Overview

Painful Words

Mercury enters sensitive Cancer (ruled by the Moon) on June 12th, blending intellect and information with feelings and needs. The touchiness of this transit is enhanced by Mercury’s square to Chiron in Aries until June 13th – words will be painful and it will be difficult to say the right thing. Everything will be taken personally.

Mercury goes on to oppose Saturn Rx on June 15th, clearly defining the limits and responsibilities around the words. This is about what you can’t say or what you have to say, and it probably won’t be comforting. But this opposition is also about communicating like an adult, and it can mark a formal verbal or written result.

Gemini New Moon

Also on June 13th we have a Gemini New Moon (ruled by Mercury) so you can bet that any new choices, information or conversations will hi-light what’s painful or awkward. The best approach is to remember that Chiron’s wounds need to be confronted (in a way that doesn’t do more damage, of course). The painful discussion is your cue to look more closely at what’s hurting and why. This Moon will also be challenged by a confusing square to Neptune and awkward inconjuncts to Pluto Rx and Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn (for added undercurrents of power, resentment and anxiety). A complicated Moon, to be sure.

Venus in Leo

And there’s more happening on June 13th, as Venus enters proud, powerful Leo and squares Uranus in Taurus to June 14th. Venus in Leo is about boldly acknowledging what you want and what you’re worth – there’s nothing modest about this placement. Uranus will electrify things with the unexpected, as money/relationships/self-esteem are rocked by revelations or new attractions.

Venus trines Chiron up to June 15th, so here’s the release for any painful issues that came up around the New Moon. Creative risk or putting yourself out there may be essential for addressing Chiron’s wounds. Perhaps being open about what hurts will appeal to your audience or add to your attraction. When Venus harmonizes with Chiron, she enables empathy and a strange kind of magnetism. There’s beauty in what hurts and Leo adds pride – there’s no shame in being wounded or uncertain.

Aries

The New Moon in your communication sector, and Mercury square Chiron in your sign, suggest new discussions/information about family (especially siblings) or other domestic issues can be painful. Sensitive information from the past will be especially uncomfortable because it’s so personal, and your judgement may be clouded by secrets or unacknowledged issues. Nonetheless, this is a discussion/realization that has to happen. As Mercury in your domestic sector opposes Saturn, external rules or someone in authority may put the pressure on. Official documents or career results can be an issue.

Aspects to Venus in your sector of self-expression can trigger a surprising/electric attraction, impulse purchase or disruptive event involving children/pregnancy. It may be risky to get what you want- proceed carefully. The trine to Chiron in your sign suggests that, if handled correctly, these energies can enable a release of painful feelings and a renewal of confidence (if the wound is confronted). You may need to step out, claim the spotlight or take pride in who you are/what you want, even in the midst of painful personal dynamics.

Taurus

The New Moon in your sector of personal resources, and Mercury in your communication sector square Chiron, suggest a dissatisfying or anxiety-producing discussion/discovery about earned money or personal values. You may not get what you ask for, or the terms of the agreement can trigger hidden vulnerabilities. Straightforward communication will be difficult, but Mercury/Saturn will send an unavoidable reality check. Watch for enforced choices or official results involving travel, education, legal matters or publishing.

Aspects to Venus in your domestic sector (including the square to Uranus in your sign) can trigger surprising family dynamics, an unexpected move or sudden impatience with your existing home environment. Your desire for change may surprise everyone, especially if you never realized (until now) that you wanted something. Venus/Chiron suggests this is part of a secret wound – it’s time to be honest about a domestic relationship/desire.

Gemini

The New Moon in your sign, and Mercury in your personal resources sector square Chiron, suggest new info about money, personal values and group dynamics that triggers a sore spot. Your connection to the public (along with any insecurities and feelings of not belonging) will be combined with a personal request or decision about what you’re worth. Professional disillusionment and hidden power plays/suspicions will also play a role. Mercury/Saturn will pinpoint financial or emotional restrictions – you may not get what you ask for, or someone else’s boundaries may limit your options.

Aspects to Venus in your communication sector add in a surprising conversation, statement or discovery. You may hear something good (or flirtatious) that catches you off guard. Or, you may be the one who suddenly speaks out about what you want. This open communication will be key to addressing any social sensitivities. When in doubt, speak up and use your charm or creativity. You may be surprised at the appeal of your words as you openly admit to what hurts.

Cancer

The New Moon in your hidden sector, and Mercury in your sign square Chiron, suggest a secret issue can trigger some painful discussions or realizations about career, status or success. You may be openly addressing what no one wants to talk about, or what’s in the background. However, know that you may not have the full story and some of what you’re learning will be false or misleading. Mercury/Saturn can deliver an ultimatum or ending involving a partner or competitor – someone else’s rules will delver a sharply defined answer.

Aspects to Venus in your sector of personal resources can deliver an unexpected twist involving earned money or self-esteem. A surprising expense, change in income or jolt to your security can also be a wake-up call about what you really want. Use this clarity to address insecurities or lack of success in your career/future goals. You may need to change the way you earn money or treat yourself. What are you really worth?

Leo

The New Moon in your social sector, and Mercury in your hidden sector square Chiron, suggest a public choice, discussion or announcement that’s shadowed by sensitive secrets. What’s discussed publicly (with a friend or group) will involve painful issues that are not fully acknowledged, and background issues around lack of boundaries (in money or intimacy) will influence what you say or choose. Make sure you’re totally aware of what’s happening, rather than allowing yourself to operate on unconscious programming. Mercury/Saturn will pinpoint certain facts and realities (involving work, health or routine) that must be openly acknowledged. This may involve an obligation to someone else, or self-care.

Aspects to Venus in your sign can trigger a sudden attraction, surge of attention or impulse to approach career/professional issues in a new way. There can be innovation and/or disruption, as you what you want/love unfolds in an odd way. Professional attention can come at you when you least expect it. Venus/Chiron suggests these abrupt developments can ease you into new territory that allows you to embrace insecurities or fear of the unknown. This could be a case of you getting your mojo back as you celebrate what makes you special, and others may  even be attracted to your open acknowledgment of difficulties.

