Overview

The January 31st Full Moon eclipse in Leo is surrounded by multiple aspects to Venus in Aquarius. As I explained in this post, Venus provides the counterpoint to the eclipse’s Great Mother energies (this eclipse conjoins Ceres).

For those of you not familiar with Ceres, she was a crop goddess whose daughter was taken by the king of the underworld. She represents the full spectrum of nurturing, growth, loss and rebirth (her daughter eventually returned and was allowed to spend part of the year with her).

Ceres conjunct this eclipse is maximum mothering energies. Nurturing used to dominate and demand attention, as a defence against the fear of loss (mother as Queen or diva). Nurturing used to grow something you’re creating, or celebrate a season of abundance. This eclipse will be a result, so you’ve been building up to this.

  • Jan 27th: Venus opposes Ceres
  • Jan 29th: Venus conjoins the Aquarius South Node
  • Feb 3rd: Venus conjoins Juno
  • Feb 4th: Venus squares Jupiter

Venus’ opposition to Ceres will emphasize the theme of this eclipse. What’s needed will be represented by Moon/Ceres, and what’s wanted will be represented by Venus. The two are in opposition, which will create some interesting tension.

Venus/South Node is the karmic relationship contract, or the culmination of a self-esteem/financial issue. All in the Aquarian context of individuation, detachment or alienation. Venus/Juno suggests an agreement with someone else, and Venus/Jupiter is the burst of optimism and freedom. No matter what Venus brings into your life during this time, she will be asking for room to breath. If it’s good, you won’t have complete ownership of it (maybe no ownership). If it’s not so good, the death grip of neediness/control will make it feel worse.

For a review about what Venus in Aquarius is about, check this post

Mercury’s entrance into Aquarius on the same day as the eclipse says that detached information will be part of the package. The eclipse itself may be quite dramatic, but the accompanying discussion should be cool and clear.

Aries

Aspects to Venus in your social sector can hi-light a close friendship or romantic attraction that accelerates quickly. This could be someone from your past, or someone you’ve just met (but feel that you’ve always known). There could be a blend of friendship and romance, with a pull to advance this attraction into a partnership.

The eclipse in your sector of self-expression adds significance to the above Venus energies with a culmination or intensified push for romance or recognition. Ceres suggests the importance of nurturing what’s most precious to you, but her opposition to Venus can trigger jealousy or dissatisfaction with the amount of love/attention that’s available. Fears of losing someone, or (or on larger scale) fears of being ignored by your “audience” could result in moody, dramatic displays. What you want will be illuminated, but these energies are not all about you. On a different note, these influences could indicate a public launch, the birth of a child or creative project.

Mercury into your social sector increases this eclipse’s public energy, with an announcement, speech or cards-on-the table conversation. Even if the subject is private, the results will be known to others.

Taurus

Aspects to Venus in your career sector focus on a professional relationship, or a romantic partnership that impacts your career and future goals. Your professional image will be key, and there could be advancement and/or a lucrative contract/agreement. Watch for enthusiastic support (or pushiness) from someone close to you. Overall, you should be feeling confident about how your future is unfolding.

The eclipse in your domestic sector ties in home and family issues with the above energies. There may be a key decision about family versus career, and your next step will be strongly influenced by what you’re nurturing at home. In some cases, the demands of family may interfere with your career goals (watch for domineering parental energy to take centre stage). There may be fears about losing a family member, or your domestic security, if you make the wrong choice.

Mercury into your career sector suggests that this eclipse will also feature an official announcement, key conversation with management or (in some cases) a resignation letter if domestic concerns trump professional goals.

Gemini

Aspects to Venus in your sector of opportunities suggests developments involving education, travel, long distance, a long-distance relationship or publishing have reached a point of culmination. It may be time to build on what you have, flesh out the details of the partnership, or verbalize what you want. This could be an enthusiastic leap forward into new territory, even if the contact involves someone from your past. In some cases, there may be an enthusiastic release from a partnership, as you move on and explore new territory.

