Our mind\u00a0constantly references old ways of being.
\nSimilar to how a history book searches back in time
\nin order to make sense of what we experience today,
\nwe look for what happened the last time we did this thing\u2026<\/p>\n
…and it didn\u2019t go well.<\/p>\n
We pull up our past Self.
\nThe one who was simply coping with what she didn\u2019t yet understand.
\nThe one\u00a0trying to survive, and who formed some beliefs to help her do that.
\nThe one who was doing the very best that she could at the time.<\/p>\n
Yet you are not that person anymore.<\/p>\n
So why do you keep reviving her?<\/p>\n
What if:
\nThe next time your memory starts to follow that well-worn neural pathway to the person you once were,
\nwhat if you didn’t reach for her? And, instead, you decided to em-body someone else?
\nPerhaps: The person you are today?<\/p>\n
The consciously-crafted,
\nwise,
\nincredibly aware,
\nversion of your Self-
\nwho you are Right Now.
\nYour Goddess Self.
\nYour True Self.<\/p>\n
Because that person who doubted, feared, worried, despaired?
\nThat person who only knew how to have this response?
\nThat version of you who LEARNED this?
\nShe is only being kept alive through memory and habit.<\/p>\n
You can decide to put her down.
\nLet her go.
\nIt really can be this simple:
\nPut down that precious artifact of your personal history,
\nand decide to reach for what holds the most vitality for you right now.<\/p>\n
The minute the past is triggered, you can choose to come back into present time.<\/p>\n
Try this:
\nPut one hand over your belly,
\nput the other over your heart,
\nand call in
\nYour True Self.<\/p>\n
