Overview

Ceres in Leo stations direct on March 19th, triggering the next stage in a chapter of nurturing or endings. Ceres’ association with the entire cycle of nurturing and loss always combines themes of letting go with hanging onto what’s precious. There’s a season for growth, but that season can’t continue indefinitely. You may be creating something powerful now, or accepting that it’s time to say goodbye.

March 20th brings a conjunction between Mercury and Venus in Aries – sizzling words/information will definitely sound good when attraction unites with communication. Followed by the Sun’s Aries ingress (the Spring Equinox) this starts things off on a vibrant note – new life, new attraction, new potential. But Mercury will station Rx on on March 22nd, so what you learn/communicate will not be straightforward. Mercury Rx means more questions, reviews and changes of heart. The initial spark (regarding a financial, creative or emotional issue) will need to be examined more closely. Mercury stations direct on April 15th, so full progress may be delayed until then.

There was a previous Mercury/Venus conjunction on March 4th (in Pisces) so these two dates may be connected. Mercury/Venus in Pisces was the romantic promise or dreamy idea. Now it’s struggling to emerge in the new-born fire of Aries.

March 23rd to 25th sees a square from Pluto and an inconjunct from Jupiter to Venus. Pluto will pump up Venus in Aries’ I-want-it-now desires, but the trigger will be complicated themes of power and fear of losing control. Pluto turns it into a survival issue, where what’s wanted feels like life or death. The discordant inconjunct from Jupiter (expansion) in Pluto-ruled Scorpio will exaggerate this. Keep your cravings in check, and keep your eye on the power plays of others. How much do you want this, and how is your happiness going to be impacted?

A square from Mars in Capricorn to the Mars-ruled Aries Sun on March 24th boosts urgency around the above. Sun/Mars is pure motivation, but the square is tense. If you’re not careful, you can push too fast/too soon. There’s so much energy here, but keep in mind that complete progress is not likely until Mercury stations direct. Focus on doing what you can – there will be some obstacles you can plough through. But accept that certain details will not be wrapped up immediately. You’ll be asked to exercise patience in impatient times.

Aries

Ceres direct in your sector of self-expression signals progress around an issue involving children, a creative project or something special that you’ve been nurturing. This could be a final chapter (ending) or a time to move forward with the next stage of what you’re creating. Watch for an increased sense of pride, confidence or release.

Mercury/Venus in your sign, and the Sun’s entrance to your sign kicks off a powerful new chapter. A desired potential/bright idea (involving romance, money, self-esteem or a creative project) can grab your attention, but Mercury Rx cautions that there’s more to consider. Expect delays or a change of heart/mind -it’s still valid, but the process won’t be quick or straightforward. Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your hidden sector. Has something been revealed?

Meanwhile, aspects to Venus in your sign from Pluto and Jupiter can trigger cravings for success, status, money or control. A professional/financial goal, or new attraction, can devolve into struggles for power. Watch for manipulation from those in authority, and use caution if you feel compelled to push past certain boundaries to get what you want. Unconscious issues can exaggerate things, so you end up spending/expecting more than is reasonable. Mars’ square to the Sun in your sign will boost your professional ambition, but make sure you’re prepared for the consequences if you trigger someone’s defensiveness.

Taurus

Ceres direct in your domestic sector signals the next step as you grow your family, home business or home environment. Issues around the care of a specific family member may be emphasized- plans for the future could fall into place, or there could be a goodbye.

The Mercury/Venus conjunction and Sun’s entrance to your hidden sector can trigger a hidden potential/desire, or spark a new development that’s still in the dream stage. Secrets or unspoken (but honest) wants may be stirred up, and Mercury Rx can trigger doubts and more questions. Allow the process to unfold, and don’t try to plan things out just yet. Intuition is your best tool. Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your social sector. Has something that was previously public retreated behind the scenes?

Aspects to Venus from Pluto and Jupiter can add urgency to the above potentials. Partnership issues can be exaggerated, as a significant person captures your imagination or urges you to consider the impossible, However, know that wanting something/someone really badly doesn’t mean you’ll get what you want – much is still undefined, and there will be several layers to work through before you get to the core truth. The Sun/Mars square can add fuel to your background fire with hyper- idealized ambitions that may include travel, legal issues, education, a cause or belief. The passion is real, but the path it’s taking you down is not quite clear. Move forward, but do so with caution.