The eclipse in your communication sector (and Mercury into your opportunities sector) could deliver powerful results related to the above. There could be an announcement, official decision or final conversation. This is about verbalizing what needs to be nurtured, or classifying mother/child issues. There may be some tension between what you want to explore versus what needs to be defined. This will push you to clarify or categorize what’s most precious to you.

Cancer

Aspects to Venus in your sector of shared resources can hi-light the terms and conditions of an intimate relationship, or the money that you owe/share. This could be a time-has-come moment regarding self-sufficiency in an intimate relationship, or how much you’re prepared to give. Watch for impulsive urges to spend or declare your intentions. Too, you may be expecting more than the other person is ready to give.

The eclipse in your sector of personal resources can illuminate exactly what you need, financially and emotionally. Nurturing your personal security may confront you with what’s actually available from an intimate relationship. Or, there could be a turning point in your earnings, saving or spending. It may be time to grow your own resources or declare your primary requirements. A relationship that does not support these things may end.

Mercury into your sector of shared resources will stimulate discussions/realizations about the above. Mercury can help you approach uncomfortable or heavy discussions with a dispassionate approach, so you’re not swamped by emotions.

Leo

Aspects to Venus in your partnership sector suggest a turning point in a new or existing relationship. There could be a new attraction with a “fated” feeling to it, and a sense that it would be natural to become partners. An existing relationship can achieve unity as you both decide to move forward, together. There may be an enthusiastic rush to the next level.

The eclipse in your sign emphasizes your primary needs and an issue/project that you’ve been nurturing. You’ll want to put yourself first, but this could conflict with what a partner/potential partner wants. Your fears of not getting enough attention, or losing something precious, could be activated as you take on the (s)mothering role. Try to find a balance between yourself and your partner – your path forward involves acknowledging that they are a unique individual. If the disparity between your demands and what they want is too much, the relationship may end. Mercury into your relationship sector will give your partner a clear voice – make sure you listen to what they’re saying.

Virgo

Aspects to Venus in your sector of routine can bring issues around an unbalanced relationship, or your efforts to serve/improve, to a head. There may be more for you to do, or you may feel the enthusiastic urge to help. Too, this could be about moving on from certain health or work habits.

The eclipse in your hidden sector will illuminate background issues connected to the above. Perviously obscured motivations may be revealed, along with unacknowledged needs, resentments and fears of loss. You may be confronted with your urge to nurture someone who doesn’t want your help, or, you may have to release control over a situation that cannot be improved any further – you’ve done all that you can do. The key will be tuning into your genuine needs rather than distracting yourself with what’s on the surface. In some cases, you may be able to move past a block and find new inspiration in your daily work.

Mercury into your sector of routine can help, with an injection of facts, logic, diagnoses or solutions. Mercury can clarify what you know, and it will be up to you to carry this further.

Libra

Aspects to Venus in your sector of self-expression can bring up ongoing issues around receiving love, attention and appreciation for who you really are (rather than the persona you project for others). A powerful attraction could be the catalyst for this, and it could be brand new or an attraction from the past. Too, there could be opportunities to celebrate or launch a creative project. Watch for a surge of confidence, or a desire to cut loose/spend more/take an emotional or financial risk.

The eclipse in your social sector takes the above issues and makes them very public. Who you are in the eyes of others (friends, groups) or who you’d like to be will be illuminated, along with your happiness or dissatisfaction about this. This could be about nurturing a friendship, or feeling the tension between who you want to be versus your role in the group. Feelings of self-worth and attractiveness will be enhanced if you’re honouring your true self, and compromised if you’ve been focusing on making others happy.

Mercury into your sector of self-expression will give you the voice or vision that allows you to put your desires into words. Excellent for creative work, romantic interactions or public declarations.

Scorpio

Aspects to Venus in your domestic sector (including the square to Jupiter in your sign) can bring exuberant progress around a domestic relationship, home improvement, home business or relocation. This could be a sweet moment of achievement involving home/family, as you gain something you’ve been hoping for. What you want will be aligned with partnership agreements.