Virgo

The New Moon in your career sector, and Mercury in your social sector square Chiron, presents a new career path, approach to business, job offer or discussion with management. However, the details may be unclear or you may be distracted by a competitor/partnership (consider if you’re projecting issues onto the other person). Developments will involve sensitive public relationships and you may feel insecure about what you’re saying and how it will be received. Your professional image may take a hit, and Mercury/Saturn will clearly define what you must openly acknowledge. Too, Saturn can define the limits of an official contract or announcement.

Aspects to Venus in your hidden sector can stir up surprising innovations or an unexpected (and secret) desire or attraction. Tune into what’s intriguing, even if it makes no logical sense – there’s a clue about how you can move forward, and the trine to Chiron offers healing and release on a deep level. Perhaps finally acknowledging something (involving money or intimacy) will allow you to integrate uncomfortable issues.

Libra

The New Moon in your opportunities sector, and Mercury in your career sector square Chiron, suggests new info/choices involving education, legal matters, travel or publishing. What’s in front of you may appear to be limitless and/or confusing, and you may also be dealing with vulnerabilities and difficult conversations in a professional context. New details may not be welcome, and a competitor/partner could trigger some painful insights. Mercury/Saturn will define exactly what you must say regarding a conversation with management or an official statement. Too, there could be a formal document that delineates an ending/result.

Aspects to Venus in your social sector can stir up unexpected meetings, attractions or interactions with the public. You may be drawn to someone unusual, or an odd/intriguing group. Too, you may be compelled to display your true colours or show a side of yourself that’s uncharacteristic. The surprise can clarify things while providing you with a release regarding relationship difficulties. The courage to stand out from the group or express yourself honestly can help you address partnership (or competitor) insecurities, while increasing your public appeal.

Scorpio

The New Moon in your sector of shared resources, and Mercury in your opportunities sector square Chiron, can stir up uncomfortable details regarding debts, taxes, your partner’s finances or intimacy. New information or conversations can reveal too much, or make you aware of certain vulnerabilities involving travel, education, legal matters or publishing. At the same time, some of what you hear or intuit may be misleading – consider the difference between what you hope to hear versus what’s actually being revealed. Mercury/Saturn can clarify legal or official limits, or indicate a formal ending/result/graduation.

Aspects to Venus in your career sector can jolt you with an unexpected relationship, challenge to your professional image or change to your career path/connection to management. Partnership developments can throw you off track or wake you up to future possibilities. Venus/Chiron suggests that putting yourself out there, polishing your professional image or cultivating a key relationship can help your work image or assuage doubts about performance, if you stick with pride and confidence over superficial grabs for attention. Maintain your dignity even in the face of unpredictable events. Others may be looking to you to set an example.

Sagittarius

The New Moon in your partnership sector, and Mercury in your sector of shared resources square Chiron, suggests some sensitive relationship conversations or choices. A new development will involve painful explorations of debts, taxes, your partner’s finances or intimacy, and the lack of balance between the two of you may be an issue. Be aware that family history or ongoing issues at home can confuse the matter – make sure you stick to the subject and don’t allow other issues to bleed in and distract you. Mercury/Saturn can help by hi-lighting essential financial or emotional facts that must be addressed. What you don’t have enough of, or where you need to cut back, will be themes. Too, there could be financial documents to be considered.

Aspects to Venus in your sector of opportunities can reveal something unexpected, jarring and/or tempting. Long-distance romance, travel, education, legal matters or publishing can offer up exciting developments, but the risk factor is high. However, taking a calculated risk may be in your best interests, because this will help you deal with lack of confidence or feelings of rejection. Nothing is guaranteed, but it might be time to put yourself out there.

Capricorn

The New Moon in your sector of routine, and Mercury in your partnership sector square Chiron, can raise some difficult issues around who gives more, or who feels unappreciated, in a relationship. There may be a significant imbalance that needs to be addressed, and the Moon’s inconjunct to Pluto/Black Moon Lilith in your sign can make it difficult for you to approach matters in a rational manner. Watch for attempts to manipulate, and pay attention to anger/resentment that’s building beneath the surface. You may find it challenging to focus on the main issue, but it’s essential that you communicate clearly and honestly, and listen fully (without judgement, without anger). If you’re feeling disempowered or unaccepted, own this and speak up.

Aspects to Venus in your sector of shared resources suggest a deep and surprising attraction, obsession or urge to get closer. Money and intimacy matters may feel out of control and wildly impulsive – you can break through a barrier or risk too much. Therefore, it’s essential that you remain conscious of what you’re giving or expecting. Venus/Chiron suggests developments can help you access a deeper level of healing, especially if you’re ready to confront secrets or taboo family issues. Now’s the time for courageous honesty about the past and the buried present.

Aquarius

The New Moon in your sector of self-expression, and Mercury in your sector of routine square Chiron, can open up new possibilities involving a creative project, children, a new attraction or a celebration. The urge to risk it all or believe the fantasy will be strong – creativity is enhanced but reality is not. You’ll also be aware of awkward health or work issues that present a flaw; there’s an area of weakness, imperfection or difficulty that can’t quite be fixed. Mercury/Saturn will pinpoint the exact obligation or diagnosis, along with what you must do or say to address it.

Aspects to Venus in your partnership sector can trigger a surprising new attraction or unexpected left turn in an existing relationship. You may be caught off guard by the quality of this attraction (not your usual type) or by what your partner reveals they actually want. The overall theme is stepping outside your relationship comfort zone, and Venus/Chiron encourages you to openly discuss matters – events will open your eyes to a path of forgiveness, release or empathetic confrontation with ongoing doubts/insecurities. Venus/Chiron can also suggest a partner who introduces you the bitter-sweet blend of love, pain and healing.