Gemini

Ceres direct in your communication sector suggests forward movement with a creative idea. There can be progress in counselling (nurturing words). Relationships with siblings can improve, as you come to an understanding about certain dynamics. Too, there can be an acceptance (verbal or written) of an ending as a cycle winds down.

The Mercury/Venus conjunction, and the Sun’s entrance into your social sector suggests exciting new developments with friends, groups or the public. A public announcement, performance or meeting can be positive – something you want is up for discussion. Too, there can be a hot introduction to someone very appealing. But Mercury Rx indicates that it will be awhile before you see results. Or, after the initial introduction/attraction, there may be some questions. In some cases, Mercury Rx can reintroduce you to an attraction from the past. Overall, the theme here is a closer look a new social dynamics or the content of a friendship/association. You may have to dig deeper to summon the necessary courage and initiative regarding your connection to the public. Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your career sector. How has the focus of professional possibilities shifted?

Aspects to Venus from Pluto and Jupiter can trigger unsettling undercurrents in the above, as jealousy, fear of loss or the desire for control amplify social dynamics. Be aware that what’s hidden can become very public. At the same time, you’ll be highly motivated to push towards what/who you want, but know that your expectations may be inflated. The Sun/Mars square will pump up your public ambitions , but buried anger/frustration may be part of the fuel. There’s a ton of energy here, but you need to be fully conscious of how you’re directing it.

Cancer

Ceres direct in your sector of personal resources can put you on track regarding nurturing of self, earned money or personal values. A key issue involving your happiness, security or survival can gain momentum, as you move forward with an increased sense of pride and confidence in what you have and what you deserve. Fears of not having enough or losing what you do have can also be tackled, but in some cases, you may have to let go of something that was never yours to begin with.

The Mercury/Venus conjunction and the Sun’s entrance into your career sector can kick off a surge of ambition and hope regarding a new job, existing job, career path or business promotion. A specific professional relationship may be hi-lighted. Or, you may have some new ideas regarding your professional image. Initially you’ll be off to a quick start, but Mercury Rx can slow you down as mixed messages, delays, errors or questions about professional goals/information come up. In some cases, you could reconnect with a professional contact from the past. In all cases, the theme is a closer look at your professional freedom and courage – do you have what you need, and what it takes, to support your goals and ambitions? Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your opportunities sector. How do long-range dreams/hopes stack up when you attempt to activate them?

Aspects to Venus from Pluto and Jupiter can stir up power struggles with a competitor or partner. Issues of dominance or manipulation may be triggered, along with your expanded hopes, desires and enthusiasm for the future. There is significant potential here for you to advance, but keep an eye on the other person’s motivations. Too, it could be your motivations that need adjusting. The Sun/Mars square can trigger anger, or you could be aggressively challenged by someone. But if you’re fully aware of what’s happening, know that this energy can also fuel you towards the future. The key will be focusing on where you want to go rather than how the other person is acting.

Leo

Whether you’re nurturing yourself, someone else or something essential that you want to show off, Ceres direct in your sign gets you moving onto the next stage of a creative or parental issue. Watch for a growing sense of confidence in what you have or who you are.

The Mercury/Venus conjunction and the Sun’s entrance into your sector of opportunities kicks off an exciting possibility in the areas of travel, education, legal matters, publishing or long-distance romance. The news/conversation may be promising, but Mercury Rx will trigger delays, questions or changes in plans.  This can be especially frustrating if you’re exploring a brand new area – don’t worry about planning it all out for now. Mercury Rx’s process of revision can take you through a deeper investigation of what you believe or what’s true. Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your sector of shared resources – something buried, private or uncomfortable (regarding what you share or owe) has expanded. The question will be, how far can you take this?

Aspects to Venus from Pluto and Jupiter can intensify your enthusiasm for what’s new/unexplored, but can also trigger difficult issues involving legal matters, justice, or manipulation. Beliefs about what you want may be obsessively strong, but don’t lose perspective. The Sun/Mars square can increase your drive to power towards the above goals, but keep in mind that things will slow down with Mercury Rx, and your actions will not be neatly aligned with distant ideals/plans.

