Still, you may find you have a hard time getting your point across to people.<\/p>\n

There are two days this week (Tuesday and Thursday) that feature day-long Void of Course Moons<\/strong>. Days where the Moon is Void all day long have a tendency to be annoyingly listless and directionless. If possible, it is best to avoid starting or finishing any projects during these times. If the project in question is your love life, you may find that clinging to a potentially unsatisfying status quo is still more profitable than attempting to make any radical changes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Astrologically, the centerpiece of the week is Wednesday’s New Moon in Gemini.<\/strong> The energies of the New Moon are a lot more subtle than that of the Full Moon, but if you sit down quietly and work with them, they’re incredibly powerful. It’s a chance to set the stage for what you get out of life in the next month. This New Moon comes with a couple of extra features that give it additional punch.<\/strong> First of all it takes place during a relatively rare Mercury-Venus sextile.<\/strong> This can be a particularly creative time for both solidifying and communicating your ideas, and making peace with both yourself and others. The Sun and Moon are also square Neptune on Wednesday, so be realistic about what it is you want from the Universe. Whatever it is you want, Moon trine Mars can help you get it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Venus enters Taurus late on Wednesday<\/strong>. A change of Signs always represents a bit of a shift in the general weather, and of course Venus has a strong link to romance. Venus rules Taurus, and generally a planet in the sign it rules is a good thing. However let’s not forget that Taurus is a stubborn placement. You may want what you want, but so does everyone else, and there’s no point in sitting around waiting for the other guy to make the first move.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mercury enters Cancer on Thursday.<\/strong> Mercury is essentially emotionally neutral, so it’s hard to make a case for Mercury leading to “emotional thinking” even when it’s in moody Cancer. However, for the next few weeks, you may want to be especially careful about how you go around expressing your needs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your dating situation on the weekend could prove to be especially dynamic.<\/strong> The Moon enters Cancer on Friday evening after a long Void of Course stretch on Thursday. On Friday the Moon interacts with that Mercury-Venus sextile, making it a little easier to communicate your needs and your feelings to a loved one or a potential loved one. Then on Saturday, the vibe gets kicked up a notch as the Moon passes through the degrees of the Cardinal Grand Cross<\/strong>: aspecting Mars, Pluto, and Uranus in order.