The eclipse in your career sector can hi-light a professional or future goal that you’ve been nurturing. Or, there could be issues with emotional domination and mother/child dynamics. What you need (success, attention) will be emphasized, and your reactions may be exaggerated, depending on whether or not you feel that your needs are being met. A career achievement is a possibility, but there may be tension between personal versus professional goals, as you attempt to step into the spotlight. There could also be a split between what you want versus what you need.

Despite the focus on career, Mercury into your domestic sector makes the conversation about home and family. Your attention will be drawn to what’s important to those closest to you, or how success might change your domestic life.

Sagittarius

Aspects to Venus in your communication sector can activate a message from a past attraction/partner, or a present-day agreement with a partner. There’s a sense of conclusion, or a time-is-ripe moment to say “yes” and take it further. Enthusiasm may be strong, but make sure you’re seeing all the facts and not just what you’re hoping will happen.

The eclipse in your opportunities sector can illuminate a result/conclusion involving travel, education, legal matters, publishing or exploration. It may be time to take a potential (that you’ve been nurturing) further, although there may be some conflict around the details of the contract, document or agreement. Even if the overall result is favourable, look closely at the content of what’s being delivered. Mercury into your communication sector urges you to remain a bit detached (in order to make sense of what’s happening) despite the emotional rush.

Capricorn

Aspects to Venus in your sector of personal resources emphasizes financial agreements, spending habits or security/self-esteem issues that are ripe for development. These influences can make you feel good about what you have, while also presenting opportunities to earn more or declare your readiness to merge your resources with someone you trust.

The eclipse in your sector of shared resources can hi-light an issue with debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or intimacy. This could be about taking things a step deeper, or investing (emotionally or financially) in something significant. Fears of loss/vulnerability can be activated, since you will be giving up some control. However, this does not mean a loss is inevitable, although in some cases, this eclipse could mark the end of a relationship or financial chapter.

Mercury into your sector of personal resources helps you write/verbalize the essentials – there could be a document signing or conversation about what you must have. Mercury can help you gain a clear-eyed, dispassionate view of how this merger or ending will impact your security.

Aquarius

Aspects to Venus in your sign can reunite you with a significant person from the past, or trigger a first-time connection with someone who feels very familiar. Too, an existing relationship could reach a turning point or ending, depending on how you and your partner are handling issues such as independence or detachment. These aspects can also be about you coming to terms with your approach to all relationships (friendship or romantic) – the key issue will be your insistence on being yourself and trusting that others will accept you as you are. There could also be an exciting career opportunity that allows you to make the most of your unique talents. All scenarios will be boosted with a bold surge of confidence (even if there’s an ending). You’re on the right path.

The eclipse in your partnership sector illuminates the impact that others have on you. This could be about a singular partnership, or your close connections in general – watch for issues of trust, pride and balance to be emphasized. The nurturing of a relationship (or others’ attempts to nurture you) can hi-light a bit of tension between allowing someone to care for you versus your constant drive to do your own thing. Too, there can be questions around what you want versus what they need. Mercury into your sign will open up the conversation on this one, urging you to speak out. Mercury can also give you the power to negotiate and clarify (this will apply to a business relationship as well).

Pisces

Aspects to Venus in your hidden sector can trigger the release of a loved one, the memory of a loved one, or the activation of a hidden attraction/potential. Ideals about love, how to love or what you want in the future can expand, pushing you past a block or silence. Watch for an opportunity to bring something out into the open.

The eclipse in your sector of routine can expose a health or work issue, along with previously unacknowledged fears of loss or failure. Too, there could be domineering attempts to control through caregiving, or a move forward towards a healthier way of living/working for yourself. Dietary issues could also be featured. Whatever is emphasized on the surface will spotlight what’s going on behind the scenes. Mercury into your hidden sector stirs up background issues even more, putting what’s vague or undefined into words, as well as sharpening your intuition about these developments -pay attention to hints and what’s unspoken.

