\"weeklylove\"<\/a>The Sun enters Pisces this week, taking a bit of the edge off of a lot of Ego-related issues. The Ego, when it comes to your love life, is a funny thing: both vital and an impediment. Last week, Valentine’s Day may have left your Ego bruised if\u00a0the occasion wasn’t marked just right (or if there was no one to mark the occasion with) — and yet Love is supposed to be about The Other and not Yourself, right? Whatever the case, odds are good that last week left something or other to be recovered from, and this week will give you those opportunities if you time them properly.<\/p>\n

Throughout the week, the Moon passes from Void of Course in Virgo to Sagittarius, each Sign putting its own spin on the emotional tone. The week may in fact start out a little too<\/em> relationship-focused for many, with a sextile to Saturn and an opposition to Uranus on Monday and Tuesday — making for conflicting impulses to solidify things and then break the routines.<\/strong> So as far as relationship repair work, you might want to wait until Thursday and Friday, when the Moon in Scorpio lends intensity to the softness of Moon trine Jupiter and Moon trine Neptune.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday sees a rare occultation of Saturn by the Moon<\/strong>. Think of it as “Moon conjunct Saturn times two.” If what your love life needs is some serious restructuring and long-range planning, Friday could be the day for it (provided you get started before 5:10 PM Eastern\/2:10 PM Pacific, when the Moon goes Void Of Course). Whatever emotional tone you set early in the day will likely linger until Saturday,<\/strong> so be particularly cautious with a loved one’s feelings.<\/p>\n

Usually the key to working out conflicting urges in a relationship is communication, but this week Mercury is answering the phone on its<\/em> schedule, not yours<\/strong>: not only is it still retrograde, but has now backed into the later degrees of Aquarius. Mercury in Aquarius is usually a pretty bright placement, but just as “idle hands are the devil’s playthings,” an unaspected Mercury (other than the occasional fleeting hit from the transiting Moon and a square to Saturn on Wednesday) can cause more problems than it solves.<\/p>\n

We started this week’s forecast with bruised Egos, and by the end we have a chance to dissolve those wounds and start afresh: Sun conjunct Neptune can carry the risk of taking one’s own hurt too seriously<\/strong>, but played properly it can put our silly little personal issues into a larger perspective… which, when we’re dealing with others, is usually a good thing. And hey, worst-case scenario: if that occultation of Saturn by the Moon got you down, next week there’s a chance to make up for it, when the Moon does the same thing with Venus!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
