Day of Disconnects

July 16th is an awkward day with two inconjuncts (aspects of incompatibility). Venus in Virgo makes an inconjunct to Mars Rx in Aquarius, signalling a disconnect between what’s wanted and actions that are taken to get it. Venus in Virgo is about precision, purity and making it better, while Mars Rx in Aquarius is returning to a past action or stepping away from an issue in order to detach. Meanwhile, Mercury in Leo makes an inconjunct to Pluto Rx in Capricorn. Words will be BIG and INTENSE, but also exaggerated due to the tension of the square. Keeping in mind that Mercury will station Rx on July 26th, and the final square will not occur until August 28th, it’s best to view this aspect as a work in progress. Information will change and perspective will have to be adjusted. Jupiter direct on July 10th brings the first shift, as expansion that’s been delayed or questioned now moves forward. 

Venus Into Virgo and the Grand Earth Trine

Venus enters Virgo on July 9th, joining Ceres. Relationships, self-esteem, values and finances are nurtured, but the vibe is very selective. Virgo chooses what’s closest to perfection and Ceres (the crop goddess) is about the harvest or reaping. Anything that doesn’t make the cut is discarded. This is part of a larger Grand Earth Trine consisting of Saturn Rx in Capricorn and Uranus/Juno in Taurus, until July 15th. The Grand Trine will act as an anchor for the emotionally intense New Moon eclipse in Cancer (opposing Pluto), on July 12th:
