November 30th, 2017: Mars in Libra Inconjunct Chiron Rx

Jean Béraud

  • Mars in Libra inconjunct Chiron Rx in Pisces: 24 deg

Social efforts will hit the wrong note because actions (Mars) will be out of step with a vulnerable area (Chiron). The energy of the inconjunct makes the problem difficult to see, so well-meaning efforts will still end up being insensitive. Or, attempts to not rock the boat will paradoxically end up hurting someone. Too, you may just feel awkward in a social setting, as if everything you do is a bit “off.”

This is a no-win aspect – don’t expect to get it perfect, and don’t beat yourself up if it goes wrong.

Wondering what 2018 has in store for you? I’m currently booking into March, so if you want a reading that’s still early(ish) in the year, consider ordering a consult

Overview

November 28th brings a conjunction between Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius. Saturn will define a verbal or written commitment/idea. This can also be an official ending that’s put into words. But Mercury will station Rx on December 3rd, which is the same day as the Mercury-ruled Gemini Full Moon (squaring Neptune). Mercury Rx is the backtrack or delay, and the Full Moon square Neptune suggests a culmination that’s unclear. The results may reveal more choices and questions. So what seemed to be concrete will actually be the start of a review, with confusion and shifting options until Mercury stations direct (December 22nd). Note that Mercury Rx will conjoin Saturn in Sag on December 6th, so you’ll be revisiting the issue from November 28th.

December 1st features Venus’ entrance into Sagittarius and an opposition between Mars in Libra and Uranus Rx. Mars/Uranus is the abrupt break or leap forward – a result that hits fast and hard. Combined with the planet of relationships, money and values entering the sign of exploration, this feels like a surge towards freedom and excitement. Something new can hit and reveal bigger, better, more enticing. The first of three trines between Jupiter in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces (December 2nd) continues that theme, with flowing expansion or immersion. Jupiter broadens and Neptune dissolves. Combine the two, and you have limitless possibilities. Just remember that Mercury will be stationing Rx on December 3rd, and Neptune will make that confusing square to the Full Moon.

On January 12th 2020, Saturn will conjoin Pluto at 22 degrees Capricorn. This will be the start of a new cycle involving authority and power – a deconstruction for some, and an official confirmation for others. For added interest, the Sun, Mercury and Ceres will be nearby. Wondering how this might impact you? Check out my downloadable PDF for a description of these influences by natal house.

Aries

Mercury/Saturn in your opportunities sector suggests an official statement/document  involving travel, education, legal matters or publishing. Too, a belief can be confirmed or can demand your exclusive focus. It might be time to get serious about a new area of study. However, the Full Moon in your communication sector, and Mercury Rx, suggests final statements/goals may not be as final as you thought. More questions will be raised, and there may be delays as further proof is demanded.

Venus into your sector of opportunities and Mars opposite Uranus Rx in your sign suggest an explosive new romance or an explosive break for freedom from an existing relationship. This energy may push you to dive into something new, or someone else may be the catalyst. There is an element of risk, so use a bit of caution. Meanwhile, Jupiter/Neptune can loosen boundaries and encourage immersive intimacy, big spending, or a deep release of fears and secrets.

Taurus

Mercury/Saturn in your sector of shared resources can define an issue around debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or intimacy. A private conversation may appear to nail it down, as boundaries are set and commitments made. However, the Full Moon in your sector of personal resources, and Mercury Rx, indicates that the above will not be clear-cut. Deeper questions may come up regarding personal versus shared finances, and independence versus intimacy. There can be delays, a change in plans or mixed messages.

Venus into your sector of shared resources and Mars/Uranus can accelerate behind-the-scenes developments with money or relationships. A sudden reveal or change of routine (regarding health or work) can push things to the next level. Or, trigger deeper insight and more questions. Jupiter/Neptune suggests a partnership can progress easily, perhaps becoming intimate more quickly than anticipated. Too, mutual forgiveness, compassion and enjoyment can flow as one-on-one connections and friendships/group activities blend nicely.

Gemini

Mercury/Saturn in your partnership sector points to a commitment or definitive answer – a promise, signed document or absolute “yes/no” that defines where the relationship is going. However, the Full Moon in your sign and Mercury Rx indicates that the answer  or commitment may not be final. Shifting future goals, or emerging disagreements about what a mutual future entails, can trigger questions. If someone changes their mind, don’t push for a decision. Too, you may feel that your choices are not clear-cut; take some time to sort through the options.

Venus into your partnership sector and Mars/Uranus suggest that new relationship developments could feature a surprising attraction, or a “now or never” push for attention/appreciation. A new attraction could catch you off guard and raise questions about an existing relationship. Or, an existing relationship could abruptly reveal a whole new side to you and/or your partner. All relationships (platonic or romantic) may have unexpected public consequences. Professionally, if you’re looking to attract attention you’ll certainly have the opportunity. Just be aware that the reactions of others may be unexpected. Jupiter/Neptune encourages a smooth flow between your daily efforts/work routines and big-picture career goals. Change and expansion on a mundane level can boost possibilities for a dream job, or future goal that previously seemed unreachable.

Cancer

Mercury/Saturn in your sector of routine can define a health or work issue. A problem, diagnosis or solution may be outlined, but the Full Moon in your hidden sector and Mercury Rx suggest that unexpected results can throw you off track. The solution may not work out as planned, or the diagnosis may be more complicated. It might be time to take a closer look at something you missed. Or, your work/health routines may need to be adjusted.

Venus into your sector of routine and Mars/Uranus will add more surprises, with a sudden development at home/with family. An unexpected result around a home business, relocation, repair, family issue or career goal can switch your focus to must-dos and obligations. However, you may find that you have more assistance and support than anticipated. Too, an abrupt change of plans can work out for the best, bringing unexpected blessings to work or health issues. Jupiter/Neptune can open some creative or romantic doors, as new possibilities beckon you forward. Travel, education, legal matters, publishing or creative work are areas where you can find a receptive audience.