Virgo

Ceres direct in your hidden sector is a subtle influence, but you may experience a shift regarding loss, endings or releasing a specific fear about what you can’t control. As you move forward, watch for a renewed sense of your ultimate goal – one door closes, another opens.

The Mercury/Venus conjunction and the Sun’s entrance into your sector of shared resources can trigger intimate conversations or financial opportunities. However, Mercury Rx cautions you to look deeper, ask the penetrating questions and allow other layers of possibility to emerge. Although the issue may appear to be straightforward, there are deeper dynamics at play, regarding what you really want versus what the other person can give you. Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your partnership sector – you’re now going beneath the surface of a relationship issue.

Aspects to Venus from Pluto and Jupiter can trigger jealousy, possessiveness, intense passion or fear of loss. These issues will be exaggerated by what you learn, but keep in mind that your perspective may be distorted because you can’t see the whole picture. Or, your expectations are unrealistic. Be extra careful if you’re spending, taking on a loan or loaning money. The Sun/Mars square can stir up unforeseen aggression or competitiveness, from either you or someone close to you. There’s something/someone you have your eye on, but the initial push to get what you want can get bogged down in psychological or financial dynamics.

Libra

Ceres direct in your social sector suggests a shift in a relationship with a friend, group or your connection to the public. What you’ve been nurturing on a public level can now either forward. Or, it may be time to move on.

The Mercury/Venus conjunction and the Sun’s entrance into your partnership sector can spark a new attraction with relationship potential, or a new chapter in an existing relationship. But Mercury Rx can put developments on pause, and see you and the other person revisiting past issues -a promise or off-hand remark may have to be examined. In some cases, Mercury Rx can bring up a past relationship.  Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your sector of routine- issues of service/sacrifice (even if love and excellent intentions were involved) will now be readjusted to see if a balance can be attained. You may be confronted with the results of promising/giving more than you should have.

Aspects to Venus from Pluto and Jupiter can stir up projections or crises involving family and the past. Consider how your current relationship reflects the changes that are happening on a deeper level. Watch for unbalanced expressions of affection based on insecurity. The Sun/Mars square can see you pushing the other person for results. Too, developments at home/with family can stir up partnership conflict – know that you won’t see final results until Mercury stations direct.

Scorpio

Ceres direct in your career sector can heat things up regarding a project or home business, as you feel a renewed sense of purpose around what’s most precious to you. Nurturing future success, your status or a professional relationship is favoured.

The Mercury/Venus conjunction and the Sun’s entrance into your sector of routine sees you getting busy with a new work or health regime. This can support Ceres direct, as you learn about a new solution or intriguing path to improvement. However, Mercury Rx cautions you to slow down and pay attention to the details. Something might have been overlooked, or corrections may be necessary before you can implement this. Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your sector of self-expression- something worth celebrating caught your attention then, and now you’re ready to get to work and make it happen.

Aspects to Venus from Pluto and Jupiter (in your sign) can urge you to take on more than you can handle, or expect more improvements/results than are realistic. There’s a ton of energy here, but you need to be aware of how much you can realistically implement or fix. In some cases there may be pressure for you to deliver before you have a full understanding of what you’re doing. This applies to work, your obligations to someone else, or your own health regime. The Sun/Mars square can trigger more work, conflicts about methodology or pressure to act quickly. Remember that Mercury Rx will bring delays, so factor this into your plan. On the plus side, you will have a burst of energy to handle whatever’s thrown at you.

Sagittarius

Ceres direct in your sector of opportunities suggests forward movement with something you’ve been nurturing in the areas of travel, education, legal matters or publication. Ideals or justice pertaining to children, sharing power or losing power may be hi-lighted.

The Mercury/Venus conjunction and the Sun’s entrance to your sector of self-expression can emphasize good news/potentials involving creative work, a new romance or children. Something bold and desirable is off to a fresh start, but Mercury Rx can see you looking more closely at what you hear or express publicly. Too, a celebration or risky endeavour may need some fine-tuning. In some cases, a flirtation from the past may reconnect. Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your domestic sector – something private or family-oriented is emerging, and you’re ready to shine a spotlight on it.