Pisces

The New Moon in your domestic sector, and Mercury in your sector of self-expression square Chiron, can reveal some touchy issues involving home, family, children, a home business or your right to self-expression within the family. Money (or lack of it) can be an issue, and the Moon’s square to Neptune in your sign suggests mixed messages or lack of focus on the real issue. It will be easy to become distracted by everything besides what really matters. Mercury/Saturn can help, as you’re reminded of a key area where your words/ideas are restricted. As unpleasant as this may be, Mercury/Saturn defines what you’re responsible for – what you must say (in a public context) or what you must do to manifest your ideas (wishful thinking is not enough). In some cases, this can be a public ending or result.

Aspects to Venus in your sector of routine can stir up unexpected breaks involving health, work or obligations. There may be a surprising spot of assistance, or unexpected developments around a solution or diagnosis. Venus/Chiron suggests the disruption can ultimately lead to healing or improvement, as well as an improved approach to financial and emotional security. You may discover a workaround in an area where you thought you were lacking.

Overview

Sun Conjunct Mercury in Gemini

The June 5th superior conjunction between the Gemini Sun and Mercury makes an incompatible inconjunct to Jupiter Rx in Scorpio. In the Sun/Mercury cycle, this is a “Full Moon” aspect –  it’s a result connected to the last Sun/Mercury conjunction (on April 1st when Mercury was Rx in Aries). This conjunction in Gemini suggests an illumination of key details or choices, but the tense aspect to Jupiter suggests discord between these details versus the enthusiastic exposure of deep truths. There needs to be an adjustment between depth and flexibility, illumination and secrets.

As Sun/Mercury go on to square Neptune from June 6th to 7th, the challenge will be to find the missing info, identify valid choices (some of them will be false) and be aware of deceit. This could be someone else’s lies or your own airbrushing of the truth.

From June 8th to 11th, the Sun and Mercury will makes inconjuncts to Pluto Rx in Capricorn, adding in suspicions and hints of covert power plays. There will be awareness of something more behind the words, but the trick will be to balance this against paranoia. Unconscious impulses can distort information.

Venus Opposite Pluto

Also on June 5th, Venus in Cancer opposes Pluto Rx in Capricorn. The most sensitive cravings (for love, security, food or comfort) will be intensified and challenged. Pluto presses the finger on what you feel you must have while triggering anxieties that it will be taken away. This peak/result/ending can be compulsive and overwhelmingly intense, so it’s helpful to realize that oppositions always involve projection. Consider if the object of your desire actually reflects what you have within you.

Mars Conjunct the South Node

On June 8th, Mars in Aquarius makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node. The repeat hits will be due to Mars’ Rxand indicate sustained effort (or the need to redo and accept delays) as you attempt to liberate yourself from the past or take something to a place of creative pride, power and joy. Mars in Aquarius agitates for freedom, independence and the future – this is about moving forward, even if you initially feel stuck. Don’t give up if it doesn’t work out the first time – this influence will extend to September 27th.

Aries

Aspects to Sun/Mercury in your communication sector can present an answer, decision or final piece of information connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your sign). However, clarity may be an issue as secrets/unconscious factors blur the facts. You may struggle with anxiety over power plays (from someone in authority) and a disconnect between private issues involving money/intimacy versus public details. You’ll have to choose what’s discussed openly versus what’s better left unspoken. At the same time, it will be crucial that you keep an eye out for missing details – keep your story straight and be aware that others might try to manipulate.

Venus in your domestic sector opposes Pluto Rx, suggesting that career issues will lead to an intense conclusion at home/with family. Professional goals versus what you want at home may be a theme, and there can be an intensified craving for success/status that will impact your home life. Watch for parent/child dynamics, even if your actual parents are not involved (in this case, a manger may fill the parent role). Too, there can be a major domestic transformation (relocation, home renovation, home business) based on external power.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your social sector. A key group dynamic, connection to the public or friendship may be triggered by conflict, passion or the active pursuit of an ideal. Consider where you’re directing your energy and what you hope to achieve. One shot will not be the end of story, so be prepared for a drawn out, public battle or project (that features delays).

Taurus

Aspects to Sun/Mercury in your sector of personal resources can deliver a choice, document or discussion connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your hidden sector). What began behind the scenes has now manifested as information/conversations around earned money, self-esteem or values. You may waver about what you really want, or find it difficult to clarify the terms of the agreement. Big-picture issues (involving travel, law, education or publishing) can trigger insecurity or paranoia, while partnership expectations can make it difficult to focus on what really matters. It will be easy to forget what your primary needs are but it’s essential that you narrow down your demands and focus on what matters most.

Venus in your communication sector opposes Pluto Rx, indicating a powerful answer, announcement or decision. There may be some good news with a shadow side, or what you want to hear/say may be challenged by something greater than you. You may be compelled to demand something, or hunt compulsively for a desired outcome. Know that the power of words/ideas will be amplified by what you think you must have. Use caution when delivering your message, because the impact will be greater than you realize. If you’re receiving a message, consider what’s behind the words or what’s being projected.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your career sector, activating an issue with authority/goals from the past. Your actions, ambitions or response to a challenge can conclude a job search, project or position in your current work place. But the result will extend over the next few months – you may have to keep trying or keep hammering at the glass ceiling. Too, if you stubbornly refuse to alter your future course, these energies could be an extended push that accelerates your exit.

Gemini

Aspects to Sun/Mercury in your sign suggest a realization, choice or announcement connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your social sector). You may be responding to a key person/public issue or speaking out about what’s most important. But misguided or confused professional goals can muddy the waters, while suspicions/fears and overenthusiastic promises about work/health can compromise your message. Choose your words carefully and don’t assume that others are hearing exactly what you’re saying.

Venus in your sector of personal resources opposes Pluto Rx, hi-lighting an intense want involving earned money or security. You may feel compromised (especially by a partner) or vulnerable, and issues of financial or emotional control may come up. The key is examining what you feel you must have – can you provide it for yourself, or does someone else hold the power?

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your sector of opportunities, activating issues around travel, education, legal matters or publishing. This could be the start of your crusade, long journey or passionate fight to draw attention to something that reflects your ideals. Too, you could be wrapping up a journey or course of education.

