Since Monday is governed by the Moon, let\u2019s see what the planets are up to, with an emphasis on Luna.<\/i><\/div>\n

A brilliant mind is a beautiful thing. (Not that I can lay claim to having one myself, but I\u2019ve spoken to some very clever people in my time.) Yet even the most dazzling intellect needs a little help from the right side of the brain, where Intuition is activated. Today would be one of those days. Let\u2019s break it down: Mercury (Mind) and Mars (Will) are in Sagittarius (the Seeker). Sagittarius governs the portion of your birth chart (and psyche) in which you want to know the answers to Life\u2019s biggest questions. But the kicker is that Sagittarius energy also reveals the part of you that can also get conned into thinking that you already have all the answers. This is especially so with Mercury and Mars energizing this sign. <\/div>\n

Meanwhile the Moon (Feelings) is hanging out in intuitive Pisces all day long. In this sign, she\u2019s not compelled by ration or logic; she connects with us through our dreams or angelic messages, or inner guidance. When Moon is in Pisces she doesn\u2019t give a sweet fig that one plus one equals two, because there\u2019s no such thing as two in Pisces\u2019 realm. Everything plus everyone equals All One. The Moon is getting closer to Jupiter and Uranus, each of whom have been retrograde in Pisces for months. Moon thinks to herself: \u201cBefore I meet up with Pisces\u2019 co-ruler Jupiter tomorrow, let me find out how the tenants in his Sagittarius home are doing.\u201d So Moon picks up the phone to dial Mercury and Mars over in Sagittarius. (It\u2019s a long-distance call, but what are you gonna do?) Here then, is the conversation that ensues:<\/p>\n

Mercury:<\/strong> Hello?
Mars:<\/strong> (yelling in the background)<\/em> Who is it?
Moon:<\/strong> Hello Mercury, it\u2019s Luna here.
Mercury:<\/strong> Oh, hi there \u2013 everything alright?
Moon:<\/strong> Everything is divine. I just wanted to reach out and connect with you.
Mercury:<\/strong> Great. Listen, we\u2019re kinda busy here. I\u2019m trying to teach Mars how to speed read the Old Testament.\u201d
Moon:<\/strong> Why on Earth would you plough through ancient scriptures without taking the time to reflect on their stories?
Mercury:<\/strong> Well for starters, there are a lot of begats<\/em> in the text. We\u2019re just doing this so Mars can say he read the Bible.
Moon:<\/strong> Well I\u2019ve shone over Mount Kilimanjaro but that doesn\u2019t mean I\u2019ve climbed it.
Mercury:<\/strong> Huh? You lost me there.
Moon:<\/strong> Don\u2019t skim, my dear. Be fully present to what you\u2019re doing. Allow yourself to float in the experience, to soak up everything you can from it.
Mars:<\/strong> (bellowing in the background)<\/em> What\u2019s taking so long?
Mercury:<\/strong> (whispering)<\/em> I think Moon\u2019s jammering about taking a bubble bath or something.
Mars:<\/strong> (grabs the phone)<\/em> Hi Lady. Listen, we\u2019re in a hurry. As soon as Mercury helps me burn through the Torah we\u2019re going to judge who\u2019s better, Buddha or Baby Jesus.\u201d
Moon:<\/strong> Neither of them are in the Torah, darling. And they\u2019re both – hello? Hello? Mars? Mercury? Are you boys still there?
(Mars hangs up the receiver; Mercury looks at him quizzically.) <\/em>
Mercury:<\/strong> Did you just hang up on Luna?
Mars:<\/strong> No man, we, uh, got disconnected. I got the feeling she was trying to tell me something though.
Mercury:<\/strong> I can never understand a thing when she calls from Pisces. Always sounds like she\u2019s under water.\u201d
Mars:<\/strong> Heh heh. Okay, let\u2019s conquer the Bible so we can kill the Buddha.
Mercury:<\/strong> What?!
Mars:<\/strong> Ya, I came across something a while ago that says we\u2019re supposed to kill the Buddha if we ever meet him. I\u2019ve got my sword ready.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hmm\u2026Since it\u2019s your logic that\u2019s trying to kill your intuition, speak only to what you know. Mercury and Mars are at least making a sextile to Saturn, so that ought to help. Still, try taking a risk (Moon quincunx Saturn): let your Intuition speak through you. After all, the right side of your brain needs a workout!<\/p>\n