Aspects to Venus from Jupiter and Pluto will increase your desire for attention. Spending could be an issue, as you indulge or throw caution to the winds. You may be driven by the vague but unmistakable urge that you deserve this, so why shouldn’t you go all the way? Know that these influences can encourage you to overdo it. But if carefully handled, you can make significant gains (financial or emotional). The Sun/Mars square can up your competitive spirit or urge to go after who/what you want. Great for promoting your work or having fun, but again, exercise some restraint.

Capricorn

Ceres direct in your sector of shared resources suggests the next chapter in a story involving loss, grief, learning to trust or learning to let go. Understand that you only have so much control over what you’ve nurtured. In some cases, an intimate relationship can deepen as trust grows.

The Mercury/Venus conjunction and the Sun’s entrance into your domestic sector hi-light good news involving home, family, a home business, relocation or home renovation. But Mercury Rx suggests what you discuss or learn will not be straightforward – issues from the past could play into this, or there could be delays/a change in plans. A family member might need convincing, or maybe you’ll have second thoughts. Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your communication sector – what was discussed then is gaining momentum, despite Mercury Rx’s delays.

Aspects to Venus from Pluto in your sign, and Jupiter, can see you pushing to make the above happen. However, know that certain things will not become clear until Mercury stations direct – avoid controlling or manipulative tactics. You have a lot of power on your side, but you can also do some damage if you push too hard. Mars in your sign square the Sun will give you the energy to plough ahead regarding home/family developments, and you’re certainly not afraid to get started on a domestic project. You can accomplish a ton, but domestic disputes are also a risk if you forget how to compromise. Does it all have to go your way?

Aquarius

Ceres direct in your partnership sector emphasizes issues of love, loss and freedom. As the tide shifts, you may experience the release of a partner, or the release of fears of loss which will then allow you to nurture, and be nurtured, with absolute trust. This can also be the time to walk away from projected mother issues.

The Mercury/Venus conjunction and the Sun’s entrance to your communication sector can introduce a sparkling new contact, idea, email or flirtation. This will look and sound good, but Mercury Rx says that nothing is set in stone just yet. Be prepared for questions or second thoughts. If you’re promoting, launching or reaching out to someone, know that your words may be misinterpreted, or you may have to revise what you said. Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your sector of personal resources – ideas/potentials involving earned money or security are ready to be launched, but the path will not be straightforward.

Aspects to Venus from Jupiter and Pluto can stir up hidden power plays/manipulations which erupt publicly. But what’s spoken will not be the whole story, even though the words will be quite bold. Pay attention to the real motivations behind possessiveness,  jealousy or “compliments” with a cutting edge. The Sun/Mars square can trigger arguments/verbal edginess that are also based on what you’re not fully aware of.

Pisces

Ceres direct in your sector of routine suggests progress with a health or work issue. Self-care, diet or nurturing of someone else can move to the next stage of pride and power. How does your light shine, in this situation?

The Mercury/Venus conjunction and the Sun’s move into your sector of personal resources can introduce a juicy potential regarding earned money, material goods or emotional satisfaction. A new discussion about salary or sources of income can be promising. But Mercury Rx means more details need to be sorted through, as you reconsider the terms of what you want. Consider how the current Mercury/Venus conjunction connects to the March 4th conjunction in your sign- you’re attempting to make a primary goal real by energizing what’s most important to you.

Aspects to Venus from Jupiter and Pluto can can encourage insecurity, overspending or an increased desire for more. What are you craving? Recognize that it’s not all about the perceived goal (or person)  – how can you provide for yourself what you’re missing? The Sun/Mars square can motivate you to do just that, which is great. You know what you want, and you’re ready to go after it. Just remember that full progress won’t happen until Mercury is direct.

Overview

March 13th brings a square from Saturn in Capricorn to Venus in Aries. Venus’ bold expressions of love, want and self-esteem will be restricted by Saturn’s rules. This aspect suggests you won’t get what you want (at least not right away) or extra work will be demanded if you want something. Either way, you’ll probably feel unhappy or unattractive. But on the same day we have a hopeful trine from the Pisces Sun to Jupiter Rx in Scorpio. So here’s your help- Jupiter Rx’s shift in perspective/pause/narrowing of scope can bring benefits. The key will be moving with what’s unfolding naturally. If Saturn is blocking you, go where the current is flowing.

