October 11th, 2017: Lilith Versus The Virgin

Angelo Caroselli

Angelo Caroselli

  • Venus in Virgo inconjunct Uranus Rx in Aries: 26 degrees
  • Venus in Virgo square Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius: 26 degrees
  • Uranus Rx in Aries trine Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius: 26 degrees
  • Mars in Virgo square Saturn in Sagittarius: 22 degrees

BML is agitating (in all her outcast glory) with an enabling trine to Uranus. This aspect encourages taboo and disruptive women’s issues – freedom for whatever makes the patriarchy and polite society uncomfortable.

And this energy will be at odds with polite society, due to the square between Venus and Lilith. Specifically, Virgo’s ultra-correct expression of female energy. Here is the clichéd good girl/bad girl dichotomy – Virgo’s purity versus Sagittarius’ wildness. And Uranus will make things difficult for poor Venus, as he jolts her with panicky reminders that this scenario is messy.

The above could manifest as an internal struggle: you’re stuck between the obligation to be “good” versus rabidly honest. Or, someone may play the Venus role, with you as Lilith (or vice versa). Both sides have merit. Venus asks why BML insists on ignoring certain facts in her lust to be recognized. Parts of the real story (the dry but important parts) may be glossed over. Lilith asks why Venus is so insanely critical, neurotic and repressive. Why is it unclean to break the rules?

Mars will be zero help. He’s locked in a battle with Saturn – restricted actions, repressed anger and oppressive responsibilities.

Overall, today’s vibe is clamped down and judgemental. Something/someone is struggling to come out, but there will be a host of rules, picky details and critiques to navigate. As oppressive as those rules and details will be, they cannot be ignored. There’s work (Mars/Saturn) to do, even if you want to rebel.

Jupiter In Scorpio: It’s Getting Darker

Goya

Jupiter’s transit of Scorpio (October 10th, 2017 – November 8th, 2018) will take expansion to a new level. The sign associated with sex, death, taboos and transformation will be hit with a depth charge. All sorts of dark stuff will rise to the surface. Internal growth will be the theme – the growth of buried issues, secrets and inner power.

Scorpio is about extremes. Is ___ forbidden? Great! Scorpio wants the truth that lies beyond the fears, and sometimes this means burning the whole thing to the ground and rising from the ashes. Ultimately, Scorpio wants you to come out stronger, because you’ve faced The Worst. You gain power by losing it – you confront your limits, allow something to die, and become empowered by moving through the whole experience and learning from it. Jupiter may initially expand The Worst, so you can no longer deny it. You’ll be taken to your limit, as Jupiter encourages addiction, obsession or destructive behaviour.

Problems will arise if you get stuck in the “burn it down” phase. If you don’t have a strategy for moving on, Jupiter in Scorpio can become the whirlpool that sucks you in.

However, for some, there may be no showdown with the Shadow, just a massive hit of success based on some previously intelligent moves (regarding finances or security needs). Scorpio is about resourcefulness, and when its energy is used properly, there can be an increase (Jupiter) in personal power.

Many people associate Taurus with all money matters, but Scorpio is about what you share with others. This includes other people’s money. So this transit may bring big financial gains or losses. How have you been spending/investing, in the context of what you owe or share? Does someone else hold the purse strings?

And of course, Scorpio is about sex. More precisely, merging with another. What is gained or lost during intimacy (including control) will be important. This transit may bring more sex. But. Will more sex be about you trusting and exploring taboos in a healthy, consensual way? Or will it be a compulsion that takes you down a dark road? In both scenarios, you give up your power. I’m sure you can figure out which is healthier.

Consider the positives and negatives of Scorpio. Then, imagine these things getting bigger.

Healthy Scorpio

  • courage gained from confronting ugly truths
  • fearless intimacy and passion with no limits
  • uncovering layers of inner strength
  • transformation after hitting bottom
  • savvy management of shared financial resources

Unhealthy Scorpio

  • manipulation
  • remaining stuck in habitual dark dramas
  • hitting bottom and staying there
  • attraction to destructive people/situations
  • more debt

Whatever happens, Jupiter in Scorpio wants you to give it your all. Total commitment. This is how you will capitalize on any successes that come your way. And this is how you will make your way forward if things get ugly.

This doesn’t mean losing all sense of self-preservation and destroying yourself (unless you really want to). It means total commitment to looking at the secret, speaking the unspeakable, owning your Shadow or allowing the rotting situation to die. Then, you’ll swim to the surface.

  • Sun in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn: 16 degrees
  • Mercury in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn: 16 degrees

Pluto is the dark undercurrent behind Sun/Mercury’s social facade. The tension of the square suggests compulsive digging for information, or manipulative conversations that are polite on the surface with hidden agendas underneath. Social and relationship truths will surface.

