Remember last week when the Solar Eclipse opposite Pluto made the Earth split open, the sky rained blood, and the Zombie Apocalypse began? Well, just like every other Eclipse ever, it has come and gone… so let’s get back to the regularly-scheduled business of figuring out your love life, okay?<\/p>\n
Ever been to one of those house parties where everyone is drinking and you’re having a good time, but rather than achieve any of your social or sexual goals for the evening, you just sort of end up curled up on the couch with the dog and pass out there? Well, that’s exactly how Venus is feeling this week.<\/p>\n
On Monday, the Venus party starts with Venus quincunx Mars<\/b>. If you’ve been reading this forecast for a while, you know I often associate the quincunx with confusion: maybe not necessarily bad confusion, but certainly not constructive either. Venus and Mars in aspect to each other tend to make the sex drive increase, even if the aspect is a relatively difficult one. Sexually, Venus quincunx Mars is a little like being invited to a buffet on the day you had to have your jaw wired shut.<\/p>\n
Also on Monday, Mercury quincunx Pluto<\/b> may find you wanting to express your frustration over things that have been building for a while. Unfortunately, the quincunx does as much good for Mercury as it does for Venus, so if and when you do speak up for yourself, you may very well find yourself shouting at someone in Aramaic. When expressing yourself, remain calm and stick to a language you both understand.<\/p>\n
Mostly though, Venus will be experiencing a soft and gentle buzz thanks to Venus sextile Jupiter<\/b>. Jupiter is strongly placed in Scorpio, and having recently come off of the retrograde, it is particularly strong right now. Venus in Virgo, on the other hand, is a somewhat more problematic placement. Long story short? The overstuffed good times of Jupiter win out over the romantic impulses of Venus.<\/p>\n
Be particularly careful this week when it comes to choosing when to plan a first date or start a new initiative. Because of the current location of most of the planets, this month will be prone to some particularly long Void of Course Moons. This week, avoid starting anything new on Tuesday during the day or Thursday evening, otherwise things are likely to go astray for you.<\/p>\n
And that, my friends, is how you ended up passed out at that party on the couch with the dog. You likely won’t get anywhere with your love life this week, but at least the dog will get a new best friend out of the deal.