The Sun/Jupiter Rx trine is part of March 17th’s Pisces New Moon, which conjoins Wounded Healer Chiron. While Jupiter’s assistance (and path of least resistance) will help, a square from Mars in Sagittarius to this Moon will hurt (Mars makes an exact square to Chiron on March 14th). New beginnings won’t be entirely pleasant, as they will involve a weakness or wound. Anger or pushy actions will be the trigger. Whatever happens, know that resistance or trying to force a desired outcome will not work. Jupiter Rx’s trine encourages a step back or a deeper look, and you can uncover hidden benefits this way. Chiron in Pisces is about acceptance of the wound, then release. There may be a blow to the ego – Sun/Chiron in Pisces is the ultimate release of ego via an embrace of vulnerability.

However, even if victimization comes up during this New Moon, don’t think that you’re meant to give up. Mars enters Capricorn after the New Moon, so there’s an immediate shift as actions/initiatives get real. If Mars in Sagittarius was about agitating for an ideal/exploring, Mars in Capricorn is about working to make a desired outcome real. This is focused ambition, serious effort and manifestation via a climb to the top. Mars in Capricorn uses resistance to fuel progress. So whatever this New Moon brings, know that you’re encouraged to move onwards and upwards.

Although this New Moon occurs on March 17th, the immediate influence can extend from March 13th to March 18th (when the Sun/Chiron conjunction is exact).

Aries

Venus in your sign square Saturn can indicate pressure to succeed or restrict your self-expression. Rules can shut you down or make you feel less than desirable. Too, you may be on the hot seat to prove that you’ve got what it takes. But Sun/Jupiter Rx suggests there’s help available (although it may not be immediately obvious) in the form of private support or inspiration. Watch for a shift in what you share with another, or what’s being given to you.

Sun/Jupiter Rx rolls forward to the New Moon/Chiron in your hidden sector, which suggests a new development that mixes hope and disappointment. On the one hand, you may have to give something up to get something more – this can include an ending or acknowledgment that you don’t have control over an area of pain. The square to Mars suggests your efforts around travel, education, legal matters, exploration or publishing may stir up awkward secrets or hidden fears. A step forward into the unknown may be fraught with anxiety, but the trine to Jupiter Rx urges you to put your faith in someone you trust, or concentrate more fully on background financial/emotional resources. You have what you need to get through this, and you may discover this as you adjust your inner perspective.

Mars’ entrance into your career sector immediately shifts the focus away from formless anxieties to the realities about what you do have control over. You can gain traction through your actions/ambitions at work, in a job search, or as you express authority. Focus on the future and let the rest take care of itself.

Taurus

Venus in your hidden sector square Saturn suggests doubts, fears or disappointments, as a background attraction/potential receives a reality check. You may discover that you can only go so far with what you want, or that the dream is not aligned with the real world. Too, this could be about you struggling to manifest an ultimate goal as you’re confronted with legal or logistical barriers. Sun/Jupiter Rx offers assistance in the form of all relationships – one-on-one and group connections can be immensely encouraging as a specific area of growth is reevaluated/intensified, or forward progress is temporarily slowed. Yes, even a slowdown can benefit, as it gives you (and the other person) time to breath and assimilate what’s happened so far.

Sun/Jupiter Rx leads to the New Moon/Chiron in your social sector. New beginnings involving friends, groups or the public may feature a high degree of empathy and compassion, but the square from Mars suggests issues involving money, intimacy or psychological tension will stir things up below the surface and result in some public embarrassments. Fortunately, the trine to Jupiter Rx suggests that a partner has your back. Or, your ability to make the right connections can smooth things over.

Mars’ entrance into your sector of opportunities helps you move past any public hurts by shifting your focus to what’s on the horizon. Travel, education, legal matters, exploration or publishing are all ready for your actions – it’s time to accelerate while getting serious about your next step.

Gemini

Venus in your social sector square Saturn can bring up some unpleasant moments with friends, groups or the public. Your fears/insecurities (about being liked or being good enough) could be triggered. Too, you could encounter limits or rejections in social relationships. A public project will be sharply defined by heavy responsibilities. Despite this, Sun/Jupiter Rx suggests that your work, future goals and relationships with those in authority are in good shape. Your ongoing contributions, routines or improvements will feed smoothly into your quest for success, and there may be a specific area that demands your increased focus. In some cases, a pause in your workload will allow you to make more progress.

