\"weeklylove\"<\/a>When we look at astrological transits a week at a time, it’s sometimes easy to lose sight of the Big Picture. Although this week is worthy enough for consideration in its own right, it is also setting the stage for some major astrological drama in the weeks to come.<\/p>\n

Jupiter is slowing down and becoming more powerful as it approaches next week’s station and then goes retrograde at 22\u00b0 Leo. Also slowing down and gaining speed is Uranus, which is approaching the next exact square with Pluto this month. Just to top things off, by the end of December, Saturn enters Sagittarius. Remember that these things are coming as you live your life this week. This is not just any other ordinary week: it is also setting the conditions and ground rules for bigger things happening in your life in the year to come.<\/p>\n

The early part of the week is dominated by Mars in Capricorn sextile Saturn in Scorpio<\/b>. “You should get excellent results from hard work and determination this week” is probably not the most exciting thing an astrologer has ever told you, but it’s true. When you’re facing the grind of the work week, roll up your sleeves and grind right back at it. You’re much more likely than usual to get decent results for your efforts.<\/p>\n

In the middle of the week, Venus in Sagittarius is trine Jupiter in Leo<\/b>, and the aspect is exact on Thursday. Think of this as your reward for all that hard Mars-Saturn work you’ve done. Both of those planets love a good time and good companionship. Even better news: this aspect will still be in effect for your weekend.<\/p>\n

Also on Thursday, Mars enters Aquarius<\/b>. If Mars in Capricorn was a little too serious and work-oriented for your tastes, Mars in Aquarius will be a nice change of pace for you. The drives and ambitions of Mars me be a little less focused and realistic in Aquarius, but as any Aquarius can tell you: where’s the fun in being focused and realistic all the time?<\/p>\n

On Friday, Mercury trine Uranus<\/b> will help us all unleash a little original thinking and a bit of brilliance on our daily dilemmas. This is also a good time for you to communicate your desires in new and exciting ways, which leads us to date night on the weekend\u2026<\/p>\n

Saturday brings the Full Moon in Gemini<\/b>. Full Moons have a reputation for amplifying the emotions, and a full Moon in Gemini is particularly bright and sociable. This plus the Venus-Jupiter action makes for a potentially very lively and romantic weekend. Just remember that Saturn is still in Scorpio, acting as a sort of designated driver for the rest of the Zodiac.
