One of the two most influential aspects of the week is one that was actually exact last weekend but remains in full effect this week. Jupiter sextile Saturn<\/b> provides the circumstances with which you can (in one department or another) get your act together, whether it’s sorting out your love life or organizing your messy desk.<\/p>\n
On Thursday, Mercury (which is still retrograde) stumbles backwards into Leo<\/b>. This means that all the same tendencies towards spelling errors and bad directions and broken-down elevators will continue as it did when Mercury was retrograde in Virgo, except these everyday Mercury screw-ups will now be louder and more dramatic. Don’t panic though: we’ve only got about another week to go.<\/p>\n
The other major aspect influencing the entire week is exact on Saturday. Mars trine Uranus<\/b> takes that constructive energy from the Jupiter-Saturn aspect and turns it into quick wits and action and boldness. Put all of those together and you have a recipe for making good and real and positive change in your life. Doing that sort of thing requires a little forethought and wisdom, and unfortunately that sort of thing is a little harder to come by when Mercury is retrograde. Not helping matters is Mercury conjunct Mars<\/b> on Sunday. Yes, the aspect from Uranus may provide creativity and originality, but the conjunction to Mars might mean that what you think is creativity and originality is simply you being a jackass. Try to keep that under control, okay?<\/p>\n
I admit that when I’m writing a general forecast like this, I have a certain tendency to dismiss two things: the quincunx, and aspects to Chiron. Quincunxes are weird and slippery to describe at the best of times, and Chiron has a lot to do with deep psychological processes. Admittedly those things are important, but like the quincunx, it’s kind of hard to work them into a romance forecast. Nonetheless, this week I would ignore Mars quincunx Chiron<\/b> at both your peril and mine. The aspect is exact on Saturday but it’s slow enough that it will cast a shadow over this week and next week. When one takes the inherent aggression and action-oriented nature of Mars, then applies that in a weird and unpredictable way to the deep-set and psychological wounds that Chiron can represent, it’s easy to see how a slip of the tongue or a sudden outburst could lead to emotional disaster. Combining this with my warning about Mercury retrograde and Leo, and for God’s sake don’t get into any shouting matches with anyone.<\/p>\n
If you don’t manage to get much done with all of this during the week, at least there is hope that you will be able to get out and have a good time on the weekend. Aquarius may not have the reputation as being the most romantic of signs, but Moon in Aquarius<\/b> for Saturday’s date night and Sunday is certainly excellent at breaking the ice and socializing, and that’s often where a great romance can start.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