Full Moon Eclipse in Leo: The Great Mother

William- Adolphe Bouguereau

William- Adolphe Bouguereau

The January 31st Full Moon eclipse (11 degrees Leo) conjoins Ceres Rx, so this conclusion or result will fully illuminate a mother/nurturing issue. The Moon is associated with mother, and when she unites with Ceres there can be powerful issues of pride and domination mixed in with mothering. This could involve your mother, you as a mother or something that’s demanding your unconditional love and support.

Moon/Ceres makes a confusing inconjunct to Neptune in Pisces, so there can be tension between the drive for glory and appreciation versus the need to transcend all that and be selfless. Is the nurturing really unconditional? There will be some confusion over motivation. An inconjunct always demands an adjustment – it’s not all about being in the spotlight (there’s a higher purpose) but this is not about being a martyr or making the ultimate sacrifice, either.

This eclipse will hi-light issues from Ceres’ North Node conjunctions on December 2nd, 2017 and January 16th, 2018.

Venus in Aquarius will make a wide opposition to this Moon, but I feel that she has more to contribute via the various aspects she makes immediately before and after the eclipse.

  • Jan 27th: opposes Ceres
  • Jan 29th: conjoins the Aquarius South Node
  • Feb 3rd: conjoins Juno
  • Feb 4th: square Jupiter

As I noted in a previous post:

Opposition to Ceres: two female archetypes are in opposition. The mother (Ceres) attempts to nurture/create something she’s proud of, but she’s challenged by a different view of what’s attractive. This can be mother/daughter at odds, or feeling unattractive because you’re different.

Conjunction to the South Node: blast from the past. Old lovers/attractions can shake things up. So can old relationship/financial habits. What/who reappears may simply be a catalyst for change.

Conjunction to Juno: two female archetypes unite. The wife (Juno) joins forces with the female attraction principal. Apply this to partnerships in general, and you have a harmonious agreement about new rules or a freer approach to fidelity/commitment. No room for jealousy here – trust and mutual acceptance are essential.

Her square to Jupiter promises an enthusiastic burst of individuation. Rushing off into the future while stubbornly declaring your freedom. And maybe going overboard.

These issues will surround the eclipse, with the main focus on Ceres. Ceres feels like she’ll dominate, and Venus in Aquarius will be attempting to declare her independence. It could feature two different women, or two conflicting archetypes within one person. Ceres represents the entire cycle of nurturing, death and rebirth. So any neediness may be disguised as a dramatic display. Fears of loss could be quite pronounced, even if something precious is coming into being.

Ultimately, no matter what this eclipse brings, the goal will be nurturing with pride, or nurturing pride. Even if there is an ending (Venus and the South Node plus the Full Moon’s association with completion hints at this) there will be something brighter and bolder on the way.

As an aside, Mercury’s Aquarius ingress occurs on the same day as this eclipse. So you’ll also be receiving some fresh news or a radically clear discussion. Mercury in Aquarius’ cool logic can be a nice antidote to Moon/Ceres in Leo’s drama-mama. If the feels become too much, step back and think it through. And, pay attention to the facts.

Overview

Karmic Agreements

January 21st brings a conjunction between Juno and the South Node in Aquarius. Partnership agreements from the past/past life, or agreements that have reached a tipping point, will be emphasized. In the context of Aquarius, you’ll be looking at independence and individuality within a relationship. Insisting on personal freedoms can result in the partnership moving to the next level of integration and mutual pride. Or, it could be time to separate. If a specific partnership isn’t involved, this could also be about your attitude towards freedom and fidelity in a one-on-one context.

Raw Truths

January 24th and 25th see Mercury in Capricorn conjoining Pluto, then making a sextile to Jupiter in Scorpio. Mercury/Pluto digs beneath the rules to reveal the raw truth (or powerful strategy) and Jupiter suggests it can lucrative and positive. The more you discover/say, the further you go. However, the January 28th square between Mercury and Uranus point to upsetting or shocking results. Truth is not easy and discoveries can be disruptive. This doesn’t mean say nothing or close your eyes (you won’t be able to avoid what’s coming) but do be aware of the potential consequences. Mercury will make a gentle sextile to Chiron in Pisces, so there is a sense of the wound being drained by sharp words.