Cancer

Aspects to Sun/Mercury in your hidden sector can open up a background choice, secret or intuitive piece of info connected to April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your career sector). You may be dealing with undefined or work-in-progress issues related to career, or maybe you have to take a step back and rethink your goals. While you have a core idea, you may be confused about which direction to take it – there could be an abundance of choices. Too, power plays/competition and overenthusiastic hopes can throw you off track. Your task is to keep it as real as you can while not extinguishing the dream and creative momentum. There’s much you don’t know yet – this is a process with unexpected paths.

Venus in your sign opposes Pluto Rx, emphasizing parent/child dynamics in a relationship. You may feel helpless, needy or at the mercy of another who seems to hold all the cards, but consider if you’re projecting what you crave onto them. The person who seems to b essential actually reflects what you need to develop within yourself. In some cases, a relationship may turn a major corner, leading to a permanent transformation.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your sector of shared resources. Debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or intimacy may be areas where energy has come to a peak and a sensitive matter needs to be addressed. This may make you feel vulnerable, but it’s part of the process of detaching yourself from undermining habits and dependencies  – you’re moving to a place of power and pride in your own self-sufficiency.

Leo

Aspects to Sun/Mercury in your social sector bring results connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your opportunities sector). A social event, public announcement or discussion with friends may be featured, but the message will be undermined by hidden fears or illusions. Efforts to control or improve can add an edge to what’s being discussed, and family/domestic issues can be distracting. Remember that your words/ideas will be public, even if some of the issues that are driving them are not. Be wary of unconscious slips, unclear boundaries and mismanaged expectations.

Venus in your hidden sector opposes Pluto Rx, activating hidden desires and cravings. What you haven’t admitted to will reach a point of no return – you may have to let go or fully acknowledge a health, work or routine issue. Secret attractions can be intense and all-consuming, and this aspect suggests a turning point.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your relationship sector, opposing the North Node in your sign. So begins the process of sorting out a partnership issue, or your approach to partnerships in general. Competition, challenges or assertiveness from someone else (or a past relationship) will push you to actualize an area in your life that is ripe for development. This may require a goodbye (to a person or partnership habit) or a wrap-up of a past relationship. Even if someone else seems to be calling the shots, you choose if you want to move forward or not.

Virgo

Aspects to Sun/Mercury in your career sector deliver results connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your sector of shared resources). What was hidden or private will now be spoken about publicly, or applied to future goals/professional image. Watch for a conversation with management, a career announcement or business choice. However, a particular relationship (personal or business) can confuse the issue and erode the clarity/professionalism of your words. At the same time, you’ll be dealing with tension between specific details versus an enthusiastic dive into a compelling issue, plus a forceful desire to get attention/appreciation. The push for more/better can compromise professional standards – speak with caution, and double check all promises (including you own).

Venus in your social sector opposes Pluto Rx, amplifying issues around a friendship, group affiliation or your connection to the public. A launch, ending or attraction can pack more power than you anticipated, and you’ll certainly grab public attention. Therefore, you want to make sure that the attention you’re receiving is aligned with what you actually want- others can project deeper motivations onto you. Unrequited attraction , jealousy or unpleasant responses are possible risks. While you can’t control others, you can make sure your intent and responses are honest and balanced.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your sector of routine. Health, daily work and service to others are areas where you may experience challenges, extra work or pressure to upgrade. There’s a specific task that’s just beginning, and it  involves breaking away from old habits/routines that have been holding you back. An extended conflict with a co-worker is another possibility.

Libra

Aspects to Sun/Mercury in your sector of opportunities deliver results connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your partnership sector). A relationship conversation/decision can now go further, or you can experience added freedom as you see what lies beyond your immediate horizons. Travel, education, legal matters or publishing are areas where you can learn more. However, what you discover may overwhelm you with endless possibilities, and not all of them will be valid. A key weakness can undermine future plans. There can be confusion about details, or unrealistic hopes/ideals. Financial and domestic issues can add further tension as you attempt to juggle new info with developments. The key is rising above your past/ security fears, while keeping your eye on the truth and reminding yourself that new discoveries must be balanced with your existing foundation. Be aware that “the truth” can be a flexible concept – don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Venus in your career sector opposes Pluto Rx, delivering a conclusion around career, a professional relationship or your professional image. Changes/endings at home will drive these results, and personal matters can leak into business. A desired objective may be reached, but consider how issues from the past are driving it. Watch for parent/child dynamics to pop up and cross professional boundaries.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your sector of self-expression. The process of creative or romantic pursuit begins, as you’re motivated to go after what you want. A passionate new attraction with a fated feeling (or an attraction from the past) could flare up. Too, you could be pushing to gain an audience for your work. While results will not be immediate, your goal is to gain a wider perspective on what you really want. Ultimately, this is not just about you.

Scorpio

Aspects to the Sun/Mercury in your sector of shared resources deliver results connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your sector of routine). You may receive deeper insight or private information about a health or work issue, and now the focus will be on shared finances, intimacy or psychological processes. This could be about counselling, financial choices or uncomfortable discussions/secrets. Details will be blurred by unrealistic desires or escapism, and the inconjunct to Jupiter Rx in your sign suggests you may lose track of the essential facts if you get caught up in something intensive. Looking for more/digging beneath the surface can distort your perspective, especially if paranoia is involved. Make an effort to step back and take a detached view of what’s happening – look at the facts.

Venus in your sector of opportunities opposes Pluto Rx, delivering intensive results in the areas of travel, long distance romance, education, legal matters or publishing. A distant goal can feel like life or death, with all the power of obsessive thoughts and tunnel vision behind it. Too, there could be a powerful announcement/discussion that reveals a difficult truth behind what you want.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your domestic sector. Here is the start of an extended process that revisits the past, your childhood or ongoing family issues. Actions/conflict are meant to stir up what you need to wrap up or step away from. Too, this could be about completing home renovations or relocating.

