24th-25th, 2017 (when it was last exiting Leo). It’s time to revisit the fire at the heart of your idea. Does it still bring you joy? It may also be time to revise a creation, or your approach to a new romance.

Saturn’s hard aspects to Vesta and Ceres suggest pressure around an area of focused nurturing. Family responsibilities or legal issues may create resentment, as you’re pushed to care for someone or take on more than you want to.

The easy sextile between Vesta and Ceres is your solution. Despite the pressure, there’s an opportunity to harmonize nurturing with devotion. Saturn’s responsibilities cannot be shrugged off, and nurturing resentment only makes them feel heavier. If you have to do it, pour all your energy into it and make it sing. Find the flame at the core of the responsibility. This could be what Mercury Rx’s return to Leo is about.

Full Moon in Pisces: Beautiful Dream

John William Godward

John William Godward

The September 6th Full Moon (13 degrees Pisces) conjoins Neptune Rx (12 degrees). There’s potential for a dream or deception to be illuminated, depending on what’s led up to this result.

Moon/Neptune can be a lovely, expansive culmination that keeps on growing. Neptune’s association with the ultimate means this could be THE result you’ve been waiting for. Endless creativity or romance. Unconditional compassion and healing. The results could ripple outwards and impact the masses – great for reaching as wide an audience as possible.

Moon/Neptune can also be a delusional, sulking mess. What you end up with could disappoint, as the Virgo polarity punctures Pisces’ bubble with hard facts. Or maybe you just slide into the victim zone.

I’ve described two exaggerated scenarios. The reality will probably lie somewhere in between, esecpailly since this Moon makes a confusing inconjunct to Venus in Leo (13 degrees). There will be a rather exalted desire – a glittery and beautiful person/goal that you’re coveting. What you get may not be what you were hoping for, as the golden shell is peeled back to reveal something less attractive. But that doesn’t mean it will be a total fake. Reality rarely stacks up to the movie version, but there could be something solid beneath the shine.

Or, you really could end up with a total fake. Much depends on how far from reality you’ve drifted. Remember that Neptune is never just about you or your desires. You’re more likely to be disappointed if you’ve been grasping for something subjective and personal. Neptune is transpersonal-look beyond what you want.

No matter what happens, this Moon will be slippery and ultra-sensitive. No boundaries means it’s high tide for psychic or creative work. If you’ve been wanting to dissolve limits, this is your Moon. If you need a time out to rest, drift, heal…this is your Moon. But if you’re emotionally vulnerable, prone to addictions or confidence-sucking attractions, stay grounded and stick with what you know is healthy. Even if that’s a tad boring. It will be too easy to lose it all, as Neptune dissolves your self-control along with those boundaries.

Be smart about this one. You know what works for you, and what doesn’t.

Overview

Mars conjoins the Leo North Node on August 27th, which will be a prompt (via action, anger or passion) to move forward- the next step will be yours, if you want to make it happen. And that next step should take you in the right direction.

Mercury Rx returns to Leo on August 31st. Mars trines Uranus Rx in Aries on September 2nd, and then conjoins Mercury Rx in Leo on September 3rd. Moving forward will be enabled by the courage to take risks or do it differently, but the Rx status of Mercury and Uranus indicates a renewed surge of energy for something from the past. This will be a second attempt, or a review that’s energized with purpose. These aspects will take place at 28 degrees Leo, which is the same degree as the August 21st Solar Eclipse:

“This eclipse is hooked into Mercury retrograde. Mars in Leo will re-activate 28 degrees on September 2ndand will conjoin Mercury Rx on September 3rd. Mercury will station direct at 28 degrees Leo on September 5th. August 21st’s new beginnings may not achieve full momentum until September 5th, when the final decision is made, or all the information is in front of you. Mars will add an insistent shove (an argument?) or added courage to say what you really need to say.”

Aries

Aspects to Mars in your sector of self-expression (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) can trigger a renewed surge of confidence, passion or initiative to pursue what/whom you want. The trine to Uranus Rx in your sign says that your actions are aligned with your desire for change or risk – if you want to show off your talents, go public or put more energy into something you’ve been creating, now’s the time.

Mercury Rx’s return to your sector of self-expression urges you to take a second look at a desired goal. Delays are meant to focus your attention on what truly ignites your passion. In some cases, you may get a second chance – a romantic attraction can be reignited. Second thoughts about what you want can propel you in the right direction, and events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse. Performance, artistic work, new romance, celebrations or children/pregnancy are emphasized.

Taurus

Aspects to Mars in your domestic sector (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) can energize a home or family issue that’s been delayed or subject to long discussions. Watch for a gut feeling that changes are unfolding as they should, even if some arguments or breakdowns are involved. A heated discussion may be exactly what’s needed to break away from stagnant dynamics.

Mercury Rx’s return to your domestic sector suggests a temporary return to the past, or a reconsideration of family issues, before you can move forward. This time, going back can uncover some valuable information that’s motivating. Can you say it differently this time? Domestic partnerships, relocation, a home business or children/pregnancy may be themes – events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Gemini

Aspects to Mars in your communication sector (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) can fuel an idea, conversation or decision. Reaching out to others/going public is favoured, and there may be an “a ha” moment when information clicks into place. Excellent if you want to move forward with a plan, area of study or piece of writing.

Mercury Rx’s return to your communication sector suggests revisiting an idea or conversation (including a discussion with siblings). Second thoughts, or asking again, can open up something exciting. Too, you may notice a crucial piece of information that you previously overlooked. Events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Cancer

Aspects to Mars in your sector of personal resources (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) can put you on track for positive career and financial developments. Changes in your professional life can support your increased ambition to earn more, pursue an increase in salary or an innovative source of income. This will not be a new development – you’ve been pondering it for some time. If you want more, or want to be paid what you’re worth, it’s up to you to make it happen.

Mercury Rx’s return to your sector of personal resources suggests a return to a financial discussion, or a second look at how/where you earn your money. Reconsidering certain financial terms can boost your confidence about asking for more or moving forward with professional goals.  Events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Leo

Aspects to Mars in your sign (including the conjunction with the North Node) can urge you forward along a path you’ve been considering for awhile. A door is standing opening, and it requires your courage, initiative and willingness to take a few risks. Mars will encourage you to follow your passion, express your talent and pursue what’s right for you.

Mercury Rx’s return to your sign can see you revisiting some information and deciding that there’s more merit than you originally thought. Or, you may give something one last shot and discover that all you needed to do was insist or make your demands clear.  Events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Virgo

Aspects to Mars in your hidden sector (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) can clue you in to a gut feeling, background potential or ultimate goal that’s taking shape. Actions may be private or indirect, but there should be a sense of effortlessness – you won’t need to push if this is meant to happen. Watch for changes on a deeper level, via psychological prompts or growing determination to break away from undermining habits. Finances and intimacy can benefit.

Mercury Rx’s return to your hidden sector suggests you’ll be pulling back to regroup or reconsider what needs to be corrected. Turning your attention inwards and not giving an answer can benefit you, as you become aware of the ultimate truth. Too, you may change your mind about a plan, and redirect that energy.  Events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Libra

Aspects to Mars in your social sector (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) suggest a significant meeting or public event. Your public image, and relationships with friends/groups will experience a resurgence of activity that points you towards a developing prospect. A public launch, promotion or your involvement in a cause can receive a second wind. One-on-one relationships can benefit as well. Watch for a specific person to reappear or trigger your renewed initiative.

Mercury Rx’s return to your social sector indicates that you’ll be revisiting a public discussion/plan, or reconnecting with a friend. Too, you may be taking a second look at who’s most important to you, or who notices/supports your efforts. Is it time for recognition from others? Events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Scorpio

Aspects to Mars in your career sector (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) can reinvigorate a past career goal, job or your professional image. It may be time to take another crack at that future goal or business angle – your ambitions are on target. The key is aligning your big-picture efforts with daily routines and work tasks – an ongoing change in these areas can be lucrative for you.

Mercury Rx’s return to your career sector can indicate a repeat discussion with management, a renegotiation of a contract or second thoughts about a career goal. All reviews, questions and repeat discussions will be in your best interests, as your ambitions are reignited. Or, someone in authority may be more receptive to your efforts, this time.

