Sun conjunct Mars in Virgo (9 deg)
Venus in Virgo square Jupiter in Sagittarius (15 deg)
Sun/Mars energizes your ability to correct and refine. There is confidence in doing the thing you know is right and motivation to do the required work. This is an ambitious yet particular aspect – sloppiness or half-hearted attempts will not cut it.
Part of the ongoing T-Square, Venus/Jupiter boosts today’s energy even more. You may want (Venus) to push the limits of what you can do with Sun/Mars. A square from Jupiter exaggerates, so there will be a big desire to help/clean/make it perfect. You may express your love with an over-the-top example of how useful you are.
But the crisis of this square is between Sagittarius’ ideals and Virgo’s reality. Too much of a good thing is still too much. Consider if they really want your help (are you overwhelming them with your love) or if your rush to get it right means you overlook the specifics. Maybe your ambitions for self-improvement take you past the point of what’s reasonable.
Overall, you’ll want to do a lot today, and you can. Just keep an eye on those expectations.

This week presents a configuration called a T-Square. The stellium of planets in Virgo oppose Neptune in Pisces, and the Virgo/Pisces opposition squares Jupiter in Sagittarius (this is part of building Jupiter/Neptune square).
Optimism, expansion and idealism will exaggerate the blurring effect that Neptune has on details and facts. There could be an intensified desires to fix what’s not broken or ignore (escape from) problems you don’t want to deal with.
The energy can be shifty, anxious, euphoric or a combination of all three.
The T-Square will extend to September 14th as Mars in Virgo is activated. But for this week, Mercury, the Sun and Venus in Virgo will start things off.
Here are the specific dates. I have bolded the aspects involved in the T-Square:
Sept 2nd: Venus square Jupiter, Sun conjunct Mars
Sept 3rd: Sun conjunct Mercury, Mercury conjunct Mars, Venus trine the South Node
Sep 4th: Venus opposite Neptune
Sep 5th: Mercury trine Saturn
Sep 6th: Mercury square Jupiter, Sun trine Saturn, Venus trine Pluto, Mercury trine South Node
Sep 7th: Mercury opposite Neptune
Sep 8th: Sun square Jupiter, Mercury trine Pluto, Sun trine the South Node
You’ll notice some more grounding aspects in this list. The Sun/Mercury/Mars conjunction will illuminate the power of precise ideas put into action. Of course, you’ll be sailing into the T-Square so you’ll have to ensure that you maintain your focus on what’s real. If you start to lose your sense of direction, the trines to Saturn, Pluto and the South Node are there to keep you in check- stick with the proof and the rules. Use caution and tap into the power of what’s culminating (there will be an issue from the past coming to a head). Rely on that when you get distracted or confused by Jupiter/Neptune.
Find your anchor.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your sector of routine will illuminate a specific problem, correction or detail that’s ripe for improvement in a health or work context. You’ll be motivated to act on practical information and fix what’s broken.
However, the T- Square activates your sector of routine (Virgo planets) sector of opportunities (Jupiter) and your hidden sector (Neptune). The above issues can be exaggerated as symptoms flare up or a hopeful cure/surge of possibility about what you might accomplish encourages you to take on more than is sensible. Hidden matters will blur the facts – use caution before you jump to conclusions or say “Yes.”
Trines from your sector of routine to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you. Focus on transformations, endings and rules/authority involving career or future goals. Anchor yourself with what you know you must do/wrap up, the authority you have or your interactions with management. This could be an issue from the past or result involving your professional life.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your sector of self-expression can boost your confidence and desire to pursue a new attraction or put your talents on display. A key conversation or piece of exciting news will demand action.
However, the T- Square activates your sector of self-expression (Virgo planets) sector of shared resources (Jupiter) and your social sector (Neptune). It will be easy to overspend, place your faith in someone questionable or take a romantic/celebratory situation too far. Others can undermine your boundaries and will. Before you speak out, make sure your facts are not based on unproven hopes. Be very careful with debts, loans, taxes or your partner’s finances.
Trines from your sector of self-expression to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you. A situation involving travel, education, legal matters, publishing or an official manifestation of faith can deliver long-awaited results. Future goals are defined and something taking shape (or ending). Tap into this and keep yourself on the right track. This could also involve what you’ve learned in a official capacity.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your domestic sector hi-light a key conversation with family or information from the past that you’ll be motivated to act on. Relocation, a home business or a passionate/angry discussion with a domestic partner can prompt you to see what’s broken and ready for improvement. Too, this can apply to a home renovation project.
However, the T- Square activates your domestic sector (Virgo planets) your partnership sector (Jupiter) and your career sector (Neptune). Relationship ideals and unrealistic career goals will exaggerate the above issues while blurring the content of your discussion. Too, facts about moving or construction can be unclear. Before you take another step, slow down and carefully analyze the facts plus the reality of future goals. Don’t allow a partner to push you too far. When evaluating career issues, focus on facts rather than wishes.
Trines from your domestic sector to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you if you tap into boundaries, responsibilities and a necessary ending in the areas of shared finances, intimacy or psychological issues. It may be time to draw a line between you and another in order to bolster your security/self-esteem. Too, the deeper parts of a relationship (including commitment) may need to be redefined.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your communication sector urges you to take action on a decision or conversation. A specific idea or solution can be delivered with force and clarity. Also good for pushing to the meat of an issue and hammering your point home.
However, the T- Square activates your communication sector (Virgo planets) your sector of routine(Jupiter) and your opportunities sector (Neptune). Enthusiasm about the above (especially in the context of work or health) can see you promising or asking for too much. While your intentions may be honourable, your desire to help or do more can see you overestimating. Don’t take shortcuts or ignore vague details.
Trines from your communication sector to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you as you connect with a parter’s rules/support or go along with an official commitment, relationship ending or partnership focus. Results around your connection with another will be concrete – this is what you can count on.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your sector of personal resources encourage you to pursue a financial or emotional opportunity. This is about acting on what’s best, based on practical information.