Sagittarius

Aspects to the Sun/Mercury in your partnership sector deliver results connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your sector of self-expression). Progress from attraction to relationship may be a theme. Too, you and your partner may engage in some back and forth about next steps or mutual plans. However, these discussions will be undermined by family patterns, addiction, illness or one partner’s dependency. Secret hopes and financial issues can also make straightforward discussion difficult. It may be challenging to get a straight answer  and your unacknowledged fears and expectations will colour things.

Venus in your sector of shared resources opposes Pluto Rx, intensifying financial or intimacy issues. Something that you want from another may feel overwhelming and out of your control, so consider the dynamics of what you receive versus what you give. There may need to be a rebalancing, especially if one person has all the power.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your communication sector. It may feel critical now that you make your voice heard – a key issue is pushing to be vocalized or written about because you want to take it further/reach a wider audience. You’ve got drive and passion, but know that this will be a drawn out process, with delays and rethinks. Nonetheless, it’s important for you to say your piece.

Capricorn

Aspects to the Sun/Mercury in your sector of routine deliver results connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your domestic sector). A solution or improvement involving health, daily routine or work tasks may involve past family issues. There could be more to do and more information to juggle. But the details will be unclear, and it will be easy to overlook flaws and missing info. Misdiagnosis is also a risk.  The inconjunct to Pluto Rx in your sign can trigger efforts to micromanage, and you may also be dealing with the expectations of others. Remember to prioritize and focus on the immediate essentials, while accepting that you will not be able to control every last detail. Ask questions to gain clarity, and double-check all details.

Venus in your partnership sector opposes Pluto Rx in your sign, amplifying your desire to control a relationship outcome. Know that you cannot control another person, and it’s possible that you’re projecting a desire onto them. In general, this energy can deliver a major partnership turning point, with parent/child undertones. Consider who calls the shots and if the balance of power is healthy.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your sector of personal resources. Efforts to earn, pursue a new source of income or establish your security will involve an extended process where you balance self-sufficiency with trust in another. You may be looking at pooling your resources, or stepping away from a “me first” approach. Too, you could feel like you have to defend yourself/your resources and the challenge will be to recognize if this is legitimate or part of old, invalid programming.

Aquarius

Aspects to Sun/Mercury in your sector of self expression deliver results connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your communication sector). Here is the bold statement or piece of writing- you’re putting it out there to grab attention in a flirtatious or creative way. There could be an answer about something you’ve been desiring, or even multiple, tempting choices. However, what you see, say or hear may be insubstantial or risky. It will be tempting to to go too far and say too much (some of this will be driven by unconscious motivations). Check the facts carefully before you decide, and make sure you can back up everything you’re offering.

Venus in your sector of routine opposes Pluto Rx, indicating a result around health, work routine or service to others. What you give or try to improve will be connected to more profound transformations that are happening in the background. This could be the permanent end of a habit, approach to service or work. Self-worth, self-esteem and self-improvement will be issues. Consider what’s really driving your efforts to make things better, or make someone else happy.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your sign, emphasizing a key action, initiative or expression of anger. You may be attempting to get the ball rolling on a project, relationship or lifestyle issue, and ultimately your goal will be a balanced exchange with someone else (this is not just about you). This is true, even if this features an ending. Things will not happen quickly, so be prepared for a drawn out conclusion or sustained effort.

Pisces

Sun/Mercury in your domestic sector delivers results connected to the April 1st Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (in your personal resources sector). An answer/choice (about relocation or a home business) or a family discussion will be featured, but the square to Neptune in your sign makes it unfocused and may deliver more questions than answers. Also, watch for unregulated expectations/ideals and an undercurrent of suspicion or hostility from the public. Lots of external factors will make personal choices tricky – remind yourself what the key issue is and consider if you’re sending or receiving mixed messages.

Venus in your sector of self-expression opposes Pluto Rx, hi-lighting an intense attraction or desire. You may want something/someone beyond all reason, and here is the peak (or ending). This can be wonderful or upsetting, depending on how the “other” (including the public) reacts, and if there are any projections happening. You may become the target for someone else’s desires or judgments. You may project obsession onto someone. Too, if this marks the launch of a creative/artistic effort, you can be sure it will have a profound impact.

Mars makes the first of three conjunctions to the South Node in your hidden sector. This is the start of an extended effort to bring something out into the open, or move from escape/denial into the real world. There may be a struggle to attain clarity, ground yourself or pull away from addictions/secrets of the past. Keep working/pushing and remind yourself that it’s all about improving your daily life.

New Moon in Gemini: Sorting Through The Truths

  Jacek Malczewski

Jacek Malczewski

The June 13th New Moon at 22 deg Gemini (3:43 PM EDT) is all about choices and the exchange of information. New information, meetings and conversations will grab your attention, but the Moon’s wide square to Neptune in Pisces suggests none of this will be clear. There will be a lot to sift through (Neptune dissolves boundaries) but will any of it be valid? New Moon energy is uncertain to begin with – the Moon is still dark, so what’s beginning may be vague or unformed. Add Neptune’s influence, and your best advice is to keep an open mind, but do not bet on what you (think) you understand.

This New Moon makes awkward inconjuncts to Pluto Rx and Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn. The inconjunct demands adjustment between incompatible energies. So this new info will be challenged by taboo truths (Pluto always excavates the uncomfortable truth that lies beneath the surface) about the “dangerous” woman (Lilith) – something you may not want to know about women’s sexuality/power that lies outside the bounds of polite society. The tension can result in misinformation, attempts to gloss over the issue or outright lies (courtesy of Neptune).

Mercury (ruler of this New Moon) will have entered sensitive Cancer on June 12th and will form an exact square with Chiron (Wounded Healer) in Aries on June 13th. So we have hurtful/uncomfortable information that must be courageously (Aries) confronted. And yet, the square to Neptune can make it doubtful. What should you say? What’s true? Hard aspects to Pluto often trigger paranoia, so maybe it’s all in your head. But there will be a red flag that you cannot ignore.

