Hello friend! Mercury is stationing retrograde on Friday January 14. Thoughts, communications and travel, including emails, letters, faxes, computers, techie toys, vehicles, large machinery and even the weather can become wiry, funky or lost – which can cause misinterpretations, misunderstandings and breakdowns.

During this confusing three week cycle, it’s helpful to resist from making assumptions or jumping forward too quickly with what we may think that we already know. Instead, sit with the current information from the situation, and dare to solve the problem. Breathe. Take a few steps backwards; to reflect, remember, review, rethink, recorrect and reconnect. Otherwise, the issue is bound to repeat itself again. Allow yourself to be openminded and curious. Learn something new. See from another’s perspective. Be teachable.

Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them. The Dalai Lama

Whether we’re open to the messages from the cosmos, or simply experiencing these current earthy blunders – we can utilize the meditative Sun/Neptune sextile on Monday January 10 and the reviving Sun/Pluto conjunction on Sunday January 16 for inner reflection, understanding and healing. We may hope to avoid our work and responsibilities by taking the easy way out under the misleading Mars/Neptune square on Tuesday January 11 – but we’re likely to deceive others, as well as ourselves.