Sun/Jupiter Rx’s influences will blend with the New Moon/Chiron in your career sector. New developments involving goals, ambitions, a job search or relations with management can leave you feeling exposed or weakened. The square to Mars suggests one person (a partner or competitor) can stir up painful issues and make you doubt if you’ve got what it takes to succeed. The trine to Jupiter Rx is a reminder that your daily work won’t be overlooked, and will be a crucial part of the future success that you are capable of.

As Mars moves into your sector of shared resources, you’ll be digging beneath the surface in order to get a stronger grip on emerging developments. Your energy will become more intense and focused, as you get real about money, unconscious motivations or the intimate core of a relationship.

Cancer

Venus in your career sector square Saturn can hi-light a key area where you feel you have to struggle to achieve or be recognized for your accomplishments. Limits or rules involving a partnership or competitor can impact your professional image, or restrict your professional relationships. In some cases, your professional image/connections may be sharply defined. Sun/Jupiter Rx urges you to focus on one area of creativity or joy – you’ll either be putting more effort into making something desirable happen, or you’ll be reevaluating the good thing (or pulling back on recent indulgences). Whatever happens, know that this shift in energies can help you achieve distant goals and increase your faith in the future. Despite certain restrictions, your growth is not limited.

Sun/Jupiter Rx leads to the New Moon/Chiron in your sector of opportunities. A key development involving travel, education, legal matters, publishing or belief will be tested, as the square to Mars triggers painful issues involving work or health. While you may want to reach higher, immediate realities can’t be ignored. However, the trine to Jupiter Rx encourages you to keep focusing on one area of enjoyment/creativity, or pull back (if you’ve been overdoing it) – this will allow you to focus more energy on your next steps.

Mars’ move into your relationship sector shifts the focus to a more balanced expression of action and initiative – a specific partnership may be the issue, or this could be about your efforts to balance what you give with what you get in return. This energy is  ambitious and matter-of-fact, and will accelerate a partnership.

Leo

Venus in your sector of opportunities square Saturn can impose frustrating limits on a long-distance romance, travel, education, legal matters or publishing. A positive/tempting potential will be curbed by work or health restrictions – what you must do will get in the way of what you want to do. However, Sun/Jupiter Rx suggests turning inwards for a deeper shot of faith in the areas of home, family or inner strength. Turning to a specific person or issue from your past may help, as will streamlining your efforts to expand home/family issues. As you step back in your personal life, you may stumble over a hidden resource.

Sun/Jupiter Rx brings you to the New Moon/Chiron in your sector of shared resources. Watch for a deeply sensitive issue involving intimacy, finances or buried fears/compulsions to be stirred up by the square to Mars. Old baggage and new concerns about loss/not having enough will mingle, and your risky actions could leave a few bruises. But the trine to Jupiter Rx insists that you have more going for you than you realize – take another look at an issue from your childhood, or something that you’ve been trying to grow in your private life.

Mars’ move into your sector of routine adds more fuel to your fire and gives you the practical tools to move on from any painful beginnings. While it’s true that things may not have worked out ideally, you’ve got immediate access to solid solutions and the drive to make things happen. Get to work.

Virgo

Venus in your sector of shared resources square Saturn can trigger painful limits around debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or intimacy. What you want to share or give will be restricted, either because the other person doesn’t want what you’re offering, you don’t have enough, or you feel inadequate. Sun/Jupiter Rx is a reminder that a partner really is on your side. Even if things are limited on a deeper level, look for optimistic conversations that can help the two of you find a workaround. This may involve returning to a previous issue, or narrowing your plans. A promise may need to be reworked, but it’s still valid.

Sun/Jupiter Rx lays the groundwork for the New Moon/Chiron in your partnership sector. A new development can raise some awkward questions about family or domestic progress, and the square to Mars suggests anger/actions from the past. The more you push for a resolution, the more pain will be triggered – this is not something you can fix instantly. However, the trine to Jupiter Rx says that open communication is not only possible, it’s essential. There may be a key issue/secret that needs to be examined more thoroughly.