Nothing will be certain, but that’s just the way it is sometimes. Pay attention to what you hear or read, especially the dark stuff. But consider that you may not know the whole truth, just yet. Allow (Neptune) details (Gemini) to emerge, and (this is tricky) aim for a balance between courageous eyes-open and measured cynicism. When in doubt, go with the Gemini flow – ask tons of questions.

There’s something dark and doubtful that you’ll have to sort through, and you’re smart enough to do this.

Overview

May 27th to 29th deals out a Yod to Saturn Rx in Capricorn. As described in my Full Moon post:

“Saturn is part of a Yod to the Sun and the North Node…The Sun and North Node sextile each other, and both make awkward inconjuncts to Saturn, which becomes the focal point but also the challenge. So there’s opportunity to create (Leo North Node) fuelled by fresh ideas (Gemini Sun) but that energy may be blocked by a hard limit or rule. Your choices may be limited. In the end, you want to use the point of the Yod (that’s your task) which means focusing the creative, flexible energy. Get serious about it and take responsibility for what you’re choosing. Take responsibility for the future you want to create. “

Yods can be very challenging, because the focal point is essential yet difficult to master. In the case of Saturn, the block or fear is your goal – you must work with the barrier.

This Yod feeds directly into the May 29th Sagittarius Full Moon. Although you’re still dealing with frustrating Saturn, the Sun trines the South Node and the Moon trines the North Node, so this Moon’s results will integrate past and future. The two should flow together with Sagittarius themes of expansion, faith and exploration as the bridge.

Note that Mercury enters Gemini on May 29th, trining Mars in Aquarius on June 1st. Quick choices and fresh voices are energized, as liberated actions (Mars) chime with new ideas. This will be part of the Full Moon’s results. But Mercury’s inconjunct to Saturn Rx on June 2nd reminds you of the Yod’s task – focus, focus, focus.

May 31st to June 2nd sees a gorgeous Grand Water Trine. Building on the Jupiter/Neptune trine from May 25th, Venus in Cancer joins the party, lighting up all three water signs. What you want/love (Venus) is intensified (Jupiter) and idealized (Neptune).

The energy of a Grand Trine flows easily, which means the path of least resistance can be wonderful or debilitating. Addictions and delusions can grow. So can love, deep healing and rewarding creativity. If you feel yourself pulled in a certain direction (it will feel natural and compelling) ask yourself what’s being enabled.

As of May 15th, Uranus (liberation, surprise) has entered Taurus (security, stability). For the next 7 years this transit will combine contradictory energies of the future and freedom with security-bound habits and resources (money included). Wondering how this might hit you? Check out my eBook

Aries

The Yod to Saturn in your career sector puts the focus on status and authority. A professional responsibility can feel onerous, as you attempt to juggle this with creative expressions and ideas. Find a way to focus that creativity/innovation through your career  – take responsibility for what you want to express.

The Full Moon in your sector of opportunities will deliver a result for the above, involving travel, education, legal matters or publishing. Trines to the North and South Nodes can make a social issue personal, or help you gain public recognition for a project  or idea. Mercury’s move into your communication, and the trine to Mars, accelerates the exchange of information with others. Great for keeping the conversation going. However, Mercury/Saturn suggest you’ll still have to deal with professional limits/rules which may narrow your choices and enforce certain standards regarding what you communicate.

The Grand Water Trine lights up your sector of shared resources (Jupiter Rx), your hidden sector (Neptune) and domestic sector (Venus). This influence may be private, but you should feel it as a smooth flow of contentment (financial and/or emotional). Domestic issues can unfold with empathy, love and enjoyment. This is healing energy that can be used to nurture yourself if you want to be alone, but it can also increase intimacy in a domestic partnership. Less healthy expressions of this trine would look like enabling past/family behaviour that’s based on secrets.

Taurus

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your opportunities sector suggests a rule/barrier involving travel, education, legal matters or publishing is difficult to deal with. Financial and domestic issues can be impacted as you experience limits on your security. Know that this limit is meant to focus your attention so you can integrate personal/domestic matters with big-picture goals.

The Full Moon in your sector of shared resource carries this further, with a conclusion involving debts, taxes, your partner’s finances or intimacy. What you share or do not have complete control over will be the issue, and the trines to the Nodes can help you develop this on a personal/domestic level. Consider how far you want to take this issue, and what another is going to contribute. Mercury’s move into your sector of personal resources keeps the conversation flowing when it comes to earned money, personal values or sources of income, and the trine to Mars combines career developments with the money you want to make. Good for discussing what you feel you’re worth, or taking action to make more money. Mercury/Saturn ensures that long-range rules/limits will keep the discussion focused on the essentials.

The Grand Water Trine hits your partnership (Jupiter Rx) social (Neptune) and communication (Venus) sectors. A partnership can flow nicely, thanks to loving words and emotional connections with friends. All relationships (one-on-one and social) can develop beautifully as you reach out and connect with others using compassion and nurturing.  As an enabling influence, this trine can also encourage passive social behaviour or unrealistic expectations about what you’ll receive from others.

Gemini

The Yod to Saturn Rx in sector of shared resources (including the inconjunct to the Sun in your sign) narrows your choices and focuses on you on an essential issue regarding debts, taxes, your partner’s finances or intimacy. A fear, barrier or boundary needs to be acknowledged, and while you will find this frustrating (especially if you’re trying to bring an idea or plan into being) there’s a responsibility to be dealt with. It may be uncomfortable but it’s not going away.

The Full Moon in your partnership sector adds in relationship issues, as the balance between you and another rests on those unpleasant/private limits. However, the trine to the Nodes insists that you can still make your voice heard, or nurture that plan/idea, if you take someone else’s needs into consideration. A relationship ending, turning point or major discussion may be featured, along with the truth about what’s not being fully acknowledged. Mercury’s move into your sign gives you more info and and the ability to speak out, while the trine to Mars adds courage and vision (plus the initiative to actually do something with your ideas). However, Mercury/Saturn reminds you that the background focus of the Yod is still in effect – don’t forget your responsibility for what you owe or share. This applies to money and/or an intimate relationship.