Pluto adds significant power to what’s being said or revealed. The seemingly casual remark will have a strong (possibly hostile) impact, and if you’re not aware of what’s actually driving the discussion, you will be unprepared. This is true whether you’re delivering or receiving the message. Stay alert, read between the lines, and think carefully before you speak up.

This is part of yesterday’s superior Sun/Mercury conjunction

Overview

October 8th features a superior conjunction between the Libra Sun and Mercury. This is a culmination In the Sun/Mercury dance. The last conjunction (when Mercury was Rx in Virgo) occurred on August 26th, and marked the start of the cycle. These two dates may be connected.

October 9th sees Sun/Mercury square Pluto in Capricorn, which will make this culmination particularly intense. The answer or result will involve a struggle for control, for truth or the assertion that one person is right. But the struggle may be covert, with pleasant words and smiles on the surface.

October 10th sees the start of Jupiter’s one-year transit of Scorpio. Jupiter’s expansion in this all-or-nothing sign can open up extreme behaviour, obsessions or success. Jupiter will amplify existing potentials, so much depends on what’s happening in the Scorpio-occupied house(s) of your chart. Either way, this is not a light-hearted transit: total commitment is demanded. To make the most of it, be prepared to honestly acknowledge your Shadow and aim to dedicate yourself to something healthy and empowering. This applies whether you’re exploring ugly issues (sometimes this is necessary in order to regenerate) or growing your financial and emotional power. The key is understanding the difference between Scorpio’s healthy (courage, authentic power) and distorted (manipulation, wallowing in self-destruction) sides.

Venus in Virgo squares Saturn on October 8th, opposes Chiron on October 10th, and Mars in Virgo squares Saturn on October 11th. Mars then opposes Chiron on October 15th. These aspects can be particularly challenging, as what you want (Venus) and what you do to get it (Mars) triggers wounds and limits. The flaw or lack of something will be hi-lighted, and there will be no quick fix. It’s important to acknowledged what’s broken while understanding that the path to improvement may involve moving on, forgiving, or stepping away entirely. An opposition between Mercury in Libra and Uranus Rx (also on October 15th) coincides with the Mars/Chiron opposition – painful actions and shocking words will make for a tricky combo.

On October 14th, Venus enters Libra, the sign she rules. This can smooth some of the aboveedges, as relationships and all social interactions get a shot of diplomacy and cooperation. Various aspects to Venus will also emphasize existing imbalances, but in general, this transit can make it easier to relate, say the nice thing (rather than the right thing) and smile (even if you don’t feel like it).

Aries

Sun/Mercury in your partnership sector square Pluto, delivering a challenging relationship answer or powerful understanding that reveals deeper power dynamics. Competition or manipulation may come to light through tense conversations. This can involve a personal or business partnership.

Jupiter into your sector of shared resources can build on the above, as uncomfortable discussions trigger developments in the areas of debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. Positive and negative potentials in these areas will grow. This means there could be more debt(if spending is not under control) or the discovery of hidden resources. Intimacy can increase, but so can jealousy and possessiveness. Much depends on what’s happening beneath the surface, and how you approach matters involving sharing, merging and relinquishing control.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your sector of routine can trigger hidden wounds and vulnerabilities. Work or health can be compromised by what you’re ignoring or not fully aware of – added pressure may limit your actions while adding extra work –  make an effort to fully acknowledge what’s going on behind the scenes. While there’s no immediate fix available, you can prioritize what can be improved, and what you have to let go of. Mercury’s opposition to Uranus in your sign will make it impossible to avoid the above issues, as an abrupt announcement or clarification draws your attention to what’s broken or ineffective. Work relationships or a partnership imbalance may be themes.

Venus’ move into your relationship sector can provide some relief, with an increase incooperation and your ability to attract.

Taurus

Sun/Mercury in your sector of routine square Pluto, uncovering an imbalance at work, or a flaw in your work habits/solutions. Too, you could be presented with challenging information about health. Added pressure to deliver an answer/solution can create anxiety, especially if your methods are challenged. Use the tension to focus on what can be improved – now’s the time to make effective corrections.

Jupiter into your partnership sector can expand an existing relationship, or trigger a new one. Profound intimacy and deep honesty are some of the developments you have to look forward to, as long as you’re ready to dive beneath the surface and embrace everything (good, bad and ugly). If an existing relationship is ready to end, this transit could open the exit doors for both of you. This is more likely if one or both partners need more intensity or authenticity.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your sector of self-expression can reveal an insecurity or failure in the areas of new romance, artistic creation or performance. Putting yourself out there may not be as successful as you’d hoped, and you may find that your actions are limited by financial constraints or deeper fears/control issues. Nonetheless, if you risk nothing you gain nothing. How will know what you’re capable of unless you push those limits? The Mercury/Uranus opposition can deliver an immediate and surprising answer or reaction to the above, as the problem is abruptly clarified. Watch for a diagnosis or critique.