Mars’ move into your sector of self-expression adds more positive energy, as you’re motivated to work towards something desirable. Rather than floundering in the past, you’re ready for what’s next, especially if this means you can act from a place of confidence. Continue to take focused steps towards what you want, even if the first few steps were difficult.

Libra

Venus in your partnership sector square Saturn emphasizes limits and responsibilities in a relationship. There may be extra work for the two of you (involving home or family). Or, your partner may not be on board with your personal goals. Sun/Jupiter Rx encourages you to keep working at it, as a shift in how you handle your money (or what you base your self-esteem on) can power you through issues involving work or health.

Sun/Jupiter Rx leads to the New Moon/Chiron in your sector of routine – new beginnings can be marked by awkward conversations, the reveal of an error or painful arguments (courtesy of the square to Mars) about unbalanced give and take. Health or work issues can be trouble spots. However, the trine to Jupiter Rx is a reminder that a change in perspective, or a more streamlined approach, to money/possessions/security can ease you through the initial trouble spots. You may need to look differently at what you thought you wanted.

Mars’ move into your domestic sector keeps the progress going, as home/family developments accelerate. Watch for a business-like approach to home renovations, family issues or relocation. This is about getting back to basics and making changes at the root level.

Scorpio

Venus in your sector of routine square Saturn can hi-light a work or health difficulty. Problems can include restrictive rules around what you want or increased work load. Too, you could be challenged by extra pressure to give, with no evidence of compensation. Despite this, Sun trine Jupiter Rx in your sign encourages you to keep striving for a desired goal (be it creative or romantic). Jupiter Rx’s pause, review or deeper focus on one area will be an essential part of your progress.

Sun/Jupiter Rx leads to the New Moon/Chiron in your sector of self-expression. New beginnings will feature a poignant mix of longing (for success, attention, love) and hurtful reminders of what you feel you don’t have enough of (due to the square to Mars).  You may be motivated to put yourself out there, but the initial response to your efforts will make you feel insecure. A reminder that the trine to Jupiter Rx in your sign says that your ongoing change of priorities or the narrowing of your field of vision/interest will focus your energy in a beneficial way, while boosting your chance of future success.

Mars’ move into your communication sector gets you thinking/talking about that success. You may not have achieved everything you wanted right away, but you’ve got the drive to learn more, demand more and make your voice heard.

Sagittarius

Venus in your sector of self-expression square Saturn can be a bit of a downer. A celebration, new attraction, creative effort or issues with children can be restricted by financial and/or emotional limits. There may be brief dent in your confidence. However, Sun/Jupiter Rx offers some background support in the form of increased focus on a secret or undeveloped potential. Even if this potential is put on hold, the energetic shift can work in your favour. Too, there can be an intensified dive into private time or intuitive exploration that buoys you up.

Sun/Jupiter Rx leads to the New Moon/Chiron in your domestic sector. The square from Mars in your sign suggests painful family arguments or a trigger of old wounds. Your efforts can stir up something uncomfortable and deeply rooted. Renovations or relocation can also start out on a difficult note. Know that pushing harder will not work. The trine to Jupiter Rx suggests that a more accepting approach is preferable – go with the path of least resistance.

Mars’ move into your sector of personal resources will add personal ambition in the areas of earned money, self-esteem and getting your basic needs met. This can help you strategize effectively when it comes to looking out for yourself and getting serious about what you own/earn.

Capricorn

Venus in your domestic sector square Saturn in your sign will hi-light a key home or family challenge. You may be attempting to lay down the law or control an outcome. Or, you could encounter limits around what you want to happen at home. Sun/Jupiter Rx encourages you to reach out to a specific friend or public contact – a recent shift in this area (involving intensified questions or a withdrawal) can uncover surprising benefits, and perhaps a loophole.

Sun/Jupiter Rx leads to the New Moon/Chiron in your communication sector. New developments will include a key conversation, realization or issue with siblings, and the square to Mars suggests hidden or unconscious triggers (involving anger/resentment) could stir up some painful issues. What you learn could leave you feeling vulnerable, but the trine to Jupiter Rx is a reminder that more questions, or a change of perspective regarding what you thought was true, can actually smooth things over.

Mars’ move into your sign adds even more benefits, with a surge of courage and determination – you’ll have more than enough energy to move past this awkward beginning and do what needs to be done.