The Bold Leap

On January 26th, Mars leaps into Sagittarius. Action, anger and initiative will speed up and expand. You can go further with this energy – courage/adventure is increased and so is self-righteousness. Here is an antidote to the mid-winter blahs, plus encouragement to push for a belief. However, there’s no guarantee that what you’re pushing for will be in your best interests. Mars in Sag also encourages the disregard of consequences.

Aries

Juno/South Node in your social sector indicates that public partnerships, or an agreement with a friend, might be issues. You may be looking at a relationship ideal that demands a lot of freedom, and the question will be whether or not you can carry it forward. Friends becoming lovers, or vice versa, might be a theme.

Aspects to Mercury in your career sector suggest a key person (with considerable power) or a conversation that defines your next step. Professional announcements, discussions or documents will have a major impact. If you’re able to make use of secret or shared information, you could benefit. However, the square to Uranus in your sign is a caution to be very selective about what you say publicly. You may feel like laying down some hard truths, but the fallout could hit in unpredictable ways. Too, you may be the recipient of some hard truths that rock your professional world.

Mars into your sector of opportunities energizes travel, education, legal matters, publishing and beliefs. This is the adventure transit – maybe it’s time to move on or reach further. What’s next?

Taurus

Juno/South Node in your career sector hi-lights a work relationship/agreement. There could be an ending, or redefinition of the partnership’s status. The key will be how this integrates with, or challenges, your attempts to build a home and family that are a source of pride.

Aspects to Mercury in your sector of opportunities can point to a powerful statement or discovery, involving travel, legal matters, education or publishing. Information will have a big impact in the moment and the future, as it ripples outwards. The long-term impact will be difficult to predict. A partner can be your source of support, inspiration and guidance.

Mars into your sector of shared resources energizes debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or intimacy. More action in these areas can lead to passion, simmering anger or restlessness, especially if you or someone you share resources with are feeling constrained. This transit can suggest that someone else is calling the shots. Try to react consciously rather than impulsively.

Gemini

Juno/South Node in your opportunities sector can see you considering the concept of a relationship agreement. This is big-picture energy, and it may be more about the ideal  (freedom, acceptance) than the reality. How does this stack up against your immediate reality? Too, this can indicate a meeting that develops into a partnership (romantic or business) via travel, education or legal issues.

Aspects to Mercury in your sector of shared resources suggest a tough conversation about finances or intimacy. Too, there could be some uncomfortable psychological breakthroughs. Information will hit suddenly and go deep – there may be some surprising news about what you owe, what your partner has, or what your partner wants. In some cases, you could receive some lucrative financial tips or identify more strategic ways to dig deep and uncover resources. The search for solutions involving work or health will help you out with this one, as surface growth supports changes behind the scenes.

Mars into your relationship sector energizes a partnership. There could be a meeting with someone new, hot and exciting. An existing relationship could be spiced up, or (if there’s existing conflict) anger could be an issue. One person’s urge for more freedom could be the trigger. In some cases, this energy can suggest competition that encourages you to reach beyond your comfort zone.

Cancer

Juno/South Node in your sector of shared resources can raise issues of independence, or differing approaches to fidelity, in an intimate relationship. The key will be how this works for you – can you move forward to a place where you feel confident and secure, or does this undercut you? Shared finances could be another issue – are you both on the same page regarding who contributes what?

Aspects to Mercury in your partnership sector can indicate major conversations about the above. There could be a turning-point discussion that surprises one or both of you. Watch for a change in future goals. Abrupt honesty will be a feature, and while it may shake you up, ultimately it will benefit you to know exactly what the deal is. Too, the surprise could feature some very good news that gives you a reason to celebrate.

Mars into your sector of routine can increase your duties with fast-moving  developments. More will be thrown at you, but you should have an increased surge of energy to handle this. Just make sure that you don’t take on too much – it’s important to prioritize and not gloss over the details in your rush to get it all done. Too, there could be a surge of optimism and vitality, as you push ahead with a new exercise or diet routine.