However, the T- Square activates your sector of personal resources (Virgo planets) your sector of self-expression (Jupiter) and your sector of shared resources (Neptune). There may be a temptation to push too hard (for what you want) or spend too much. Background influences (or the influence of another) can encourage you to go further than you normally would – be careful if you’re loaning money or pooling your resources. Also, watch that your enthusiasm does not undermine your values and security.
Trines from your sector of personal resources to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you if you pay attention to practical rules and obligations in the areas of health or work. What must be attended to, or the results of previous work/habits, can keep you focused on what’s best for your security. Tap into the death of old routines and the emergence of a new regime.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your sign give you motivation and information – you’ve got the smarts and the will to act on what you know. Excellent for pushing towards what matters most or getting your point across with passion, clarity and logic. This could be about taking a stand on something you’ve discovered or finally taking action on a problem.
However, the T- Square activates your sign (Virgo planets) your domestic sector (Jupiter) and your relationship sector (Neptune). Issues involving family, a home business or domestic partnership will exaggerate your usual approach to problems and perfection. You may be pushed to take on more, offer more assistance or worry more about an issue. Before you jump in with your suggestions or “clean up” reactions, make sure that you’re seeing the full story. Also, consider that a partner or family member may not want your well-intentioned help.
Trines from your sign to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you as you focus on a creative, romantic or self-expression issue that’s coming to a head. What you want (or want to create) is ready to morph or end, depending on how valid the issue is to your current status. Get real about what talents/potentials you have.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your hidden sector illuminate a secret or gut instinct that you feel compelled to act on. Too, unacknowledged motivations can be clarified and quantified.
However, the T- Square activates your hidden sector (Virgo planets) your communication sector (Jupiter) and your sector of routine (Neptune). Illusions and overly optimistic ideals about what you want can lead you down the wrong path. Words may be passionate but will be distorted by unacknowledged delusion. Be careful about what you’re saying or learning (especially in the area of health, work or obligations) – some facts will not be accurate.
Trines from your hidden sector to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you if you tap into change and responsibilities at home/with family. Boundaries and deconstructions of the past are essential – pay attention to what’s shutting down or demanding your attention, especially regarding parents or memories.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your social sector activate a public argument, statement or passionate declaration based on facts. Too, this can be a moment of clarity regarding a friendship or group association.
However, the T- Square activates your social sector (Virgo planets) your sector of personal resources (Jupiter) and your sector of self-expression (Neptune). The drive to display something may be distorted by overenthusiastic ideals/desires. A public attraction can end up being “too much.” Use caution regarding what you put out there.
Trines from your social sector to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you as you tap into specific facts and verbal/written rules. An official issue may be ending or delivering a result – anchor yourself with this as it will shift your focus in the right direction.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your career sector expose a key conversation with management or detail about your future path. You may be motivated to move in a specific direction or make corrections regarding your future goals.
However, the T- Square activates your career sector (Virgo planets) your sign (Jupiter) and your domestic sector (Neptune). There may be some idealistic or enthusiastic thoughts that push you to say more/hope for more. Slow down and pay attention to the details – your hopes may clash with what’s realistically allowed.
Trines from your career sector to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you as you focus on rules and discipline regarding earned money and values. Tap into what you know you have to change and restrict, as well as endings/results around how you look after yourself.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your opportunities sector encourage you to reach out regarding education, travel, legal matters or publishing. This is the time to initiate based on what you believe or want to expand.
However, the T- Square activates your opportunities sector (Virgo planets) your hidden sector (Jupiter) and your communication sector (Neptune). Unacknowledged or secret issues can throw you off track. Be cautious about what’s suggested when there’s no solid proof. If you can’t prove it, back off.
Trines from your sector of opportunities to Saturn/South Node/Pluto in your sign say that you have the power to focus and conclude an important issue. It’s up to you to lay down the rules or say “enough” because you’re approaching the end of the line. You call the shots.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your sector of shared resources suggest new developments regarding debts, taxes, loans or your partner’s finances. A new discovery regarding shared finances or psychological issues can reveal what you want to avoid.
However, the T- Square activates your sector of shared resources sector (Virgo planets),your social sector (Jupiter) and your sector of personal resources (Neptune)so you’ll have to be cautious regarding the influence that others have on money and values. You may overspend or give away too much, thanks to external prompts.
Trines from your sector of shared resources to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you if you connect with gut feelings or hidden endings/instincts. A private ending or quiet but certain sense that something is coming to a head can point you in the right direction.
Sun/Mercury/Mars in your partnership sector illuminate a key announcement or conversation from another. A new or existing relationship can be energized by a partner’s actions/anger or drive to make improvements.
However, the T- Square activates your partnership sector (Virgo planets),your career sector (Jupiter) and Neptune in your sign. There’s a risk of projecting ideals, anxieties or delusions onto another. Your enthusiasm for the future is a good thing, but unrealistic hopes will be distorted by what you imagine anohter is offering or taking away. Too, their deception can undermine you.
Trines from your relationship sector to Saturn/South Node/Pluto can ground you if you connect with what you know about a partner (romantic or business). Results and limits in a social setting can focus the issue and confirm what another has to offer.