Venus’ move into your sector of routine can ease you forward with improved co-worker relationships or extra help/cooperation in the areas of work, health or daily activities.

Gemini

Sun/Mercury in your sector of self-expression square Pluto, pushing you to speak out, seek attention or reveal your feelings. While the goal may be positive, stay alert to what’s driving you. Hidden issues involving jealousy, compulsions or fear of losing control can trigger words/conversations with a manipulative edge. Too, you may not enjoy the attention you receive.

Jupiter into your sector of routine can increase your workload and your attention to health/diet/exercise. More on your plate may be positive (a new job, increased energy) or challenging (emphasized health issues or increased obligations). Either way, you’ll be looking at how you can get more from your daily routines and self-care – it’s time to go deeper and commit yourself completely to a powerful, intensive approach to daily life.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in domestic sector can trigger awkward family issues or wounds, as career disappointments (or fear of failure) come up. Your home base may not feel as secure as you’l like, and there can be extra pressure from a partner to step up. Home business, relocation or renovation may be other areas where you have to deal with delays and frustrations. The Mercury/Uranus opposition can alert you to what you’re missing (via external prompts) or can push you to speak out impulsively. Be especially careful with your words, as they can have an unforeseen impact on your public reputation. If you’re feeling disrespected or ignored, know that there’s nothing you can say or do, in the moment, to “fix” it. Instead, focus on your long-term goals and stick to what you know is true/solid. In some cases, events may open your eyes to a necessary change in your relationship with those in authority.

Venus’ move into your sector of self-expression can lighten the mood by increasing reasons to celebrate. Or, there could be a new, flirtatious attraction. Venus can also encourage you to develop your talents.

Cancer

Sun/Mercury in your domestic sector square Pluto, triggering an answer or concluding conversation with a partner that churns up deeper issues. The imbalance of power, or one partner’s attempt to dominate, may be key issues. Too, you could learn quite a bit about your projected shadow. Is there something you’re not admitting to?

Jupiter into your sector of self-expression suggests positive potential for children/pregnancy, new romance or performance/artistic work. What you want may or may not manifest (much depends on how realistic your goals are), but an increased craving will certainly be there. You can use this energy surge to create something authentic while increasing personal freedom and pride – this means expressing your deepest urges in healthy, productive ways. For some, the urge to play/indulge will increase – this transit can trigger extremes of behaviour, so take note ofthe difference between enjoyment versus overindulgence.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your communication sector will reveal restrictions on what you can say. Your words can stir up painful issues or embarrassing inaccuracies. Too, you may be confronted with limits around a previously encouraging conversation or piece of information. Don’t try to push past the restriction or deny the error – focus on what you can do and say to honestly address the issue. The Mercury/Uranus opposition suggests an abrupt discovery involving domestic and/or career issues may contribute.

Venus’ move into your domestic sector can ease some of the above as home becomes a place of retreat and/or support. You may need to pull back and take comfort in what’s familiar. Venus also supports small home improvements and family celebrations.

Leo

Sun/Mercury in your communication sector square Pluto, triggering an answer, understanding or conversation with challenging undertones. You may be pushed to prove your ideas or deliver results (that seem unfair) in a work or health matter. Too, you could be the one doing the pushing, as you attempt to exert control by hammering your point home or insisting on a certain outcome. Something that you learn could reveal deeper unpleasantries. Discussions with siblings could also be featured. In all cases, stay aware of the shadow behind the words (yours or theirs). There is more to the story, and if you’re attempting to manipulate, know that this can backfire.

Jupiter into your domestic sector can signal a relocation or expansion of your family. Home improvements are a possibility, as is increased intimacy and security in a domestic partnership. You can uncover more emotional or financial resources in the areas that are closest to you. However, since Jupiter expands everything, any negative domestic issues will also be amplified – past memories/experiences may bubble up.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your sector of personal resources can hi-light a financial shortfall or something that you’re lacking. You may want to fill that void, but you’ll have to be selective about how you do it – your options will be temporarily limited, and self-sufficiency and patience are called for. Joint finances or debts may have to be addressed. The Mercury/Uranus opposition can draw your attention to the above with a surprising request or discovery – you may uncover more than you bargained for, and the information will be valuable.

Venus’ move into your communication sector infuses all conversations/interactions with grace, cooperation and charm. Reaching out to others should be easier, and you can attract with your flirtatious words or ability to say the right thing at the right time.