Leo

Juno/South Node in your partnership sector can indicate the return of a past relationship, or the culmination of an ongoing relationship scenario. The issue will be whether the above can be developed into something that increases your personal pride and confidence, or whether it’s time to say goodbye. Often, people from the past are catalysts for change, rather than keepers.

Aspects to Mercury in your sector of routine suggest a solution, diagnosis or discovery of an error. What’s uncovered can be a good thing, as you lock onto the best strategy for your work and/or domestic life. This is about empowering yourself with information. However, watch for some surprising extras to be revealed – just when you think you’ve got it all nailed down, there will be one more, disruptive discovery. You may need to do some last-minute juggling as you reprioritize.

Mars into your sector of self-expression can fire up your urge to celebrate, indulge or create. This is a boisterous influence with a no-holds-barred feeling – you’ll want what you want, and then some. New attractions can be hot, but not necessarily long-lasting.

Virgo

Juno/South Node in your sector of routine suggests a culmination of unbalanced partnership issues. Areas where one person “serves” the other will be hi-lighted, and it may be time to decide if you’re giving/receiving the appreciation that’s deserved. Too, the reality of a partnership may need to be examined – can you take it further?

Aspects to Mercury in your sector of self-expression suggest a surprising moment when you speak out. A creative or romantic issue may have been simmering in the background, and now it’s time to say what’s on your mind. Know that your words will have tremendous impact, and much of what’s driving you will be below the surface. Nonetheless, this is prime time to deliver your message – you’ll have power and persuasion on your side. With just a bit of awareness of deeper motivations, you could say the thing that changes the game in your favour. Too, there could be some unexpected and powerful news about children/pregnancy/a new attraction.

Mars into your domestic sector can stir up family discord, or efforts to improve/grow your domestic environment. This energy is fast-moving and expansive, and may feel a bit disruptive. But if you can manage a balance between growth and priorities (embrace change but maintain your focus on what matters most) this can be an energizing shake-up for home and family.

Libra

Juno/South Node in your sector of self-expression can trigger an intense attraction with a fated, “meant to be partners” feeling (time will tell if this is so). Or, perhaps you’ll be looking at the intersection between you as a partner and you as a lover, parent or artist. The freedom to be you in a committed relationship is emphasized.

Aspects to Mercury in your domestic sector can present an important family discussion, home document or realization about the past. Digging into the details and thoroughly exploring the truth can enhance your emotional and financial security – excellent for a home business, buying/selling or having a cards-on-the-table conversation. However, some of what’s revealed may shock you or disrupt others, especially if a domestic partnership is involved. Some truths can leave you feeling unbalanced, even as they reveal what’s always been there.

Mars into your communication sector can add to the above, as discussions, emails and the exchange of information are fired up. This is assertive, enthusiastic energy, and the delivery of information can be overwhelming. Good if you need to stand up for yourself, speak out or actively search for solutions. However, be aware of the potential for volatility. Discussions with siblings may be an issue.

Scorpio

Juno/South Node in your domestic sector suggests a turning point in a domestic relationship, or a return to a previous partnership. Old issues around one partner’s desire for freedom, or conflicts between personal and career goals, may come up. Too, you could be looking at the contrast between your public status/reputation versus what goes on behind closed doors.

Aspects to Mercury in your communication sector (including the sextile to Jupiter in your sign) support your research into something hidden, and/or your communication of deep truths. There’s something essential for you to say or learn, and you’ll have the confidence and energy to push this to its natural conclusion. However, be aware that some of what’s revealed may shock you or put others on the defensive. Raw truths are not easy to hear, and once it’s out there you won’t be able to take it back. So think before you speak, and if you’re investigating/asking, make sure you really want to know.

Mars into your sector of personal resources can increase your ambitions to make more money or push for personal comfort/satisfaction. This energy encourages the active pursuit of what you want, but in some cases, you may end up spending more than anticipated.

Sagittarius

Juno/South Node in your communication sector can present an agreement whose time has come – it will either advance and expand, or end. Specifics about written terms, both partners’ understanding of the terms, or issues about going public/making it official may be pronounced. This could involve any partnership agreement (romantic or professional).