The Grand Water Trine activates your sector of routine (Jupiter Rx) your career sector (Neptune) and your sector of personal resources (Venus). There’s money-making potential here, as your adjusted approach to the growth of work tasks/obligations/improvements supports your future goals and expands your income. This could be about earning more for doing something you love. Possible negative implications include overspending, laziness or not feeing motivated to improve upon an existing situation.

Cancer

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your partnership sector puts a mutual goal, rule or restriction in your sights. Relationship responsibilities or tensions can be exacerbated by what you’re not openly admitting, and will feel incompatible with financial and emotional security that you’re trying to nurture. The tension is the task –  adjust secret and not-so-secret goals to the reality of your partnership.

The Full Moon in your sector of routine continues the above reality check as something hidden is brought out into the open. You’ll see real-world results involving work or health. The trines to the Nodes insist that these results can be part of your quest to enhance your security and independence. Much depends on how you align mundane routines with future desires. Mercury into your hidden sector, and the trine to Mars, can activate more secrets or background potentials, but Mercury/Saturn will remind you that the current partnership reality cannot be avoided. Don’t give up on you dreams, but balance them with reality. Too, you may experience continued pressure from a partner to discuss something you’d rather hold back.

The Grand Water Trine activates your sign (Venus) your sector of self-expression (Jupiter Rx) and your sector of opportunities (Neptune). This can be a treat, as your powers of attraction are increased, along with fortunate gains involving new romance, children or creativity. This can be a happy time with much to celebrate as well as a sense that anything is possible. Horizons can seem limitless, and this is a rare window for you to reach further in any matter that you want to expand. If you’re in a self-indulgent mood, these energies will enhance that – relax and enjoy, but watch that you don’t overdo it (especially if you’re celebrating or thinking of taking a risk). Note that this Grand Trine can encourage passivity, so if you want more of something, you’ll have to use the opportunities that present themselves.

Leo

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your sector of routine (including the inconjunct to Ceres in your sign) hi-lights a difficult responsibility involving work, health or service to others. What you must do is not compatible with what you’re trying to create on a personal and social level. And yet, the “must do” is where you can and should focus your creative energy. Social choices may be limited, but you can work within those limits.

The Full Moon in your sector of self-expression brings these issues to a head via a creative project, new romance or issue involving children/pregnancy. The trines to the Nodes (including the North Node in your sign) suggest that you can move ahead with this in a way that increases your pride and draws appreciation from others. Mercury into your social sector (and its trine to Mars) can power up your social image, contacts and public words, while also energizing partnership communication. But Mercury/Saturn reminds you to choose your words carefully.

The Grand Water Trine activates your sector of shared resources (Neptune) your domestic sector (Jupiter Rx) and your hidden sector (Venus). A secret attraction/potential can unfold. Watch for personal healing via positive growth on a domestic level (or positive events involving a family issue). Too, this can be about you finding joy in private time. Negative possibilities include the enabling of hidden addictions, family secrets or an unhealthy attraction.

Virgo

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your sector of self-expression points to a limit or responsibility in the areas of creative work, new romance or children/pregnancy. Career and private potentials may appear to be blocked by this, but the truth is that there’s extra work for you. If you do that work (whether this means working harder to create/achieve or accept a certain reality) you can channel your energy into something that leads to success.

The Full Moon in your domestic sector connects to the Yod via a domestic or family conclusion. The trines to the Nodes indicate that you can still feed a secret fire or ultimate goal with these results – a routine or health issue can be transcended or taken to a place you didn’t believe was possible. Mercury’s move into your career sector, and the trine to Mars, boosts your ambition and work ethic – you’re ready to connect, speak out and get it done. Mercury/Saturn reminds you that ideas/communication must be professional and carefully targeted.

The Grand Water Trine lights up your partnership sector (Neptune) your social sector (Venus) and your communication sector (Jupiter Rx). Your expansive/optimistic ideas can go far as they impact the public with charm, empathy and magic. Fantastic for appealing to people on all levels – public and one-on-one. Socializing is favoured, as is broadening the scope of a relationship. Negative possibilities include unrealistic expectations about a romance that doesn’t exist, or enabling a partner’s dependency/addiction.

Libra

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your domestic sector emphasizes a heavy responsibility at home /with family. Whether the obligation has to do with family members or buying/selling/renovating your house, you may find that it’s restricting your ability to travel, socialize, broaden your horizons or nurture something public. The trick is focusing those external energies of growth and expansion through the limit in your home life – focus your drive in a personal area and you’ll become grounded, able to accomplish more.

The Full Moon in your communication sector adds to the above with a significant answer, decision or wrap-up conversation. The trines to the Nodes will enable your public/social growth – this could be a public launch or social event. Mercury’s move into your sector of opportunities, and the trine to Mars, powers up your ambitions to learn, question, explore or publish (and gain attention for your words) but Mercury/Saturn reminds you what your priorities are. Narrow your focus and you’ll accomplish more.

The Grand Water Trine activates your sector of routine (Neptune) your career sector (Venus) and your sector of personal resources (Jupiter Rx). Your professional image, professional creation or a significant work relationship can unfold nicely – the goal may be helping/healing others (or yourself) but you can still boost your finances and self-esteem with this opportunity. Less positive manifestations include relying on a professional gift but not taking it any further (lack of ambition) or blurring the boundaries between personal and professional.

Scorpio

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your communication sector emphasizes a verbal/written commitment, or what you cannot say. This may appear to be at odds with career and financial (or psychological) issues but the enforced focus is necessary and can actually clarify things. Take what’s behind the scenes/what you’re trying to bring about for your future, and focus it.

The Full Moon in your sector of personal resources adds a financial or self-esteem result to the above. The trines to the Nodes align this with future growth (especially career) and this could be a positive integration of work and money. Mercury into your sector of shared resources, and the trine to Mars, activates deeper (possibly uncomfortable) conversations and observations based on family actions or arguments. Mercury/Saturn reminds you that there is one issue/rule that must be considered. There could be a boundary/choice that must be enforced, or a discussion that must happen.