Virgo

Sun/Mercury in your sector of personal resources square Pluto, suggesting a thought or conversation with obsessive qualities. Craving for something/someone will push you to speak out about what you feel you must have. Or, you could fixate on this, internally. Consider what the desire represents – chances are, you have the ability to provide this for yourself (you already have the resources). In some cases, discussions about salary or emotional requirements will be challenging due to hidden power plays. If you’re not getting what you feel reflects your worth, this is the time to speak up.

Jupiter into your communication sector can open the floodgates regarding writing and speaking. You’ll have more to communicate, and it may not all be pleasant – deep honesty makes many people uncomfortable. Too, you could become entranced by a new subject, idea or area of study. This is not the time to hold back – immerse yourself in whatever catches your interest.

Aspects to Mars and Venus in your sign can trigger a painful relationship moment, while making you aware of unavoidable domestic responsibilities. What you’re trying to manifest may not come easily, and your efforts could trigger someone else’s insecurities. Feelings of inadequacy cannot be erased with a neat fix, and some of what you’re facing may involve your letting go rather than making things better. At the same time, you’ll have to accept that your increased efforts and patience in one area (home, family, renovations or a domestic relationship) are necessary. The Mercury/Uranus opposition can open your eyes to a particularly painful issue involving finances or intimacy.

Venus’ move into your sector of personal resources can take the edge off financial worries/emotional insecurity, with increased attraction energy that brings you what you want. There could be a financial gift, a small increase in earnings or an opportunity to feel better about yourself. Venus can restore the balance between what you’re craving versus what you already have.

Libra

Sun/Mercury in your sign square Pluto, pushing you to speak out or decide, although the push may feel invasive. Family issues, challenges from a family member, or buried impulses may drive you to say more than intended. Too, there could be a discovery about something from the past.

Jupiter into your sector of personal resources can boost your potential to earn more or spend more. The urge to expand your security base will be there, and much depends on how you use it. You can become proactive about getting more from your job or business, while feeling more confident that you’re worth it. But if you’re feeling a lack of something, this energy can cause you to overdo it and substitute material indulgences for genuine security.

Aspects to Mars and Venus in your hidden sector suggest the disappointment of a dream, secret desire or unrealized potential. This does not have to be an absolute “No” but there will be a reality check on what you haven’t fully clarified or brought out into the open. Painful confrontations with reality will force you to look closely at what you’re trying to manifest. Mercury in your sign opposing Uranus can see you making an unexpected declaration, or receiving some surprising news.

Venus’ move into your sign can ease some of the above discomfort, as you’re gifted with increased charm, attraction power and and self-esteem. This transit is about enjoying your natural talents (since Venus rules your sign) – you won’t have to make an effort to attract, you can simply be yourself. It’s time to appreciate your ability to relate to almost anyone, while putting your best face forward.

Scorpio

Sun/Mercury in your hidden sector square Pluto, churning up secrets or deeper realizations. A comment, discussion or discovery could have a profound impact, as it peels back a final layer and exposes what’s authentic. While this may be uncomfortable, you’ll learn the truth.

Jupiter into your sign gifts you with more: more desire, more optimism to expand, more energy to go deeper. Is it time to commit yourself thoroughly to something?  You approach everything with all-or-nothing intensity, and Jupiter will increase this. To your benefit, efforts can bring huge rewards and an increase in personal power. On the negative side, an unhealthy obsession can grow – try to maintain some sense of perspective, and make sure the waters you’re diving into are not toxic.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your social sector suggest painful issues with a friend, group or your relationship to the public. What’s revealed can make you feel vulnerable or insecure, and your ability to act/react may be limited. Your best approach is a careful step forward (your actions may be open to judgement). The Mercury/Uranus opposition can fuel the above with a startling reveal or abrupt public exposure of a secret.

Venus’ move into your hidden sector can see you pulling back in response to the above. Allow yourself time to regroup and concentrate on what’s most precious to you (and no one else). For the time being, don’t concern yourself with what others are saying or thinking.

Sagittarius

Sun/Mercury in your social sector square Pluto, triggering public displays/announcements with friends or groups. The message that’s delivered or received will be powerful, but could put you on the spot or make you feel attacked. Too, you may be the one who’s forcefully making your point. Undercurrents of jealousy or insecurity (financial or emotional) can up the stakes, turning a social moment into a power struggle.

Jupiter into your hidden sector can stir up background issues that slowly but steadily leak out and dominate. What’s hidden can overwhelm you, as it takes on exaggerated importance. Your best approach to this is fearless honesty as you confront the issue – don’t ignore it in hopes it will fade away. Too, this transit can encourage positive but untapped potentials – an ultimate goal or desire can be activated. You’ll be urged to dive deeply into this area, with a no-limits approach.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your career sector can hi-light painful moments with those in authority. You may be caught off guard with lack of preparation, or a critique of your professional image/efforts. The square to Saturn in your sign suggests you’re capable of digging in and making some improvements – just be aware that in a big-picture sense, you won’t be able to make everything all better. It’s possible that your current path needs adjusting, or your relationship with someone in authority can only be improved so much. In some cases, a personal relationship (with someone you work with) can cause difficulties in your professional life. The opposition between Mercury and Uranus can bring the above issues to light with an unpleasant public jolt. Aim to be as polite and professional as possible, because your reactions will be in the spotlight.

