Gird your loins, ‘cuz here comes another eclipse. If you thought the last one two weeks ago was bitchy, well … the bitch is back and she’s meaner than ever. Having prepared you for shock and awe, let’s look at the upside, because there is one.

If you’ve been experiencing a sense of alienation from your main squeeze, you may find some type of resolution that wasn’t obvious before. You can thank Venus, goddess of love, in a sparkling angle to Uranus, planet of surprise. If all else fails, at least romance will offer some form of inspiration.

Scorpios and Pisces may especially feel this sense of renewal. The rest of the planets are just plain ornery, and you can expect to feel the tension. It’s a bit of one step forward, three steps back. To be frank, you’d do better to wait until the pixie dust from this eclipse settles before trying to move ahead with your greatest plans for the new year, even with Mercury out of his retrograde phase.

All of you cardinal types (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn): we know you’re hot to trot, but this message especially applies to you. Just hang in there and the cosmic tides will turn soon enough in your favor.

For every one of us: just a gentle reminder that it’s not the stress that counts but, rather, the way you respond to it that defines your experience of it. Bearing that in mind, you may just thrive on this wild ride.