The Grand Water trine activates your sector of self-expression (Neptune) your opportunities sector (Venus) and Jupiter Rx in your sign. Long-distance romance, travel, legal matters, publishing, exploration or religion are areas where you can experience joy, satisfaction and growth. This is prime energy for a reward or the growth of a project/personal goal. But if you haven’t kept yourself grounded (and done the necessary work) you can get carried away by a false hope or ideal that encourages you to take unwise risks.

Sagittarius

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your sector of personal resources hi-lights a financial or emotional restriction. Partnership choices and an area of expansion/hope will be limited by this, but the restriction is actually an area of self-sufficiency or discipline where you need to focus your energies. This can stabilize or clarify areas where you may have too many options. Focus and prioritize.

The Full Moon in your sign carries this forward with a relationship conclusion or result. Where the two of you go from here is hinted at with the trines to the Nodes – future growth (relocation, travel or the expansion of ideals) is favoured. It’s possible that you’ll go on a journey together. Mercury into your partnership sector (and Mercury’s trine to Mars) can fire up relationship conversations in a good way – the exchange of ideas should be rapid and harmonious. But Mercury/Saturn will keep you and your partner focused on a primary financial or emotional concern – your partner may feel that they have limited choices, or that your rules are too strict. Stick to the plan, but consider if certain aspects of that plan can be adjusted.

The Grand Water Trine activates your sector of shared resources (Venus) your hidden sector (Jupiter Rx) and your domestic sector (Neptune). Debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or intimacy can unfold easily as the two of you forge deeper bonds based on the past and shared secrets. Money can flow, but there could also be a danger of sliding into debt or giving more than you should. While these energies encourage hope and healing (plus some pleasant surprises), you could also give too much or ignore your boundaries. Family patterns of addiction, illness and helplessness could also reemerge.

Capricorn

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your sign can increase the pressure regarding your responsibilities or authority. Work, health, shared finances or intimacy are areas where you may be feeling the pressure most acutely, especially if you feel that you’re responsible for everything. The truth is, this key responsibility is where you need to focus your energy – use your discipline and maturity to gain control of those areas where you feel disorganized or overwhelmed.

The Full Moon in your hidden sector suggests a result or illumination of a secret issue. External responsibilities will co-exist with hidden matters that come to light (these could involve a work or health issue). The trines to the Nodes indicate that these results can increase trust and intimacy in your life. What you’ve been trying to nurture with another can benefit from what’s revealed behind the scenes. Maybe you finally open up and let someone in. Mercury’s move into your sector of routine, and the trine to Mars, adds energy, solutions and the ambition to make things better/more profitable, although work load can also increase. Mercury/Saturn ensures that you don’t forget what your primary goal is – this will drive all work ideas and conversations. Recognize that what you can improve or correct will be limited by your current reality. Pick one option and stick with that.

The Grand Water Trine activates your social sector (Jupiter Rx) your communication sector (Neptune) and your partnership sector (Venus). A relationship can develop smoothly as love, empathy and romance grow. Social expansion and compassionate/romantic conversations will help, but the key will be shared feelings of love, or at least, a mutual desire for happiness. Less positive manifestations include  projecting your longings/ideals onto someone else or getting caught up in romantic promises with no substance.

Aquarius

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your hidden sector points to a background limit or fear. It may not be publicly visible, but it will be omnipresent, restricting your confidence, creativity and relationships. While you may be feeling less than positive about these developments, know that your focus needs to be on this area. In some way, it’s the key to channeling energy that you’re attempting to create with. Perhaps you need to accept these limits and work within them – maybe there’s a message here about what you need to let go of.

The Full Moon in your social sector adds a result involving your connection to the public, a friendship or group association. Trines to the South Node in your sign and the North Node in your partnership sector suggest this result can actually advance a partnership, or your understanding of how to integrate cooperation and compromise into your life. Mercury into your sector of self expression, and the trine to Mars in your sign, can boost your ability to convince others, promote yourself or speak your mind about what you want (while increasing your desire to say a couple of impulsive/risky things). But Mercury/Saturn reminds you that what’s simmering in the background cannot be ignored – choose your words carefully and consider the rules you need to live by.

The Grand Water Trine activates your sector of health/routine (Venus) career (Jupiter Rx) and personal resources (Neptune). Your desire work/serve/heal meets with some encouraging developments, as career, money and daily routines are in harmony. Adjustments to your career can support a developing health or work issue, or you can be rewarded for your contributions. Negative manifestations include falling into the same old work/health habits that provide you with something that feels good on the surface, thereby distracting you from deeper changes that have to happen. Addictions (including substances, lifestyle and work) can be enabled.

Pisces

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your social sector hi-lights a restriction or rule around a friendship, your relationship to the public or group. Issues in your personal life may feel blocked by this, but you’ll find if you focus your energy on this social limit you may be able to accomplish something. There may be a friendship that needs to end, or a public responsibility that must be acknowledged. Consider what’s happening with your  reputation.

The Full Moon in your career sector adds in a result/culmination involving a job, your professional reputation or future goals. Trines to the Nodes suggest this is part of your path towards making something real (or living in the real word). Your daily life can improve based on what happens with this Full Moon. Mercury into your domestic sector, and the trine to Mars, energizes private family discussions, hidden insights or conversations based on the past. Mercury/Saturn reminds you that the public rules/restrictions you’re dealing with must be part of the conversation and will narrow your options (there may be only one choice). Family versus public reputation may be an issue.

The Grand Water Trine activates your sector of self-expression (Venus) your opportunities sector (Jupiter Rx) and Neptune in your sign. A creative or romantic fantasy could come to life, and it may appear to have limitless potential. Too, you could hook into something that feels like a higher calling or the embodiment of your ideals. Maybe you’re ready for a couple of days of serious relaxation and celebration. Enjoy what’s on offer, but be aware of the less pleasant potentials – a risk of overdoing it, getting lost in an undermining fantasy or passively sliding along the path of least resistance while avoiding unpleasant responsibilities.
