At first you might think that it is the effect of Sun square Uranus<\/strong>, which is exact on Monday and makes the first part of the week full of frustrating, poorly-timed ego clashes and feathers being unnecessarily ruffled.<\/p>\n No matter what is going on in your love life this week, you have an opportunity to make things go much more smoothly over the course of the next month. On Wednesday, the New Moon in Leo<\/strong> gives us all a chance to consciously sit down and reboot something-or-other in our lives that needs to be altered. As regular readers know by now, I put a big emphasis on the ability of a New Moon to make a new beginning in your life, provided you take the time to set your intentions out carefully and consciously work with it.<\/p>\n This New Moon is conjunct Venus<\/strong>, so if it’s your love life or your finances you want to gain new ground on, this could be the month you make some real progress. There is also a trine happening now between Mars in Leo and Jupiter in Sagittarius. That combination can provide a lot of energy for getting the results that you want. In fact, you might want to be cautious that you aren’t a little too<\/em> boisterous with things in the middle of the week. Mars trine Jupiter energy is great, but it can be tricky to work with sometimes.<\/p>\n Mercury retrograde ends<\/strong> on Thursday. Although many of you will loudly and publicly breathe a sigh of relief at this, you haven’t all got me fooled. I know that some of you love blaming everything that goes wrong on Mercury retrograde, and once the retrograde is over you may feel like you didn’t complain enough. For you though, I have good news. Even though the retrograde may be over, Mercury is in what’s called “the shadow period” of the retrograde until the middle of August. Blame your broken cell phone and your missing e-mail messages on that, if you are so inclined.<\/p>\n Finally, the weekend rolls around and the real culprit behind the turbulence in your love life shows its hand. Venus square Uranus<\/strong> is exact on Friday, but it has been building throughout the week. The urge and the energy for romance are certainly present, but this is an inherently unstable aspect. Sure, Venus in Leo likes plenty of drama, but a square from Uranus may not be the kind of erratic influence you’re craving.
