October 10th, 2019: Support For The Pain

  • Libra Sun sextile Ceres in Sagittarius (17°)

  • Venus in Scorpio inconjunct Chiron RX in Aries (3°)

  • Pluto in Capricorn trine Juno in Virgo (20°)

Venus/Chiron means that the deeper you go regarding what you want or attract, the more vulnerable you’ll be. You may be tempted to keep what’s uncomfortable hidden while dealing with the obvious wound. Or, you may try to lose yourself in the obsession while ignoring the battle.

This aspect can amplify the “ugliness” of taboo issues around love, values or beauty. You may feel unattractive or ashamed because of the intensity. It’s a tough one, because you have to integrate the external wound with the Shadow. The uglier you feel, the more important it is that you come to terms with this. Healing occurs when you confront what’s in the Shadow and find a way to love yourself.

Fortunately, you have a nice Sun (in Venus-ruled Libra)/Ceres aspect that brings balanced, expansive nurturing. This energy encourages you to explore the possibilities and trust that justice, idealism and hope are accessible in relationships.

Also, Pluto (ruler of Scorpio) empowers Juno’s relationship commitments by adding depth to the details of the agreement. The little things between you and another and your mutual efforts to make the partnership better/cleaner/correct can be potently effective.

What does this mean overall? One sticky aspect and two supportive aspects mean that you can handle the uncomfortable stuff.

October 9th, 2019: Sun Inconjunct Neptune

  • Sun in Libra inconjunct Neptune RX in Pisces (16°)

This tricky aspect can see you misinterpreting a partnership issue or attempting to completely avoid compromise. Pride and purpose can be dissolved if you lose your sense of self to another.

Neptune whispers that there is something that transcends your one-on-one connections. There is more at stake than the partnership, or your social life. The key will be maintaining that balance between the reality of your relationships versus the understanding that it’s not all about your relationships. Neptune is transpersonal and encompasses everyone.

When you feel delusion or misunderstanding creeping into your relationships, take a step back and try to distance yourself. See where that point of balance is between you and another and then consider the bigger issue. Is more compassion needed? Have you been caring too much about making others happy?

In general, this aspect can make it difficult to maintain your centre in any one -on -one contact. There will be doubts about how to express your ego, and you may err on the side of sacrificing your pride for the sake of harmony.

October 8th, 2019: Mars Opposite Chiron

  • Mars in Libra opposite Chiron RX in Aries (3°)

Mars in Libra is about balanced actions, but when it opposes the Wounded Healer balance will be very difficult. It may seem like the more you try to compromise or do what’s socially acceptable, the more you rub someone the wrong way. Too, you may find yourself reacting to someone else’s wounds.

This can be especially difficult with passive aggressive expressions of anger. If the anger is not fully owned, it will be projected onto someone and they’ll get hurt.

Accept that there’s going to be painful moments today and pay attention to the sore spots that are revealed. Even if the revelation is indirect, this is an excellent time to be aware of a vulnerability that needs to be addressed. If you’re afraid to act because you don’t want to hurt someone or stand out/be uncomfortable, know that you probably won’t be able to avoid this. Move cautiously, but don’t just sit there. Remember that Mars rules Aries, and Chiron in Aries is about taking action, even if it hurts.

Venus Into Scorpio

Venus enters Scorpio on October 8th. Relationships, values and finances will go through a period of intense transformation/ renewal or endings. Scorpio intensifies all Venus matters so you may find yourself wanting something or someone specific. The purpose of the intensity is to take you to your limits so you can learn the truth about what you really love and value, and what no longer has any life In it.

This is a transit of inner learning. Beyond the smouldering attractions that are usually described, understand that what you’re drawn to, or who you magnetize, is meant teach you about yourself. You learn about what you really want and how far you’re willing to go regarding a commitment or obsession.

Venus in Scorpio is the all- or- nothing transit: you either want it/ them completely or you could care less. What’s dark, taboo or uncomfortable is beautiful. Absolute intimacy and merging with another is attractive.

You can use this energy for some deep investigation into your self -worth. How are your limits? Are you compelled to give all to the wrong person? Are you ready to commit all to the right person? How much is your work/ happiness really worth?

This transit can also enable the discovery of previously hidden resources (material and internal). It’s about digging deep enough to excavate what you didn’t realize you had.

Venus will enter Sagittarius on November 1st.

Here are the aspects Venus will make (note that there is a Venus/ Mercury conjunction on October 30th at 27°):

October 7th, 2019: Clarity and Limits

  • Mercury in Scorpio opposite Uranus RX in Taurus (5°)

  • Libra Sun square Saturn in Capricorn (14°)

Today we experience the contrasting energies of liberation and restriction. Uranus casts its clear light of detachment and revolution on Mercury in Scorpio’s shadowed words. The curtain is ripped back, the taboo is spoken out loud, the secret is exposed for everyone to see. A result or ending will be involved. Mercury in Scorpio is intimate and enclosed; You’ll be forced to step back from this so you can get a clearer view.

You may be speaking/ seeing forbidden truths or they may be forced upon you by an outside source. Either way, this is about liberating yourself from what was secret.

But Sun/Saturn clamps down, creating a pressured turning point. Rules or obligations can indicate enforced social protocol or relationship restrictions. Listen to what Mercury/Uranus is telling you- this will help you turn that corner and decide if the rules are still valid or not.

Perhaps you learn something about how authority/commitment functions in your life.
