This September 28th New Moon at 5° Libra (2:26 PM EDT) opposes Chiron RX in Aries. Beginnings will involve a struggle for balance as uncomfortable issues are triggered. The Libra themes of relationships, one- on- one exchanges, projection and harmony will be emphasized. The struggle will arise from the activation of Chiron’s wound: Chiron in Aries is about finding the courage to fight or confront when you are at your weakest.
Libra would rather gloss over the uncomfortable stuff, but that will not be allowed this time. Because of the opposition, it could be your wound projected onto someone else or someone’s wound reflecting your issues. This Moon will also make an awkward inconjunct to Uranus RX in Taurus: there could be an unexpected but necessary change as this new situation ends up being a complete reversal of what you expected. Perhaps the weakness becomes a source of strength, or the pain acts as a new point of connection between you and another.
Also on this day, Saturn will make its third and final conjunction to the Capricorn South Node. This is the absolute ending: the official line or separation from the past. Saturn delivers results so despite the Uranian energy of this Moon, the overall vibe will be a conclusion that you saw coming a mile away. Saturn’s previous conjunctions to the South Node occurred on April 30th and July 4th.
During this Moon, you will be challenged to find a new way of balancing discomfort and vulnerability. As Saturn closes the door on the past, remember that the Moon rules the Cancer North Node (path forward)-empathy and the expression of authentic feelings. What you need is paramount (and it may be different from what you want).
