September 29th, 2019: Sun Inconjunct Uranus

  • Sun in Libra inconjunct Uranus in Taurus (5°)

Uranus in Taurus demands radical changes to set habits and resources. But the inconjunct to the Sun says these changes will be difficult to integrate with a relationship or the overall equality of a situation.

There maybe sudden urges to express yourself in odd ways. Or, the harmony between you and another may be unexpectedly disrupted. Change (and freedom) is necessary but not at the expense of balance.

The challenge of this aspect is to find a way to work with what’s unworkable. Some disruptions (like changes to finances and security) can be out of your control as they push you to the extreme end of your tolerance. If this happens, step back and detach yourself from panicky reactions.

The point of balance has shifted -find the new centre.

September 28th, 2019: Saturn Conjunct The South Node

  • Saturn in Capricorn conjunct the South Node (13°)

The last of three conjunctions, this signals a major conclusion or result involving rules, traditions, authority, parents or responsibility. An issue from the past has crystallized-it cannot be undone. This could mean that a door has been shut, a commitment finalized or results delivered.

The first conjunctions took place on April 30th and July 4th. This has not been a sudden event: the ending/ result has slowly taken shape since April and, in the manner of all things Saturn, you haven’t been able to rush it. This has allowed you to view events as they have taken shape. As the final structure manifests, consider how you feel about that shape-in some way, it reflects the work/ focus/ discipline or lack thereof that you have applied. In some cases you may be walking away from a structure that you’ve outgrown.

Take a moment and look back at what you’ve manifested and concluded. Now, turn around and move forward.

New Moon in Libra

This September 28th New Moon at 5° Libra (2:26 PM EDT) opposes Chiron RX in Aries. Beginnings will involve a struggle for balance as uncomfortable issues are triggered. The Libra themes of relationships, one- on- one exchanges, projection and harmony will be emphasized. The struggle will arise from the activation of Chiron’s wound: Chiron in Aries is about finding the courage to fight or confront when you are at your weakest.

Libra would rather gloss over the uncomfortable stuff, but that will not be allowed this time. Because of the opposition, it could be your wound projected onto someone else or someone’s wound reflecting your issues. This Moon will also make an awkward inconjunct to Uranus RX in Taurus: there could be an unexpected but necessary change as this new situation ends up being a complete reversal of what you expected. Perhaps the weakness becomes a source of strength, or the pain acts as a new point of connection between you and another.

Also on this day, Saturn will make its third and final conjunction to the Capricorn South Node. This is the absolute ending: the official line or separation from the past. Saturn delivers results so despite the Uranian energy of this Moon, the overall vibe will be a conclusion that you saw coming a mile away. Saturn’s previous conjunctions to the South Node occurred on April 30th and July 4th.

During this Moon, you will be challenged to find a new way of balancing discomfort and vulnerability. As Saturn closes the door on the past, remember that the Moon rules the Cancer North Node (path forward)-empathy and the expression of authentic feelings. What you need is paramount (and it may be different from what you want).

September 27th, 2019: Venus Inconjunct Lilith/Neptune

Jan Steen

Jan Steen

  • Venus in Libra inconjunct Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (16°)

  • Venus in Libra inconjunct Neptune RX in Pisces (16°)

Venus makes challenging aspects to BML and Neptune. The socially acceptable expression of female energy or relationship impulses (Venus) will have to be adjusted with the magic (Neptune) of the dangerous woman (BML).

Lilith’s undefined energy can seep unexpectedly into situations: Lilith/ Neptune is the addictive or transcendent version of the other woman/ witch/ prostitute or female rebel. Without allowing this to undermine a relationship or your social balance, you must still consider what slides beneath the social dance.

Lilith/ Neptune is slippery and this conjunction will be exact on September 30th (so what starts today will stretch into the 30th). As this energy builds, consider how it challenges the conventional standards of relating. What is the unspoken side of the woman you know? There may be doubts about what’s unconventional (but liberating) and these will have to be integrated before they weaken your relationships.

Sometimes this energy can manifest as the sneaky or destructive side of flirtation.