Sagittarius

Aspects to Mars in your sector of opportunities (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) can propel you forward into something promising. Travel, education, legal matters or publishing may be areas where you’ve encountered delays or second thoughts. Now you should experience a renewed sense of purpose and confidence, as your future path opens up. Fighting for a cause that’s important to you may also be a theme.

Mercury Rx’s return to your opportunities sector suggests revising or questioning the details in the above areas. Returning to a previous legal decision, or having that conversation one more time can inspire you to keep moving forward. A change in travel or education plans can work in your favour. Events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Capricorn

Aspects to Mars in your sector of shared resources (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) suggests that a second look at debts, taxes, loans, you partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy will require courage and initiative, but the results should be worth it. Someone else may be calling the shots, and you might feel pressured. Too, you could decide to push back. A passionate and/or angry discussion can trigger major progress.

Mercury Rx’s return to your sector of shared resources suggests that asking the uncomfortable questions again, or taking a deeper look at financial details, will be crucial. You may need to revise your financial strategies, or get to the truth about what’s really going on with your partner. Events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Aquarius

Aspects to Mars in your partnership sector (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) suggest a reconnection with a past romantic interest, a meeting with a significant new attraction or a prompt that pushes you to approach one-on-one relationships in a new way. No matter which scenario you encounter, the trigger will be another person who challenges you. Even if you’re taking a second crack at a situation, or wrapping something up, the process of review can open up a new chapter in your love life.

Mercury Rx’s return to your partnership sector indicates a return to a previous conversation/argument, or a second look at certain relationship goals. Someone may approach you for a second or third time – even if you’re not interested, pay attention tothe feelings they stir up. If you experience a yearning for something better, know that this is your prompt to align yourself with that future. Events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Pisces

Aspects to Mars in your sector of routine (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) can encourage you to try harder or revise your work/health efforts. A task, medical issue or problem may need one more push so you can uncover the solution. A breakthrough or improvement may be just around the corner. Too, your approach to daily responsibilities may be ready for a complete overhaul.

Mercury Rx’s return to your sector of routine suggests that a review of work methodologies, priorities or diagnoses can open up a more energetic approach. The need to go back and correct can open your eyes to something essential.  Events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Venus’ Transit of Leo: Look At You

Alexander Roslin

Alexander Roslin

Venus enters Leo on August 26th. Relationships, money and self-esteem issues take centre stage – what you want can become a point of pride or a cry for attention.

Venus in Leo asks you to put your wants first. Do you feel beautiful? Does your relationship make you feel special? What makes you happy should also boost your confidence. Maybe it’s time for you to receive that reward for everything you’ve done. Look at you!

There’s nothing subtle about this transit – it’s about creating something that brings you joy. It’s about being recognized and feeling like you’re the best. Now is not the time to be humble or tone down the colour. Venus in Leo is bold, vibrant and loud.

If you’re not feeling proud or joyful, Venus in Leo can emphasize what’s missing. Rather than looking outside yourself, consider why you may feel less than loved or appreciated. You’ve probably read this so many times that it’s a cliché, but nobody is going to appreciate you if you don’t appreciate yourself. During this transit, you attract by putting yourself first. This is not the same as putting others down. It’s about pure confidence and dignity – you know you deserve the best, and that knowledge radiates outwards.

Healthy Venus in Leo is generous and loving with others, because she knows she’s all that. She attracts praise naturally – there’s more than enough to go around. Distorted Venus in Leo stamps her feet and demands attention, because she’s not proud of who she is and requires a constant stream of reassurance.

Here are the aspects Venus in Leo will make:

  • Aug 28th:inconjunct Juno in Capricorn (2 deg)
  • Sept 5th: inconjunct Neptune Rx in Pisces (12 deg)
  • Sept 6th: square Pallas in Taurus (14 deg)
  • Sept 9th: inconjunct Pluto Rx in Capricorn (16 deg)
  • Sept 12th: trine Saturn in Sagittarius (21 deg)
  • Sept 14th: conjunct the North Node (23 deg)
  • Sept 14th: trine Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius (23 deg)
  • Sept 15th: sextile Jupiter in Libra (24 deg)
  • Sept 17th: inconjunct Chiron Rx in Pisces (26 deg)
  • Sept 18th: trine Uranus Rx in Aries (27 deg)
  • Sept 19th: Virgo ingress