Leo

Mercury/Saturn in your sector of self-expression can define a new attraction, creative work or issue involving children/pregnancy. This can be a manifestation aspect, or a “no”. Much depends on the efforts you’ve put into achieving this goal and your perspective on reality. However, the Full Moon in your social sector and Mercury Rx can put developments on hold, as responses from friends, groups or the public raise more questions. Too, there could be a change of plans, change of heart or questions about what you really want. Issues around finances or intimacy can stir up confusion.

Venus into your sector of self-expression and Mars/Uranus will add another wrinkle, with a surprising bit of information, unexpected announcement or conversation that adds something new to look forward to. You may be tempted to give a final response or speak out abruptly, before you know all the facts. Use caution – Mercury Rx means there’s more to uncover. Jupiter/Neptune can encourage you to open up on a deeper level, drop your boundaries or spend/invest more. Home finances look promising, especially if you’re upgrading or adding more to your home/family.

Virgo

Mercury/Saturn in your domestic sector hi-lights a family discussion, home document or decision about a home business. The terms may appear solid, but the Full Moon in your career sector, and Mercury Rx, says there’s more to talk about/review. There may be delays around relocating, selling or coming to an agreement with a domestic partner. Additional options can appear, but you may not be certain about what’s true and what’s false. Take your time and carefully consider all the information, keeping in mind that things can shift again once Mercury stations direct.

Venus into your domestic sector, and Mars/Uranus, can push you to leap into something new involving finances or relationships. Keep in mind that you may not have all the information, and even if you’re being pushed to act (or feel panicky/impatient) it’s in your best interests to be cautious. A sudden change in financial status, or unexpected expense, are also possibilities. Jupiter/Neptune can bring glowing promises from a partner, or moments of happiness as you come to an agreement, forgive or connect on an intuitive level. Enjoy the good news/good vibes.

Libra

Mercury/Saturn in your communication sector can present an official answer, document, decision or defining conversation. It can also solidify your resolve or crystallize a plan. However, the Full Moon in your sector of opportunities and Mercury Rx can reveal another, confusing layer to the plan or decision. There may be backtracking or questions, plus a reveal of previously obscured information. Allow the questions to emerge and expect delays and miscommunications.

But the Full Moon in your sector of shared resources, and Mercury Rx, can bring up questions about the above. Boundaries can become blurred and you may start to doubt what you want or have. Financial agreements may not be finalized at this point. Know that this process will continue until Mercury stations direct.

Jupiter in your sign trine Neptune in your sector of self-expression can open things up, creatively or romantically. Watch for easy immersion into something you’ve been hoping for. Too, this aspect can dissolve your boundaries and make it tempting to overindulge.

Sagittarius

Mercury/Saturn in your sign can bring a conclusion, official answer or line-in-the-sand discussion. One chapter ends and another begins, with clear definitions of your responsibilities. However, the Full Moon in your partnership sector, and Mercury Rx, suggests that a conclusion/culmination with a partner may raise new questions. What you thought was a done deal may not be complete. Confusing family dynamics or issues from the past can dissolve what you thought was certain, and urge you to review the rules. The discussion isn’t over, and there’s more information to look at.

Venus into your sign, and Mars/Uranus, suggests an exciting boost of attraction, socialization or brilliant inspiration. It may be time to go public, show off, make your move or promote your work. Celebrations can be hi-lighted as well. Just use a bit of caution when dealing with others – you may unprepared for certain reactions, especially involving friends and group dynamics. Jupiter/Neptune can ease you past any domestic/family difficulties, with a subtle but marked upsurge in optimism and relief. There may be a growing sense that everything is going to be ok, or that you’re on the right track. Trust your instincts.

Capricorn

Mercury/Saturn in your hidden sector can draw a line under the past, as an ending or transition is clarified. This may be happening in the background, or it may be your internal voice/inner conviction that urges you to draw that line. However, the Full Moon in your sector of routine, and Mercury Rx, says there’s more that you’re not aware of, regarding health, work routines or service to others. You may be confused by additional information or second thoughts, and there may be more to consider before you close that door. Rather than trying to sort through confusing messages or possible deceptions, stay open to what’s happening and allow the facts to settle on their own. The full story should be revealed by the time Mercury stations direct.

Venus into your hidden sector, and Mars/Uranus, suggests a sudden shift regarding home and career. Surprising developments at work, in a job search, or with someone in authority can trigger a 180 degree turn in your future goals. Insecurities or shifting values/finances can make you aware of additional choices, or make you question your final choices. A verbal commitment may be uncertain, as others have more to say.

Venus into your social sector, and Mars/Uranus, suggests an unexpected opportunity or meeting. However, the Full Moon in your domestic sector (square Neptune in your sign), and Mercury Rx, suggests that everything is not as final as you thought. Events at home/with family can raise more questions and see you considering other choices regarding your future. Conversations with those in authority may feature some backsliding, delays or confusion. Your future is at a turning-point, but you may not have a final answer until Mercury stations direct.

Venus into your career sector, and Mars/Uranus, suggest that sudden changes in a financial or intimate situation could open up new possibilities for your future. You could feel that you’re at the mercy of someone else’s actions, and while it’s true that you’ll have limited control, you may be able to spin this to your advantage. Watch for a strategic professional relationship to open up, or a chance to make a good impression on higher ups. Jupiter in your opportunities sector, trine Neptune in your sign, adds to the positive potential with developments around travel, education, legal matters, exploration or publishing. There’s more to explore, and luck (right place, right time) may be a dominant factor. Watch for the moment when it feels natural and effortless to step forward.