Aquarius

Venus in your communication sector square Saturn can trigger a block around a conversation/disagreement, or in your own writing/thinking process. Rather than trying to push past the block, know that Sun/Jupiter Rx can provide inspiration or a workaround via an alternative career goal, or a revised approach to money/success.

Sun/Jupiter Rx leads to the New Moon/Chiron in your sector of personal resources. New developments involving earned money, self-esteem and security will include the recognition of what you’re missing, or don’t have enough of. A prompt from others (friends, groups, a public contact) can trigger your insecurity (or panic) but know that the trine to Jupiter Rx is urging you to consider a different path. Slowdowns or adjusted perspective involving a job, career goals or approach to authority are meant to redirect your attention to something more lucrative.

Mars’ move into your hidden sector continues the shift, as you pull back or bide your time. Certain ambitions may not have worked out, and now you can bank your fires as you come up with a new plan. Or, it may simply be time to rest.

Pisces

Venus in your sector of personal resources square Saturn can hi-light a financial or emotional deficit. What you want (or how you want to feel) will be limited, but the Sun in your sign trine Jupiter Rx can bring an unexpected boost. Events involving travel, exploration, faith, education, legal matters or publishing have shifted or paused, and this can open your eyes to deeper potentials that you weren’t aware of.

Sun/Jupiter Rx leads to the New Moon/Chiron in your sign, and the square from Mars suggests new developments can leave you feeling exposed, insecure or hurt. Someone in authority may push you too hard. Or, your own ambitions/actions (in the areas of career or future goals) may trip you up. The trine to Jupiter Rx is a reminder that a change of plans, pause in expansion or question of faith can actually open up something more/better.

Mars’ move into your social sector sees energized contacts with friends, groups or the public. Your next step (after the initial shaky start) will be to work your contacts, or work for concrete change on a social level.

Jupiter Retrograde in Scorpio: Putting Darkness in Perspective

  Bruegel

Bruegel

Jupiter stations retrograde at 23 deg Scorpio on March 8th, 11:45 PM EST.

As the planet of big expansion moves in reverse, the deep, essential growth that’s taken place since Jupiter entered Scorpio on October 10th, 2017 will either pause or intensify in one area.

Taboo issues that Jupiter has brought to the surface may be put on hold, and you’ll have the space to recalibrate your perspective. Jupiter in Scorpio can be overwhelming – you may have been drowning in the intensity of an immersive situation, but now Jupiter Rx will encourage you to come up for air.

In some cases, you may return to what was first exposed –  questions will emerge about the truth and wisdom of what you’ve learned. Yes, it was raw and pushed the boundaries, but what does that mean, exactly? What happens after you hit the bottom of the rabbit hole? You can get sucked into the richness of brutal exploration and the sharing of dark things, but eventually you have to acknowledge an end. Jupiter Rx’s pause can be a sign that this is as far as you’re meant to go (for now). Stop, breath and put the knowledge you’ve gained into context.

If the growth of something  pauses, know that it’s time to take stock of what’s come into your life since Jupiter first entered Scorpio. Use this energy to refine what Jupiter’s brought you – Scorpio is about absolute truth and power that’s based on inner resources. Purge anything that’s not totally honest, essential for your evolution and honourably powerful (that means no manipulation or destructive obsessions).

However, if there is an intensification, it will happen in one area and that will be your cue to look even deeper and concentrate on that thing. Perhaps you’ll be examining a death, a profound question of faith or optimism in the darkest place. Sometimes Jupiter’s growth means details are overlooked; Jupiter Rx is the time to catch what you missed by peeling back yet another layer of shadow.

Jupiter’s retrograde will cover 23 to 13 degrees Scorpio, so anything at these degrees of the Fixed or Water signs will be reviewed, paused or intensified. Note that Mars stationed direct at 23 deg Scorpio on June 29th, 2016. This was part of Mars’ Rx which covered Sagittarius and Scorpio, and the Scorpio portion was about getting at the true motivations behind action, anger and passion. Mars direct was about moving forward with those truths, and acting from a place of conscious intent (rather than reacting automatically). This Jupiter Rx may refer back to what Mars direct triggered – reevaluated growth will be based on actions/anger/sexuality from the past.

Jupiter will station direct on July 10th, 2018.
