<\/p>\n
This summer, I have been beach-reading a number of books from Gothic Romance novelist Victoria Holt,\u00a0which is probably why into last night\u2019s dream appeared a Governess (!).\u00a0When she came to me, instead of dressing me\u00a0in the modern fashions, as she did for the other girls also residing in this beautiful yet eerie Big House, she performed energy work, while declaring\u00a0in a cockney English accent,\u00a0\u201cOoh, this one is vulnerable; we must protect her. Ooh, she awakens in such a state! Out of sorts, she is. She must do this every day \u2013 to reconnect.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The energy shift\u00a0was palpable, in the dream. I could feel her reaching into deep places, in my muscles and body; myself moving from disconnection, feeling out of sorts, badly, restored into connection. I went from feeling unlike myself entirely, to entirely ME again. I went to the mirror; I was glowing, vibrant, my hair shone like silk.<\/p>\n I loved this dream for several reasons, because\u2026 um, magical Governess. A magical fairy godmother is a Cancerian’s dream! But I also felt it was an answer to a question I had asked of Spirit; I had been feeling so tired. I knew something needed adjusting.<\/p>\n This is the message I\u2019ve been receiving, lately:<\/p>\n You can always Reconnect.<\/em><\/p>\n You can always reconnect to your Divinity. Reconnect to the Truth of who you are.<\/em><\/p>\n No matter what you believe your problem to be, or circumstance, it is absolutely possible to be in total ease and grace, within yourself.<\/em><\/p>\n This means one can be physically ill, and also be just fine. Okay. Good, even. In fact, if you\u2019re not, you are engaged in the Ego\u2019s conditioning around duality. \u201cI can\u2019t possibly be good -and- be sick.\u201d Or \u201cI can\u2019t possibly be okay \u2013 and- be in this difficult circumstance.\u201d<\/p>\n Yes, you can, <\/em>Spirit insists. Whereas the Ego finds it extremely difficult to hold multiple, different, even seemingly conflicting realities (seemingly conflicting, but only to the Ego), the Soul has no problem with it. In fact, that is where Soul excels- in being okay with all of it.<\/p>\n OKAY WITH ALL OF IT. Not okay with this but not that. ALL OF IT. No exceptions. This is how we actually<\/em> embody: peace, ease, grace.<\/p>\n This is not an affirmation, not thinking ourself to be something we are not; it is knowing who we truly are.<\/em> It is not negating the reality we don’t want in order to get the one we do; it is stepping into our own Divinity, our eternal nature -which is not only okay with everything, but has the answers to issues that keep tripping us up.<\/em> When we foster the connection to our Divinity, when we learn how to recognize and support what it feels like to be in our natural True Self, we move beyond the limited way of regarding ourself, and into the abundance of our True Self. We discover that our True Nature is peaceful, accepting, loving, patient, capable… and when we don’t feel this way, we know how to get back.<\/p>\n At first, when I asked Spirit about my feeling unwell, I heard: AT EASE.<\/em> As though a command (it was!). After all<\/em>, I heard, solutions only arrive in moments of ease and relaxation\u2026so why not BE AT EASE now? It’s the frequency of Light, and how what you want to know will be known.<\/em><\/p>\n I stopped fretting about any of it. I let myself go blank, connected, inward. And from this place, I directly asked to be shown the way forward.<\/p>\n Then, soon after being at ease, truly, embodying Ease, I received the dream of the magical Governess — a dream figure and guide who actually helped me understand how to work with my energy more effectively, as well as another bit of helpful advice related to energy.<\/p>\n I consistently receive this kind of guidance because I put my relationship to my Divinity, my True Divine Self, above all else in my life.<\/strong> I make time to Reconnect. This means: Reconnecting as an energy practice several times daily, and holding the intention to listen inward, throughout. It is not just supreme self-care, though this is certainly part of it. It is listening to myself, and acting on what I hear.<\/p>\n It takes persistent dedication to Reconnect. Yet when I do… the dramatic energies of the Ego’s stories, the ups and downs of collective Ego Consciousness, the waves of change, and strange, fearful, doubt-filled, confused energies… just don’t penetrate –not past the surface.<\/p>\n Ultimately, it’s a choice. A decision. To dedicate oneself to listening, connecting, inward. It’s one we must remake again and again.<\/p>\n Sure, you can still get caught up in stories and energies. But when you consistently go return to feeling at ease within, you deeply know and feel that \u201cwhat\u2019s going on in the world\u201d cannot truly touch you. Everyone can be who they are; and things can simply play out, as they will..<\/p>\n Like a dream you can choose to awaken from when you are no longer enjoying it…<\/em>the gift of Reconnection is knowing that no matter what -especially those times you get caught up in thoughts, perceptions, energies, feelings – you can awaken, return home.
