We\u2019ll be looking at our own individual path quite differently during the next three weeks, as communicative Mercury escapes from the tights grips of intense Scorpio on Wednesday October 29, to find freedom in wanderlust Sagittarius.<\/strong> The energy with Mercury in Sagittarius<\/strong> can feel like a breath of fresh air, as we release dark moods, suspicion and control – so that our vision, connections and approach can expand. We can be driven from the investigative Mercury\/Pluto sextile on Thursday October 30, which is followed by a sweetening Venus\/Jupiter square on Sunday, November 2. <\/p>\n

On a personal note\u2026 hello again, and thank you for being here with me. Your patience is appreciated. As some of you know, I lost my mom a few months ago<\/a>, and I\u2019ve quietly survived a couple of \u2018life-quakes\u2019 and a few \u2018Tower\u2019 moments over the last few years as transformative Pluto (Death) sweeps through my astrological natal house of family, home, mother, childhood wounds, emotional security and foundation. Without going into too much detail, (because who has time for that?), I\u2019ve experienced (again) how life will just pick us up (like pieces from a game of chess), then randomly move us into a whole new direction, a brand new life. It\u2019s a dark and scary moment – because it\u2019s foreign territory, which is totally unfamiliar – yet, these are the cards we\u2019ve been dealt. <\/p>\n

Since youth, I\u2019ve always followed my gypsy soul and wild Sagittarius spirit, so I\u2019m no stranger when it comes to journeying the \u2018less traveled\u2019 roads. Because let\u2019s face it, life gets us active and moves us out of the comfortable zone – which is where we find change. And in this fiery energy, we can be deeply transformed by these unexpected outer changes, that simultaneously require inner transitions and adjustments to various levels of losses and deaths. Loved ones and unresolved situations simply disappear *in a poof* and aren\u2019t our responsibility anymore – but we\u2019re left in a position to learn how to deal with the physical loss, but also the emotional, mental, financial and\/or spiritual loss too.<\/p>\n

Sometimes you’ve got to let everything go – purge yourself. If you are unhappy with anything, whatever is bringing you down, get rid of it. Because you’ll find that when you’re free, your true creativity, your true self comes out. Tina Turner<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve walked (thousands of times) through all of the debris of what has been left in ruin. It was brutal – but the reality is, storms can be brutal. I\u2019ve been learning that my cozy little cocoon wasn\u2019t big enough for these brand new wings to expand. And even though my dragon wings are pretty tattered and torn – they\u2019re lit with fire – raising me up from the ashes. I dunno, another tattoo? HAHA! I can breathe again, and I\u2019m truly grateful for all the love, grace and support that I\u2019ve received from my faith, family and friends; my beloved son, my daughter (in law) and our furry boys!<\/p>\n

Despite spiraling through this storm\u2019s purification process – I will always remember and be grateful in knowing that I was being blessed, sheltered and divinely protected. I have lots of space now, to be creative and productive with my work, self healing and growth – while still being of service to help others, with their own healing and growth. <\/p>\n

When someone helps you and they’re struggling too, that’s not help, that’s love.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ms. Maya Angelou said it beautifully, \u2018I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it\u2019. <\/em><\/p>\n

And still I rise.<\/em><\/p>\n
