""Mars tiptoes into Virgo on November 10, energizing your desire to “improve” yourself. During this time you may feel a passion for perfection emerging as you experience the influence of this earthy force. You’ll notice an energetic push to set things right in your life. Any areas that may have gotten a little messy or out of control will now be subject to a major clean-up effort.

Love-wise, Mars in Virgo brings more attention to the details of sensual exploration. Slap-dash, casual affairs may suffer during this Mars transit, but more serious, committed relationships can benefit from Virgo’s desire to improve on existing habits and patterns. If sex and love start to seem more like work than play now, take heart, because eventually your efforts will pay off. As you fine-tune and perfect your skills in the bedroom, you may find that romance takes on a subtle depth and intensity that you’ve never before experienced.

Mars in Virgo demands that you put anything that is not working under a microscope, analyzing what has gone wrong and looking for solutions. Worry and anxiety can occur when this is taken too far, so try to moderate your critical attention, keeping it in check if you start to feel overwhelmed by all the problems you uncover.

Since Mars is also the planet of energy and action, one of the best ways to keep Mars in Virgo in check is to spend time exercising in nature. Gardening, hiking and other eco-friendly activities are great ones to share with a partner during this time.

[Editor’s Note: Mars will stay in Virgo until July 3 because it will be retrograde from January thru April 2012. Sasstrology will cover this period in a later blog post.]