Aspects to Mercury in your sector of personal resources suggest a lucrative financial idea or contract. Or, there could be an empowering discussion/declaration about your essential needs – now is the time to speak up about what you want. Watch for background support or an intuitive sense of what you should say. However, even though you’ll have a substantial amount of power on your side, know that you can push it too far or demand too much. Know when to say “enough.” Too, you could be surprised by a last minute change in the details, or a sudden discovery that clarifies what you’re really getting.

Mars into your sign boosts your energy, enthusiasm and ability to start something new.  Watch for a surge of renewed activity, physical health and the initiative to pursue what you want.

Capricorn

Juno/South Node can focus on financial agreements or the emotional/financial terms between partners. There will be a need to step forward from total independence (with no compromises) towards a sharing and merging of resources. Trust and mutual pride will also be issues.

Aspects to Mercury in your sign grant you significant communicative powers. You’ll have persuasion, magnetism and conviction on your side, as well as a sharp eye for what needs to be uncovered and spoken about. You may be going public with some shocking truths based in the past. Or, home/family issues may finally be illuminated. Know that what comes out will probably not be comfortable, but Pluto in your sign suggests that you’ll have the ability to spin this (or survive this) with aplomb.

Mars in your hidden sector can see you banking your fires, resting up or pulling back and waiting for the right time to strike. Even though the above Mercury aspects give you verbal ammo, the time for direct action is yet to come. What you say or learn may require a time out, as you sort through the options and preserve your energy.

Aquarius

Juno/South Node in your sign suggests a culmination of partnership issues, involving your independence versus a specific relationship. Or, your ability to trust and balance your freedom with another’s desires.

Aspects to Mercury in your hidden sector can trigger an abrupt reveal or realization. Powerful information can emerge from the shadows, or a private conversation can have disruptive consequences. At the same time, background issues that are uncovered can lead to empowerment and expansion, regarding your future. What’s said behind the scenes (important secrets or key strategies) can be crucial to your forward movement.

Mars into your social sector energizes activities with friends, groups or the public. Great for getting out and circulating, trying new activities or engaging others on an adventurous/optimistic level.

Pisces

Juno/South Node in your hidden sector can confront you with old relationship ideals/fantasies or a partnership with heavy karmic issues of sacrifice. The challenge will be to bring the relationship or fantasy into the real world. Does it work in your daily life?

Aspects to Mercury in your social sector (including the sextile to Chiron in your sign) suggest surprising public statements/conversations (with a friend or group). There may be a shocking reveal, or what you say/learn could change your public reputation. On the plus side, these aspects are excellent for expanding your knowledge, reach and perspective – even if everything you learn isn’t pleasant, these influences will open up new windows and unexpected opportunities, while helping you confront and overcome an insecurity. Areas such as travel, education, legal matters or publishing could benefit.

Mars into your career sector can boost your ambition, job search or ability to impress higher ups. If you’ve been lacking initiative, or you’ve been stuck in a rut, this energy could be just what you need to push you forward with a new sense of possibility.

Pallas’ Transit Of Taurus: Solid Strategies

pexels-photo-207205.jpeg

Pallas has come ’round to Taurus again, entering this sign on January 19th at 9:29 PM EST. I posted about her Taurus transit last year, and the same themes apply – strategies are grounded in the moment. Plans/solutions are simple and based on essentials.

Last year, Pallas stationed Rx in Taurus, but this year she moves through fairly quickly, entering Gemini on March 29th, 2018. But her transit will still be significant, thanks to a square with the Sun that marks the start of Aquarius season. There will be a challenge in planning for now versus the future. Do you need to make sense of what you have in front of you, or do you need a more detached perspective? This will be about innovation versus what you know.

Either way, Pallas in Taurus is about making the strategy real. It’s no longer theoretical. You must be able to touch the pattern you’re visualizing. And, it has to grow. Taurus is Fixed (supposedly unmoving), but it’s a fertile Earth sign- this will result in an eventual harvest.
