\"starfish\"<\/a>Virgo is a busy time of new commitments and new agendas.\u00a0 If Virgo season had a scent it would be the smell of pencil shavings and fresh paper. If Virgo had a signature look, it would be perfectly put together: our first day of school outfit. If Virgo had a library it would be full of self-help books, how-to and educational texts. The Virgoan urge for productivity, squaring things up, planning and scheduling, listing and problem solving is reflected in everything we say, wear and do this season.<\/p>\n

Ah, if only everything were so neat and tidy. If only we could throw our life’s problems into the Virgo processor and have them reformulated and regurgitated back out, with easy to follow instructions. But that is not life on Earth, and Pisces Moon knows it. There\u2019s so much in the world we cannot ever \u201cfigure out\u201d, questions we may never find answers for. Do UFO\u2019s exist? Reincarnation? And how do we justify natural disasters, like last week\u2019s flood in Lyons, Colorado that swept a high school friend\u2019s home away. Just the night before, I had happened to dream about him, for the first time in years. The next morning, my heart dropped as I read his simple Facebook status update \u201cmy house is being taken by the river.\u201d \u00a0An incredulous someone asked if this was metaphorical. Pictures soon followed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re living in a crazy, chaotic world,\u201d says Pisces. It\u2019s not untrue. The incredulous, ridiculous and devastating experiences in life align us with Mystery, of being apart of a bigger plan, even amidst a great loss. Pisces experiences are nonsensical, as senseless and irrational as losing one\u2019s house to a river. We think: there must be a reason. And we don\u2019t know the reason.<\/p>\n

Pisces rules this realm of Mystery, what we cannot justify, see or understand. At this full moon, when the world and its problems get to be too much for us, if the chaos in our lives threatens our mental stability, we can follow Pisces Moon\u2019s reigning need toward enchantment, wonder, escape, ecstasy, bliss, letting go –and receiving help and gifts from other beings, both material and immaterial ones. I\u2019m thinking again of my friend in Colorado, whose Facebook plea called forth a small army of Virgo helpers to help him salvage what they\u2019re able.\u00a0 I\u2019m thinking of all those people volunteering clothing, shelter and their prayers.<\/p>\n

This Pisces Full Moon falls at 26\u201941\u2019 Pisces-Virgo, and it is a Harvest Full Moon. The house of Virgo is the area of life you strive to work hard on- to understand, perfect and grow. The house of Pisces contains the unfathomable, where your faith will be tested and earned. In this house, much is asked of you and much is given. At times, the price you pay in this area, the loss, may be too dear. Yet everything looks different from the realm of Spirit. From the realm of Spirit, spiritual lessons are neither cheap nor given freely. Amidst our worst suffering and loss, we are being given a precious human opportunity to learn spiritual principles, like: compassion, charity, love, friendship. From Spirit realm, life is temporary, and\u00a0This being human is a guest house<\/em>, says the poet Rumi.\u00a0Every morning a new arrival.\u00a0A joy, a depression, a meanness,\u00a0some momentary awareness comes\u00a0as an unexpected visitor.\u00a0Welcome and entertain them all!<\/em>\u00a0At this full moon, look through the lens of Pisces and see from this place.<\/p>\n