Venus’ move into your social sector can ease things up a bit with a change in focus. Your public reputation can get a boost, as you connect with folks in a light and friendly way, while turning on the charm. Use Venus to reach others with your natural warmth and inclusivity – excellent for networking, or forgetting about difficult work issues and kicking back with friends.

Capricorn

Sun/Mercury in your career sector squares Pluto in your sign. Power struggles at work could come to a head, or you could have a discussion with/get results from management that challenges your personal power and drive for success. Depending on how you feel about your job, you could rise to the challenge or decide that it’s time to move on. Forceful competition will be a theme, and you might be put on the spot during an interview or work review.

Jupiter into your social sector can widen your social circle with new friends or groups, while improving your relationship to the public. Excellent if you’re trying to promote a business, network or simply meet new people. You could become immersed in a new social cause or activity that demands a lot from you, in terms of energy and emotional commitment.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your sector of opportunities suggest difficulties around travel, long-distance romance, education, legal matters or publishing. You could feel exposed or unprepared as you deal with the unknown. Hidden restrictions or fears could temporarily prevent you from moving ahead, and the Mercury/Uranus opposition suggests surprising announcements at work could be involved. Too, there could be stressful moments with public speaking or having to display your knowledge. While you may not be prepared for everything that hits, it will helpful if you acknowledge were you feel weakest, while taking into account any limits in your blindspot that may impact you.  Now’s the time to confront what you haven’t been acknowledging.

Venus’ move into your career sector can take the edge of career difficulties. Watch for an improvement in all professional relationships. This will be based to an extent on your ability to “play the game” – smile and say the polite thing. This is about your long-term strategies and future goals.

Aquarius

Sun/Mercury in your sector of opportunities squares Pluto, indicating that travel, legal matters, education or publishing can present difficult moments. You may be pushing for an answer that’s not forthcoming, or someone may challenge you with information that makes you feel powerless. Sensing that there’s more to the story, you may continue to dig for the truth or justice. Be cautious with this influence – even if you have the best intentions, pushing too hard can result in someone else feeling threatened, although this may occur behind the scenes. You won’t be fully aware of what’s going on, so keep all communication as polite and upfront as possible.

Jupiter into your career sector can bring positive attention in all business matters. Success, ambition and the desire for work that’s profoundly satisfying are features of this transit. This means if you’re stuck in a job that’s not right for you, Jupiter will magnify existing difficulties while pushing you towards something better. Your readiness to throw yourself into an authentic professional life (one that resonates to your core) will activate the energy of abundance in this transit.

Aspects to Mars and Venus in your sector of shared resources can trigger insecurities in the areas of debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. What you want may not be available from another, or you may discover a flaw that draws your attention to deeper dissatisfaction. Efforts to make changes/get closer/maintain control will be limited, and this goes forfears as well. There is something that you have no control over, and it may be up to others to provide the solution. Your task is to manage that lack of control with patience, resilience and acceptance of your current circumstances. If you owe money, this is the time to get organized and figure out a payment plan. If you haven’t been honouring boundaries (yours or theirs) it’s time to draw a line and slow down. The Mercury/Uranus opposition suggests some of the above may suddenly be revealed with an official announcement or flash of clarity that changes the balance of your faith.

Venus’ move into your sector of opportunities can offer a breath of fresh air, as more possibilities in the above scenarios open up. Your issue won’t be neatly solved, but you can discover assistance, encouragement or a receptive audience in new areas. What’s unexplored or just beyond your current threshold can hold something positive. And, you could find that your faith is renewed in unexpected ways.

Pisces

Sun/Mercury in your sector of shared resources suggests uncomfortable discussions or discoveries about debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. Deeper truths may come out, and you could end up revealing or discovering more than you’re comfortable with. Research and physiological exploration are supported, but the drive to uncover the truth can become obsessive.

Jupiter into your sector of opportunities can open your eyes to something new in the areas of travel, education, legal matters or publishing. The urge to explore or learn can intensify, along with your faith in the future. What’s calling may ask a lot of you – it’s not something you can casually sample. Uncharted waters will be deeper than anticipated, but the only way forward is to dive in.

