"Mercury"As Mercury has recently slowed down and is now in his/her retrograde phase, it seems timely to address the slow loading time of Sasstrology. As you may or may not know, every time a website has to call information from a different website, there is the potential for lag time. As a result, I have decided to (mostly) stop running display ads from ad networks.

From this moment on (unless I see that my plan is not working), Sasstrology is going to only show ads from our primary sponsor, Psychic Source, as well as the ads that sometimes display on the meebo bar at the bottom of all pages. All other ads are promoting products that you can buy at Sasstrology. These ads display faster because they run on our own server, and the purchase of these products will help Sasstrology become less reliant on ad networks for our survival.
