This week will feature some interesting (and potentially wild) romantic impulses, so maybe you should plan in advance to use your head and listen to Mercury while you can still hear the Voice of Reason. Or, hey, go hog-wild with it. Your call!<\/p>\n
Tuesday brings us Mercury conjunct Saturn<\/b>, which is in effect throughout the week. Mercury conjunct Saturn is not necessarily a fun time, but it brings a degree of sober second thought that is often necessary when it comes to managing your emotional life. Also, above and beyond romantic or sexual considerations, the first part of this week is an excellent time to get your act together as far as your plans and schedules and short trips go, because Mercury retrograde is coming before the end of the week. More on that later.<\/p>\n
The big news on the romantic outlook this week (and just in time for the weekend) is Venus entering Sagittarius<\/b> on Friday. Venus in Sagittarius is generally a lot more bouncy and fun-loving and sociable than Venus in Scorpio was, so if you didn’t get very far with your love life in the last month or so now could mark a major change in the tone. It is also an excellent placement for the many Christmas parties and such that start happening around this time of year. Just keep in mind that Sagittarius is not particularly known for its restraint, so be careful who you’re hitting on at that office party.<\/p>\n
Don’t plan any major new initiatives, emotional or otherwise, for Friday evening. The Moon will be Void of Course. However it’ll be Void in Taurus so if you already have someone to snuggle up with these are excellent conditions. Saturday and Sunday bring more social excitement with Moon in Gemini. Perhaps too much social excitement: there is a Full Moon in Gemini<\/b> early Sunday morning, which will affect Saturday night. Full Moons often bring amplified emotions, and this Full Moon is both square Neptune<\/b> (making people a lot more unrealistic) and quincunx Jupiter<\/b>, which will boost all your emotions, but not in a comfortable way. Overall, these are not circumstances for making the wisest personal decisions. That, with Venus having entered Sagittarius, adds up to “designated driver required.”<\/p>\n
Late Saturday night\/early Sunday morning, Mercury turns retrograde<\/b> and stays that way until the 22nd. This comes with all the usual cautions about your communications and your plans and making sure that you proofread things twice, and send them to the right email address, and so on. Mercury in Sagittarius isn’t known for its attention to fine detail, and being retrograde makes it even more reckless.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