Aspects to Mars and Venus in your partnership sector can trigger painful relationship moments. A significant person may trigger your sensitivities with their actions, and you may find that this interaction draws your attention to limits in your future. Your power will be restricted in this scenario, so focus on looking after yourself and acknowledging your wounds. Watch for the temptation to project or martyr yourself. The Mercury/Uranus opposition can abruptly reveal a secret or buried issue, regarding the above.

Venus’ move into your sector of shared resources can draw your attention to deeper issues of financial or emotional imbalance. On the plus side, Venus suggests some positive financial or relationship developments, but much depends on how you’ve beenhandling what you share or owe. Venus can also encourage you to develop hidden resources and strategies.

October 6th, 2017: Disconnect

pexels.com

pexels.com

  • Mercury in Libra inconjunct Pallas Rx in Taurus: 11 degrees
  • Mercury in Libra inconjunct Neptune Rx in Pisces: 12 degrees

Mercury forms the point of a Yod, a challenging configuration that focuses two, tense aspects (inconjuncts) onto one planet.

Mercury/Pallas Rx suggests a disconnect between relationship communication and strategies, while Mercury/Neptune Rx can trigger sensitivity and misunderstandings in discussions.

Meanwhile, Pallas and Neptune support each other with a sextile (not exact) – practical, measurable plans to establish security can lead to the manifestation of a dream. You can make the financial or security ideal real. But, the tricky part will be translating this into words that someone will understand and agree with. It’s difficult but doable – aim for clarity (check that they’re hearing you and you’re not misreading them) and compromise.

Pallas and Neptune’s Rx status indicates that this is not a new issue. You’re revising the plans, although it may be the first time you’ve talked about them openly.

October 3rd, 2017: A Mixed Day For Relationships

Frederic Leighton

Frederic Leighton

  • Venus in Virgo trine Pluto in Capricorn: 16 degrees
  • Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius square Chiron Rx in Pisces: 25 degrees
  • Mercury in Libra square Juno in Capricorn: 6 degrees

Pluto strengthens Venus’ standards. Relationships, finances and self-esteem will benefit from attention to detail and a desire for the best. Pluto can intensify Virgo’s perfectionism, even with the harmonious trine. This shouldn’t be a problem unless you’re not prepared to make the healthiest choice for yourself.

BML/Chiron suggests that the taboo sexual/woman’s issue will uncover a raw patch. This square can hi-light the wound of the woman on the fringes, or the pain of sexual exploitation. Lilith in Sag pushes the boundaries of what’s acceptable, while drawing everyone’s attention to those expanding boundaries. The Chiron square doesn’t mean this is wrong, but it won’t be easy to step out of line or do what a woman “shouldn’t” do.

Mercury/Juno can trigger conflict about relationship rules or the mutual understanding of commitment. A partnership agreement could hit a snag, with more discussion needed.

This is a mixed day for relationships. Use the Pluto trine to enable an improvement by embracing honesty, practicality and complete acceptance of your current reality.

Overview

Building on today’s trine between Mars and Pluto, Venus in Virgo completes a trine with Pluto on October 3rd. The combined energies of Venus (what you want) and Mars (what you do to get it) are intensified by Pluto, suggesting a smooth flow of manifestation. Ground your desires in the present, and take steps to make them happen.

Venus and Mars will perfect their conjunction on October 5th, the same day as the Mars-ruled Aries Full Moon. The Aries/Libra polarity is reflected in this conjunction, suggesting that Full Moon results will involve correct (Virgo) actions (Mars) aimed at fixing or improving a desired (Venus) situation. The Libra Sun conjoins Mercury (ruler of Virgo) and Sun/Mercury make confusing inconjuncts to Neptune. Separating fact from fiction could be challenging.

Virgo insists on high standards and rigorous clarity. This will be further emphasized by Venus’ square to Saturn in Sagittarius, exact on October 8th. The Sun/Mercury conjunction in Libra will also perfect on this day. Mars is applying to a square with Saturn, exact on October 11th. Progress from the Pluto trines may hit a snag around the Full Moon, or up to October 11th. Saturn will slow things down, demand proof, hi-light what’s missing, or deliver hard consequences. Extra work will be featured, as you discover that what you want requires even more effort.

But if you really want this, it’s worth it.

Aries

Venus (and Mars) in your sector of routine trine Pluto, fortifying your work efforts, health and energy level. You can make steady progress in career or diet/exercise if you focus on the small issues and make necessary corrections. Excellent for improving relationships with co-workers or gaining favourable attention from management, clients or the public. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn will remind you of limits in the above areas, via excess responsibilities or physical restrictions. If you hit a block, slow down and confront the problem with a step-by-step approach. If you’re presented with excess responsibilities, aim for a scrupulous approach (don’t rush it).