Mercury in Virgo Trine Uranus Rx in Taurus (6 deg)
Venus in Virgo opposite Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (13 deg)
Venus in Virgo trine Saturn Rx in Capricorn (14 deg)
Mercury/Uranus encourages you to think outside the box…slightly. Watch for new details/solutions or fresh angles on existing facts, but you don’t have to venture too far. You can put a new spin on logic and break through the barrier to something truly innovative yet practical. None of this is risky – this is about small changes that sound doable because they’re bite-sized.
Venus/Saturn confirms a relationship, financial or self-esteem issue. The facts about what you want can be made official. But Venus’ opposition to BML says that what’s official will clash with unstructured/undefined manifestations of female sexuality or liberation. The taboo magic of the dangerous woman will be at odds with what you’re trying to confirm.
So at this point, you need to decide what’s more important – tradition or the escape from tradition?

Mercury in Virgo inconjunct Chiron Rx in Aries (4 deg)
The inconjunct is about integrating discordant energies. We have Mercury in Virgo with the helpful suggestions and focus on what’s broken. And we have Chiron in Aries – the wounded warrior, the path forward that demands courage while you’re hurting.
Chiron’s wound must be acknowledged without trying to fix it. Mercury in Virgo needs to recognize what’s happening, even analyze it, but refrain from offering solutions. Because there are no solutions and trying to say the “right” thing will trigger more hurt.
Think about what happens when you offer unwanted advice or helpful observations.
The challenge here is to listen and observe without pointing out how it could be better. Emphasize but don’t judge. If you identify a painful area in your life, your challenge will be to not get caught up in searching for a fix – there is no fix, you just have to admit that it’s not perfect and you’ve done your best.

Mercury in Virgo conjunct Juno (3 deg)
The details of an agreement are spoken or written. Any type of partnership can be clarified as flaws or solutions are described. This is about the fine print – don’t ignore what’s written at the bottom of the page or what your partner is adding. It’s also an opportunity for you to get precise about what you’re agreeing to, because the little things matter.
This aspect suggests a partnership that’s based on communication, analysis and the drive for improvement. It’s not enough to simply be, there’s a desire to make each other better or figure things out together. Remembering that Virgo is about integration, consider if someone close to you has the missing piece of the puzzle.

Mercury enters Virgo on August 29th at 3:47 AM EDT. Mercury rules this sign and its power as a detailed, truthful communicator will be at full strength.
This is the transit for exact information: there’s no wiggle room about what’s correct. As an Earth sign, Virgo delivers practical, physical manifestations of Mercury’s info. Flaws are identified and sensible improvements are verbalized: there is no ambiguity. Because of this sign’s precise nature and perfectionist drive, improvements often come across as critiques, especially when they’re unsolicited. But the critiques are usually right.
Although this transit is brief, you can maximize its energy if you’re involved in any sort of detailed research or problem-solving. If you’re not sure if a situation is beneficial, try writing down the undisputed facts. Don’t worry about what you suspect or hope for – just concentrate on what you know. You’ll quickly see the truth.
The first aspect Mercury makes is a sextile to Pallas in Scorpio – psychological or secret strategies are supported by exact info. Great for research or taking a deep dive into uncomfortable subject matter. You’ve got logic on your side if things become too intense.
Sometimes, Mercury in Virgo’s information becomes labyrinthian as you get lost in the granular details and and forget about the overall picture. Details are crucial but remember that nothing works in isolation. Ultimately, Virgo is about integration – take what you’ve analyzed and see how it fits in with the rest.
Here are the aspects Mercury in Virgo will make:
Aug 29th: sextile Pallas in Scorpio (1 deg)
Aug 30th: conjunct Juno (3 deg)
Aug 31st: inconjunct Chiron Rx in Aries (4 deg)
Sep 1st: trine Uranus Rx in Taurus (6 deg)
Sep 1st: square Ceres in Sagittarius (6 deg)
Sep 3rd: conjunct Mars and the Sun (10 deg)
Sep 5th: opposite Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (13 deg)
Sep 5th: trine Saturn Rx in Capricorn (14 deg)
Sep 6th: square Jupiter in Sagittarius (15 deg)
Sep 6th: trine the Capricorn South Node (15 deg)
Sep 7th: opposite Neptune Rx in Pisces (17 deg)
Sep 8th: trine Pluto Rx in Capricorn (20 deg)
Sep 12th: trine Vesta in Taurus (27 deg)
Sep 13th: conjunct Venus (28 deg)
Sep 14th: Libra ingress

Virgo Sun trine Uranus Rx in Taurus (6 deg)
Continuing the vibe of the Mars/Uranus trine, Sun/Uranus illuminates the integration of precision and change. New slivers of insight emerge and you discover fresh angles to practical solutions. There’s a drive for independence, but it comes out in a careful way. This is gradual liberation from old habits, one detail at a time.
Consider if there’s a new purpose taking shape – it won’t be dramatic, but you may notice a shift in how you approach certain problems or how your daily routines support you. For those interested in personal upgrades, this aspect urges you to take pride (Sun) in the small changes – the little thingsl add up.

The August 30th Virgo New Moon (6 deg) conjoins Mars (actions), Venus (attraction) plus Mercury (communication) and Juno (partnership agreements). So we have a precise (Virgo) new beginning that involves actions uniting with attraction -getting what you want. But also, precise communication/solutions (Mercury) about a partnership.
And the whole thing trines Uranus Rx in Taurus, giving us an easily manageable shot of change. You can initiate an agreement that’s different from anything you’ve done before, but it’s not so crazy that you’ll be uncomfortable. One or two small things (Virgo) will be different.
I like this New Moon – it combines Mars and Venus which is always nice. You act and attract what you want (assuming you act according to the Virgo agenda – precise, careful, gradual, practical). Venus and Juno really encourage all partnership issues (romantic and business). And Mercury (ruler of Virgo) adds powerful words or facts – think it, say it and act on what you say. You don’t have to do anything crazy, just take one small step in a different direction.
The only fly in the ointment is this New Moon’s inconjunct to Chiron Rx in Aries -there will be some insecurities about what you can’t fix. It won’t be perfect, but that’s ok. Virgo wants it to be perfect, but when Chiron in Aries is involved you have to accept that there’s going to be some blood or uncomfortable moments of assertiveness.
But overall, I see this New Moon as a prime opportunity to act on the specifics of what you want in the context of an agreement or commitment. Don’t be afraid to dig into the details – if you want the colour to be a couple of shades lighter, just say it. This is the time to get picky and have all your wants on paper. The difference of a half degree/inch/shade/is crucial.: is it crazy to get that specific? When Uranus trines Virgo, the answer is “Nope.” Uranus gives you latitude of what would normally be considered eccentric or odd. Combined with a mega Virgo New Moon, you have the space to be as crazy precise and exacting and anxious as you want.
But it won’t always be like this. Take advantage of this vibe now