The Full Moon in your sign can hi-light a crucial relationship conversation or understanding. An imbalance between you and another may be revealed, and what’s expected of you may feel unfair. Consider the role that your daily workor habits play in the Full Moon’s outcome. Secrets or unacknowledged expectations can undermine your efforts – be crystal clear onthe details, and ground yourself in the immediate facts (avoid mind reading or projecting your hopes).

Taurus

Venus (and Mars) in your sector of self-expression trine Pluto, intensifying a romantic attraction, creative project or personal goal. What you want/love can manifest, and you may find support via education, long-distance travel, legal matters or publishing. The further you venture into new territory, the more you can gain. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn will remind you that there’s more work to be done, or that you may not get the complete package. Financial or intimacy restrictions can slow you down. Don’t give up (if you really want this, it’s worth the effort) but do be aware of boundaries or the need for patience.

The Full Moon in your hidden sector can reveal a truth about work or health issues. Something you’ve been avoiding, or something in your blindspot, can make itself known via your daily routines or attention to practical details. Consider if your efforts to succeed, gain attention or impress someone have created an imbalance. Also, be wary of misguided ideals/insecurities triggered by an external source. Acknowledge the bigger picture (or ultimate goal) but don’t lose sight of your immediate concerns. Especially crucial if this involves a public launch, promotion or performance.

Too, the impact on your professional life/dealings with management could be disappointing. Consider how your public efforts are influenced by your personal/family life. Efforts you make at home will have an external impact, even if those efforts are a result of increased stress. Don’t allow professional disillusionment to distract you from responsibilities in your personal life.

Cancer

Venus (and Mars) in your communication sector trine Pluto, suggesting a smooth, intense flow of words/ideas between you and another. An existing partnership (or new relationship) can benefit from your direct approach – say what you want, then follow up with actions. Keep it grounded in the present moment and you won’t be perceived as too pushy, and you’ll stand a good chance of getting what you want. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn will remind you that there are some practical details (involving work or health) that must be attended to. Your words must be rock solid, and proven down to the last detail. This is not the time for maybe or sort of – keep it precise and be prepared to back up your ideas with work. You may discover than an initially promising message/conversation comes with built-in limits. There’s more work to be done before you get desired results.

The Full Moon in your career sector can present a powerful result involving a new job, your professional image or your relationship with someone in authority. Career goals may need some adjusting, as your promising communication/request hits a snag. As noted above, your best way forward is to keep all information/actions as clear and precise as possible. Have proof of everything, and be prepared to show your work. If the result is not what you hoped for, don’t give up – focus on the present and tackle the immediate issue.

Leo

Venus (and Mars) in your sector of personal resources trine Pluto, giving you a financial and self-esteem boost. Changes in your work and/or health regime can pay off nicely, helping you manifest visible results. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn will keep you on a narrow path, as you encounter limits that restrict your finances or dent your confidence. What you want demands extra work and restraint- results may not come quickly, but you’re on the right track.

The Full Moon in your sector of opportunities can bring results around long-distance travel, education, legal matters or publishing. An official announcement or answer may be confusing, or there could be hidden information to consider. Efforts to boost money/security will be connected to this Full Moon, and you’ll have to consider all the facts (especially the unspoken ones). Don’t allow secrets or buried information to undermine your hard work.

Virgo

Venus (and Mars) in your sign trine Pluto, increasing your confidence, attraction power and drive to succeed. Your dedication to something you want can pay off, but the Venus/Mars square to Saturn is a reminder that there’s more work to be done before you get it right. Isn’t that always the case? You’re no stranger to extra effort, so this should be business as usual. Take stock of your recent success, and keep pushing. Domestic responsibilities may slow you down, so you’ll have to work within those parameters.

The Full Moon in your sector of shared resources suggests results involving debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. A fact may be illuminated, along with a relationship disappointment. Too, financial details or promises between you and another may be confusing – don’t allow certain things to go unsaid. Get all the facts out on the table, especially if home finances or family concerns are involved. There may be additional responsibilities that you hadn’t considered. Fortunately, you have the power to deal with this, even if some of your efforts are limited.

Libra

Venus (and Mars) in your hidden sector trine Pluto, adding weight and purpose to a hidden attraction or goal. Background developments will be supported by domestic changes or a redefinition of your base identity – watch for a quiet but sure sense that things are unfolding as they should. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn can trigger frustrations in the form of difficult news or confrontations with reality. Rather than folding under the weight of these developments, use the increased pressure to refine and clarify background developments. Good intentions aren’t enough – proof of intent is needed.

The Full Moon in your partnership sector can present a relationship turning point that features your answer or request. Watch for an emerging understanding of hidden issues. Your partner may push for a decision, or you may decide that it’s time to clarify things. Whether you’re asking or answering, you’ll be challenged to provide specifics and stand firm on what you decide. No waffling allowed- this is a now-or-never scenario. If someone asks you exactly how you plan on accomplishing X, Y or Z, make sure you have a solid answer.

Scorpio

Venus (and Mars) in your social sector trine Pluto, suggesting solid progress in a friendship, new social connection, group activity or public launch. Your public image/reputation will benefit from a deepening focus on authentic ideas – if you have something to say that you’re passionate about, speak up. You’ll have to be careful that you don’t overstep boundaries, or push a situation further than it’s ready to progress. Too, you may be challenged to prove your worth (publicly). Financial restrictions can play a role.

What you’ve suspected (or what’s been lurking in your blind spot) can be made very public, and there may be demands for you to explain yourself. Too, the results of a hidden issue can be made public. There may be a temptation to fudge the facts or brush the whole situation off. Or, someone may use pretty words to distract you from the facts. Either way, the hard truth is your only way forward – own up to what you’ve been avoiding, and don’t accept excuses from anyone else.

Sagittarius

Venus (and Mars) in your career sector trine Pluto, helping to solidify an emerging career goal, business, or professional relationship. What’s taking shape can earn you more, while boosting your self-esteem and professional reputation. Professional connections can be especially lucrative. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn in your sign will remind you that success takes extra work – this will not be handed to you. Increased responsibilities can delay a desired outcome (such as a new job), but that doesn’t mean it’s off the table. You may simply have to dig in and prove you’ve got what it takes. Regarding work relationships, make sure you keep things professional- your reputation could be impacted.

The Full Moon in your sector of self-expression suggests a public event, launch or result that displays your talents. Networking, public messages or public speaking will be hi-lighted, and how you cooperate with others in authority will be key. Watch for mixed messages or projected expectations – don’t assume that others are on the same page as you (you may have to spell it out). Also, make sure that there’s no room for misunderstandings with any public messages you’re delivering. Your authority may be tested, as you’re pushed to prove your expertise. There is a possible success, but it will be directly connected to the amount of work you’ve put in so far.

Capricorn

Venus (and Mars) in your sector of opportunities trine Pluto in your sign, suggesting positive results around long-distance travel, long-distance romance, education, legal matters or publishing. Progress should feel assured, as your efforts to expand are powered up by your emerging confidence and sense of purpose. Excellent for reaching a wider audience. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn can trigger some background limits that you weren’t fully aware of. If you hit a delay, consider what’s going on behind the scenes – it’s possible that an incomplete ending is holding you back. You may need to wrap something up before you can forge ahead.

The Full Moon in your domestic sector illuminates a result/ending in the areas of family dynamics, a relocation, home business or future goals. This could be driven by information about a job, or a conversation with a supervisor. However, know that everything you hear or understand may not be totally clear – make sure you double check the facts before you jump ahead. Developments in your opportunities sector will be connected to these results, and success depends on your ability to take care of loose ends while being ultra-specific about your next step (even if you’re moving into brand new territory).

Aquarius

Venus (and Mars) in your sector of shared resources trine Pluto, suggesting encouraging developments around debts, taxes, loans, your partners finances or physical/emotional intimacy. Secrets or buried information can work in your favour if you push forward and aim for total honesty and trust. A financial gift or lucrative opportunity could be featured. Too, efforts to go deeper in your own development (by confronting fears and releasing attempts to control what cannot be controlled) can increase your personal power. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn can remind you that not everyone is on board with your inner journey. External rules or judgements from friends, groups or public institutes can restrict your financial or emotional security – know that you can’t control what others think, or what society dictates. But your personal journey is still valid, and you still have access to inner strength.

The Full Moon in your communications sector can illuminate an answer, discussion with siblings or announcement. Information around travel, education, legal matters or publishing may be part of these results, as you decide whether to continue on your current path. Developments in your sector of shared resources (especially financial developments) will play a role. However, make sure you’re absoltuely clear on the financial or security angles-  some information may be clouded by fears, insecurities or inaccurate facts. Hopes/expectations can mislead you – aim for the hard truth instead.

Pisces

For a business relationship, watch for lucrative cooperation. Also excellent if you’re trying to reach members of the public on a personal level. However, the squares from Venus/Mars to Saturn will create some friction as professional rules or future goals clash with current developments. There will be progress, but you may have to accept that the other person is not totally on board with all your plans. In some cases, success/lack of success may be an issue as you’re confronted with competition.

The Full Moon in your sector of personal resources delivers results involving earned money, self-esteem or emotional security. What you have (or would like to have) will be tested by another. A conversation about intimacy or shared finances may not deliver everything you wanted to hear, especially as the inconjunct to Neptune Rx in your sign suggests misleading information, confusion or lies. Your ability to uncover the truth (or deliver your answers with absolute clarity and consistency) will be key. Now is not the time to gloss over facts or trust that someone else will take care of things if they’re not being open with you.
